Karl Norman is a great catch: dominant, sexy, powerful leader of the Sons of Thunder motorcycle gang. But when Grace Dawson discovers Karl’s secret, she flees in terror. It’s not his kinky side she is running from, it’s the growling monster he shifts into at the peak of ecstasy.
The next day his sensual voice reminds her she’s misses his unique passion and promise.
Naked on a moonlit public beach, Grace must decide whether to accept Karl and his paranormal lust, while a rival gang stalks the sands.
Will Grace ever hear her Alpha Howl?
We are pleased to announce that hhe conclusion to the Sons of Thunder series: Alpha Fangs is now available.
On Amazon this book's title reads like this: BBW Billionaire Shifter Werewolf Romance: Alpha Howl (Sons of Thunder MC Book 2). Let's break that down. It has a big beautiful woman. It's paranormal, has a billionaire alpha-asshole, who's also in a motorcycle club. (It also happens to have BDSM in it.) It's like the author Googled what was hot in erotica at the time of publication and wrote a series that had ALL of it in it. The fact that some of them make no sense together, let alone ALL of them, seems to have been irrelevant, especially since most of them are actually irrelevant. The shifter? He gets furry when he climaxes. That's about it. The MC? One guy road a motorcycle for about two sentences in the last book and the last 3 or so pages here have some others show up on bikes. That's about it. The billionaire aspect? He has a black card. That's it. The whole thing is a chaotic mash-up of half ideas. Plus, it's cheesy sex.
This is the continuation of the story the connection between Grace and Karl. I didn't have too much hope for this book. It didn't disappoint me. There was still nothing going on in this I installment. I had more questions than anything else.
After the shifting of Karl she still thought about him and still wanted him. But in her words , "But he seems do dominant. I don't like guys like that." So Grace has had a change of heart do fast about men who are dominant? She has been thinking about him and now she doesn't like guys like that. She is confused.
At other parts Grace is sure of what she wants. This is such a contrast. From the first book I was so surprised that she was really open about her feelings. That is not the typical characteristic of a female lead. To me with her being this way gave him nothing to chase after. Also, I didn't like the voices (Satana and Maria). Those voices made her seem crazy and the dialogue was confusing. The author could have done without that. The internal dialogue of the voices threw off the stability of the story.
One again I have the question of whether a shifter is common. Grace is talking Karl 's change with everyone. I thought this was a secret because later in the story you find out Karl has enemies that could come to hurt him. This bit of information turns Grace on. Grace in mortal danger is a turn on for her? With that she looked even more of an unstable character.
And what is up with her relationship with Sari? Are they sexual? I thought it was weird that Grace let Sari rub, kiss, and pinch her nipples? "...I don't want to go any father with her. Not now. With Karl and I just starting up." They don't have a typical relationship.
Finally, I still don't see the dominant/alpha side of Karla. And the cliffhanger at the end just didn't interest me to pick up the next book, but I have it so I will finish the series. Hoping not to many grammatical errors.
This is the second part of BBW Billionaire Shfter series. In this part we find that Grace is now aware of the shifter world and how it affects her and her new man. He is a dominate alpha with needs that maybe she can meet. But all is not safe for her or him. It ends with another cliffhanger and her back being held captive by the pirates of earlier...will he beable to save her in time? Next book. Deva Long this could have been put into one book not strung out. Still gave it 4 stars due to the fact I have read all three parts and enjoyed the outcome.
Grace is truly confused about what she wants in this book. She wants Karl, but he's not the kind of guy she goes for......not that she's had any like with the type of guy she goes for......they've all been losers. This ends in a cliffhanger so you need to read book 3 in the series. I did enjoy this series though. The author was kind enough to send me a copy of this book in the series in exchange for an honest review.
Well, that was hot. I am interested to see what happens next. There are times I am confused on the story line but then it comes right back together. I really like the story!
