Actual Rating: 3.5 (rounded up because I'm weak to stepford smiling gentlemanly haraguros) I picked this book up randomly but I ended up being charmed by the characters, specially the grand chancellor aka the main guy because his personality hit a lot of my pings yet he's so 'innocent' and cute even as he has some 'not so innocent' moments. The heroine was pretty cool too when she's in autopsy mode, I also like that she's the one who holds the cards in the relationship and that so far the main couple doesn't have dumb useless miscommunication drama despite the genre.
Sadly the book suffers from some draggy pacing and I get bored at some points until the finally introduced the third "sister" but it didn't ruin my general interest in reading more of the series.
