Devil Chaser's MC, #3

1. To set (something) on fire: to cause (something) to burn
2. To give life or energy to (someone or something)
b. To cause the sudden occurrence of (something)

Lily-
Lily’s quiet life was upturned the day she found out her sister was dead. Now, she only has one thing on her mind- to keep her sister’s baby safe… at all cost.

A new life, a new job… a new world await Lily in Paris, TN. She’s determined to make it work. Not even the sexy mountain of a man, Goliath, is going to stand in her way. She had no idea why her presence has him so riled, but she really doesn’t care what he thinks. She’s there for one reason, and one reason only-to protect her nephew. A brooding biker is the last thing on her mind.

Goliath-
As Vice President of the Devil Chaser’s MC, Goliath’s main focus is his club. He’s worked hard to help make it legal and successful, and it’s finally paying off. He’s committed to the Devil Chaser’s, and his brothers know he’ll do anything for them.

Goliath had no clue what he was getting into the day he matched wits with the sassy spitfire Bishop had hired to run the bar. All he knew what he was instantly captivated by her. He had an overwhelming need to protect her from anything or anyone that might cause her harm, including his brothers.

Sometimes fate intervenes when we least expect it, and forces collide so fast and so hard, they can’t help but Ignite.

*** Warning- Ignite is book three of the Devil Chaser’s MC Romance series. It is a standalone romance and can be read without reading the other books in the series. This book is intended for readers 18 years old or older due to the explicit language, sexual situations, and violence that may be upsetting to some readers.

Loved Goliath! Thank goodness! After the disastrous last book I needed this! Goliath is so sweet. I love single parent book and this was perfect. He was so great with Lilly and John Warren. Their courtship was odd and the writing is still choppy but it was such a sweet story.

Lily

Lily is a sweet girl. Goliath is a very sexy rigid biker. They meet one night at the club's bar where Lily is bartending. The minute Goliath sees Lily he's in love. I loved this story.

Lily didn't have any notice before she was told her sister was dead and she needed to run with her late sisters son. Her mom set everything up and had Lily fleeing to Paris, Tennessee and working at a bartender at Devil Chaser's MC bar. There Lily meets Goliath in a less than flattering way, immediately they but heads but for different reasons.

Lily thinks Goliath is an overbearing oaf, while Goliath sees something in Lily and doesn't want anyone else getting close. Goliath inserts himself into Lily's and JW's life and while Lily initially puts up a fight about all he is doing, she finds herself getting close to the sweet side of Goliath. Trouble looms though as another MC is making their way in town and what Lily was running from finds it's way to her.

This was a great read but I still had questions at the end, especially about Lily's mother. This couple was perfect for one another and Goliath was an unexpected surprise. Will be picking up the other books in the series for sure.

5 Fantastic Stars!!!!

Loved, loved Goliath and Lily. Although at the start of their story I wasn’t quite feeling them, idk I guess her bantering ”sassiness” was a bit OTT for me but then fairly quickly it turned around and they quickly sucked me in completely lol!!!!

I loved that this was a fast paced story filled with lots of suspenseful moments and yes the HOT times were just that between those two!!!!!

Loved the book and as always can’t wait to continue with the series!

I thoroughly THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading Ignite!!

Sexy badass biker ~ check
Feisty Redhead bartender ~ check
A gorgeous baby to melt even the toughest of hearts ~ check check check

Ignite ticked all the right boxes for me, nothing like a good romance to get the emotions running. Goliath and Lily's story is the best so far in the series, I was able to stay focused on the story from beginning to end which I wasn't able to do with book 1 or 2. I loved how Goliath gets totally possessive over Lily with her outfits and decides to go all caveman on her arse whenever he gets a chance and then he meets little man John Warren and big bad tatted Goliath becomes the gentlest of giants and gets sunk like a boat. I guess a hot badass biker and a baby really does make you go awwww and make you melt... mix that with steamy hot sex and some awesome Christmas magic and you have a winner!!

Can't wait for Bobby and Courtney's story!!

I just finished this book and loved it. I've read all 3 in this series, and it's a toss up between Goliath and Bishop. One thing I really like about L. Wilder's series is that the guys are always true to their girls. Once they fall that's it. Goliath was great. He wasn't afraid to show how he felt. This series to me is on the lighter side of the MC spectrum which is a nice change up. I look forward to more from this author. This book had romance, a little drama, a little suspense, and great sex so what more can you ask for?

3 1/2 stars, I needed something sweet after the last book I read and this one hit the spot. Lily got the shock of her life when her mom knocked on her door to tell her her sister died, and that the father of her nephew John Warren who everyone knew hurt her sister was going to take the baby. With her mom's help Lily left and moved to her cousin Tessa's(the heroine from book one) town. Being offered the bar tending job at the MC Lily accepts knowing she need the money now more than ever. On her first day Lily meets Goliath. The second he see's Lily Goliath wants her but he doesn't want her working anywhere near the club and all the members, trying to get his way Goliath makes a huge impression on Lily, and it's bad.

Even though Goliath is the most attractive man Lily has ever scene he's a jerk but working at the club Lily see's him a lot and soon the attraction it too much for either to deny. As Lily gets the hang of raising her nephew she and Goliath begin to fall in love, and they both think that they may have found their future in each other but a new club is trying to move in the MC's territory and they plan to take over. When tragedy strikes Lily's nephew's father comes with a very different story than Lily was told and it may end with John Warren leaving with his father for good.

This is a sweet light MC book with insta-love, by a possessive biker. I really liked Goliath and Lily, this story had a lot to it but at it's core it was a sweet simple romance between a man and woman who are falling in love and learning to raise the little boy. It all gets wrapped up nicely and we are given great glimpse into the next book. I do wish the situation with John Warrens biological father, Lily's father, and her mother had been explained more, and that more time had been taken to delve into those story lines. Some things in this story were rushed a little too much as well as tied up a little too easily without enough explanation. But overall this was a really nice sweet MC read.

I just finished Ignite and I really liked it. This is apart of the Devils Chaser MC series so to get a better idea of all the characters it must all be read. This is about Goliath the VP and Lily. Lily has come to town with her dead sisters baby because she has been told that the babies daddy is bad news. She is trying to keep him safe but doesn't expect to fall for the big bad VP. They are both stubborn but can't help that instant attraction. What will happen when The babies daddy shows up? Just read and see.

The story for me has gotten better. If you have read my reviews for the other books then you know I was having a hard time hearing their voices. Yep. It's looking up. Im finally feeling these characters. This one was a good storyline. I like the mystery aspect to it with JW's daddy and also the mysterious Black Diamonds MC that are setting up shop. It's definitely keeping me on my toes and now I have to find out what the hell is going to happen!!

I really liked Goliath and his tender, loving ways towards Lily and her baby nephew. It's instant attraction upon meeting and Goliath moves quickly to start acting all alpha possessive with Lily. I usually don't like the insta-love romances but this one worked for me. They didn't immediately fall into bed and Goliath really worked on giving Lily time to adjust to the relationship. If left up to her, the sex would have happened much sooner. What really endeared Goliath to me was his easy, tender, loving relations with Lily's nephew. He was everything you want to see in a big alpha hot hunk of man with a tender, sensitive side. Lily's on the run with her nephew after her sister's death. There are some weaknesses in the plot and it seemed like the book ended abruptly but I really enjoyed reading Goliath and Lily's story.

Excited

I really loved this book. I didn't even know this book was out until l wilder told me. I was excited to see it. I read it real fast. they are a great couple. I loved that he was so mean to her in the beginning. It made me laugh because we all know that if a biker is mad and mean then of course they end up with the girl. well hello hot biker with innocent, lost, scared girl.... that makes for a good read. I love that it was not over done with sex scenes. there was a story. what I do hate is how the dang book just ended. Gosh dang it. I need more. I love this series. Yes!! give me more.

The story of Lily’s and Goliath’s love was fast paced. Everything progressed so quickly I didn’t get a chance to feel their connection. The moment the met, Goliath was a total jerk. Lily was sweet and all...but she just didn’t appeal to me.

There wasn’t anything in particular that threw me off...as a whole it just didn’t speak to me in a level that felt I was immersed in their story. And all the club drama happening in the background just felt like a stepping stone for Bobby and Courtney.

This book just felt like a filler between the previous book and the next.

Now this one I loved.

I loved how everyone banded together to help in any way they could with the new arrivals in town. Goliath was a marshmallow once he found his one and Lily was perfect for him. I agree with them both...best Christmas ever.

I'm actually anxious to read the next book, since the couple has been mentioned in all three of the previous stories.

Something has definitely sparked a fire in me and after reading this third book in the Devil Chaser's MC series...I know it is most probably Goliath...one of the sexiest and sweetest bad boys around.
When Lily's sister died of a drug overdose and she is asked to care for her sister's baby...she runs away to start over and protect John Warren before those responsible come looking for her and to possibly take or harm the baby. The father of the boy is Maverick, a member of Satan's Fury MC and as far as Lily knows, he is an evil man who was responsible for her sister's death.
Tessa, Lily's cousin is with Bishop and he hires Lily to work in his bar...a decision that pisses off Goliath and begins their whole tango of love-to-hate each other...while they both start to crumble down their walls of mistrust. When Goliath realizes why Lily is there and becomes involved with her and the baby boy who has captured everyone's hearts, it is game on for these two as they hardcore go through many difficult life changes to accomodate their new relationship.
In the mix are also couples Renegade and Taylor and Courtney and Bobby...each one having their own little dramas and typical couples issues. When John Warren's daddy comes back into the picture, things are not what everyone thought they would be like...lies, secrets and misunderstanding play a huge role in what really happened to keep Maverick away from his son and amidst some heartache and danger, ultimately a little boy's safety and happiness will triumph over all else.
I really loved the twist of these big burly dangerous club members becoming slaves to a baby and putting his safety and care above all else and of course, the love story between the tough and determined Lily and Goliath was sexy and funny at the same time.
This book is yet another fabulous addition to the series and I have grown to love these bikers and their strong-willed ladies. Wilder has clearly stepped up her game and written an engrossing and sweet love story with some unexpected turns.
HEA for one couple but more to come for a few more...I hope =)

I started this book this morning, and had to keep sneaking peaks while I was at work today to the point I believe I took too many noticeable breaks. Oh well, it was worth it. I needed to know what the heck was going on and how the main characters were dealing with 'their situations'. When it ended, I was disappointed because I wanted more. Great job L. Wilder! Especially, considering I never thought I would really enjoy a biker book. You proved me wrong because it wasn't trashy at all. It was perfect...hot and steamy, tastefully done, and although the males were "Alpha" types, they respected their women. I appreciated that.

I love how you started to close the chapter on the main story, leaving it a little open for things to still happen in the next book with Goliath and Lily, but at the same time...set us up for the next book, focusing other characters. I will definitely be waiting patiently for the next installment.

The only thing missing is the personal Goliath that should come with it...Can you say yummy.

Oh, and FYI readers, it's a series. So as one story closes, another opens, hence the purpose of leaving you with questions. I think part of the fun in reading is when you are given a chance to come up with your own scenarios, and then you are completely surprised when the author either reads your mind and gives you what you want, or when they go in a different direction and shock the heck out of you. My opinion of course. Oh, and did I mention I want my own Goliath. It was worth mentioning it again.

Surprisingly good MC read.

This is the first book I've read by this author I did notice it was book 3 but since it stated it could be read as a stand-a-lone I just started reading but now I've finished it I will be checking out 'Inferno' and 'Smolder' next.

The book opens with Lily discovering her sister is dead and in order to protect her nephew John Warren she's to leave immediately, leave her job, home and life with no notice and that's exactly what she does she drives for two days from Clallam County Washington to Paris Tennessee where her cousin Tessa lives, Tessa helps her start her new life.
Lily gets settled, well as much as she can since she's just had motherhood thrust upon her, she copes remarkably well although she has a lot of help from Tessa and her friends, she even has a job working bar for the Devil Chaser's MC but first day on the job she crosses swords with Goliath the clubs VP he's drop dead gorgeous, well she's female she can't help but notice and it would appear the attraction is mutual but Lily's not interested in a relationship with a biker but Goliath may have other ideas, so let the fun begin.
I really enjoyed this book, Lily is a great feisty no nonsense character, Goliath what can I say but I think I'm a little in love, it's a good read, it's tame for an MC book it's more of a romance really which is never a bad thing you can't beat a good romance.
I expected more drama mainly from a couple of the Fallen Girls and I was pleasantly surprised it didn't go that way.

5 BEST IN SERIES STARS

This was the best in the series for me. I loved the banter between Goliath and Lily and their chemistry certainly warmed my Kindle up!!

Lily finds herself in a completely unexpected situation caring for her baby nephew, John Warren (wouldn't have picked that name though...bit of a mouthful), and she literally has to pack up and go with him to her cousin Tessa's place. Tessa is Bishop's Old Lady , and Lily finds her life is now entangled with some seriously hot bikers that belong to Bishop's MC.
Goliath and Lily do not get off to the best of starts but, wow, the chemistry between these two is hot and their attraction to each other cannot be ignored. Can I just say, Goliath is one of the loveliest heroes I have read. He is all badass alpha but OMG, he is adorable with J.W. and he is so clearly in love with Lily. Loved the introduction of Maverick too...I read Maverick's story in the Satan's Fury series first by accident but it did not affect my enjoyment of any of the books.
The flow of the writing in this book is much, much better and there is no stilted conversation in this book....just lots of banter and hot conversation.

Ignite (A Devil Chaser's MC Book 3) by L. Wilder

5 Stars
Reviewed by Donna

Ignite is a really good title for the 3rd story in The Devil Chasers. Some Crazy things are happening in this story to say the least about all the emotional drama flying around. Like, Goliath knowing exactly what and who he wants which of course is the beautiful, Lily and JW. Goliath we know from the previous stories as one of the sexy bikers with a heart of gold. Who knew he would go for Lily and everything she came with including a christmas surprise!! I am wondering are there more surprised in store for JW. More drama with poor Courtney and Crack Nut Bobby. It took tragedy to wake up the quirky Bobby. I will have to read the next story to find out about Courtney and Bobby. This story will also get a 5 star rating!!!! A great series for one's book Library.

Oh, goodness! I loved this story! Goliath & Lily have an instant connection, but sparks fly & they can't seem to stop sniping at each other, which is funny rather than irritating. : )

I haven't read the other stories in this series, so it's possible this is part of the cadence of the series, but the only thing that kept this from being a 5 star, or 5++ star, really, is that it ends rather abruptly. The story goes along really quickly & is told very well, but then all of a sudden it's just over & I was left with questions & a slightly unfulfilled feeling. I'm hoping we get to see more of these two & how their story progresses in the next installment (I'm assuming there will be a next installment...)! : )
