Livia Jamerlan is the author of Divided. She is also a hopeless romantic who is always looking for her next love story to pop in her head. Though Livia kept a journal throughout her early life, she never thought about pursuing a career in writing. She always used it as form of therapy, pouring her heart out into words. It wasn’t until a story developed in her head that she decided maybe she could write a book. At first it was just an escape from reality, but now she uses it as a power to put all her feelings, hopes, and fears on paper. Deciding it was time to tell her story, she began to write. With each passing day the story grew, characters were formed, and what seemed like a hobby at first has now become a passion for Livia.

She is a New Jersey Native who loves spending time with her husband and two dogs Buddy and Daisy. When she is not writing or hiding behind her Kindle, you can find her with outside, gardening, at a local shopping center enjoying some retail therapy, or enjoy a pepperoni pizza.

This is one hell of a roller coaster! Just when you think everything will FINALLY go smoothly between Peyton and Braelynn, we get another shit storm. Without going into details, we will finally find out everything there is to know about Peyton. As much as I LOVED the prior books in the series, HOLY SHIT, it just gets better! This book, like the others is filled with so much angst. I could NOT stop reading! I finished Contingent in one sitting! Peyton is so amazing, charming and sweet but we do see more of Haas and his Dominant persona. I absolutely love sweet and sexy Peyton, but Haas is just dreamy with his controlling, possessive side shining through. I would love a Haas spanking! Oops, did I just say admit that? ;-)

"We. Are. Not. Over. That will never be true. We're never going to be over because I won't allow it. Get that through your head. I won't ever get over you, so us being over is irrelevant."

Oh Lord, get ready for a super bumpy ride and get your bottle of wine ready. You will need to be intoxicated while reading or else you will end up punching someone in the balls. No Really, I'm serious all jokes aside, there is some suspense thrown in that just makes this a perfect read. Nothing is as it seems, Contingent had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Just when I thought this series couldn't have gotten any better, I was pleasantly surprised.

"I. Am. Not. Yours. Anymore. You can't claim me. This is over. You. Chose. This."

ARGHHHH!!!! I will admit, I wanted to kill Peyton so many times, I had a love hate relationship with him. I did have faith that there were secrets keeping Peyton and Braelynn apart. Will love conquer all and will they ever have a happily ever after? Only one way to find out!

Wow, wow, wow and another shot of WOW!!!

Omg I love this series !!!!!!

I have waited and waited for the last book of the trilogy to be released and was so eager to get my hands on it after how much book 1 and 2 affected me. This didn't disappoint in any way.
The previous books as I stated in both my reviews for them had made me want to throw my kindle .....well this book made me, yes I admit I actually did throw my kindle - I made sure the surface was a soft landing by slamming it down on the bed lol but yes this story prompted me to lose my cool and toss the story down !!

This book like the first two in the series yet again had me tied up in so many knots and pulled in several different directions I honestly felt emotionally drained and wrung out. The description of this series that I would tell friends is most definitely "book hangover material". My emotions are still yet to recover and I can't even look at another book !!!! I'm in a total book funk that I can't see the end of. So much so I'm already wanting to re-read the entire series from the start all over again.

Braelynn Wolf has been through more traumatic experiences than one person could ever hope of surviving yet she's proved to be a strong young woman with a fierce fighter attitude. Whatever life has tried to pull her down with she's come through it but this time has life thrown one too many traumas at her ? This is the ultimate test of her endurance and survivor spirit. Can Braelynn really claw back up when this time she's hit rock bottom?

Peyton Haas has made some wrong choices when it comes to Braelynn, choices that have cost him losing her. Peyton has had to also learn to fight for the woman he loves he's had change his ways and become someone more than he used to be. Now that he finally has Braelynn back in his arms again his happiness is rocked by his own secrets from his past coming back to haunt him. Peyton pushes Braelynn away in fear and in the process does the one thing he promised he'd never do - break her heart- again!

This time is it the point of no return for the couple?

I can't praise this series enough I absolutely love it. Livia Jamerlan has out done herself and I have said it before ....but it's really got under my skin!!! It's one of the best trilogies I've read and I'd even say Peyton Haas has seated himself firmly at number one in my book boyfriend list beating off the likes of Gideon Cross and Lucien Knight!! This is one series you don't want to miss.
I can't wait to read more from this superb author.

This is the last book of a trilogy so it's suggested you read them in order.

What an amazing series...the highs and lows, ups and downs. The love Peyton and Braelynn had for each other was timeless, they had found their soul mates in each other. At times they drifted apart, due to mistakes they made and sometimes the mistakes of others. But the times they truly needed each other they always came through. Braelynn's courage and strength amazed me, what she went through as a child and adult would of killed most people but she fought back and won.
Can't say enough good things about this series and highly recommend.

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this book since I finished reading Coherent. Man, oh man, Livia Jamerlan did not let me down at all. I was pulled in so many directions that I didn't know which way was up most of the time. You do need to read the other books in this series to fully grasp the history and complexity of Peyton and Braelynn's relationship. After the way the previous installment ended, I had no clue where this one was headed. I enjoyed the dual POV as it really allowed me to get into both of their heads and understand their actions even more.

Contingent continues the Peyton and Braelynn saga. Some time has passed and they've struggled but found a decent footing in their relationship. However when Peyton is taken off guard by someone, it sets off quite the chain of events. From there on, it is one heartbreaking encounter after another. I absolutely loved and hated all of the back and forth. Though they spend much of the book apart, they are never far from the others thoughts or hearts. I fully understood Peyton's plight though I didn't agree with the way he chose to handle it. His actions ultimately show how much he truly did love Lynn. And Braelynn, I have to commend her for not taking the easy way out and falling back into old habits. Though there were times she was tempted. Her growth and inner strength really shone through all the turmoil her life was in. She dug deep and found the best parts of herself even though her heart and soul were a mess.

The intensity steadily built throughout the book until it all came to a shocking head. I wasn't expecting that twist at all! I found myself holding my breath and cheering Braelynn on at the same time. Thankfully, this was the push Peyton needed to get his act together. I loved that Braelynn made him work for her for them and the future they had wanted. He went all out with his grand gesture and melted my heart even more. It was perfectly them.

I feel that this quote says it all..."Love is only a word until someone gives it a meaning." For Peyton and Braelynn that quote defined them. Livia Jamerlan gave it all to me in this book. She held true to her winning formula of perfectly blended humor (at the hands of the Gus and Loren), steaminess (oh was it hot when they got together) and angst. My emotions ran the full gamut. I laughed, cried, wanted to hit something, cried again and ended with a big sappy smile on my face. Everything came full circle for the couple. The Braelynn and Peyton saga is a true gem that will captivate and entrance. It was impossible to put down and even harder to forget.

Oh how I wanted to give Peyton a shake or two. Just when things were getting back to normal - or whatever normal looks like for them - for him and Lynn, he goes and messes things up big time. He lets someone between them and shatters her heart. Totally taken by surprise and not knowing how to get over this man, Lynn struggles day to day with Payton popping in to play and breaking her a little more each time. When her sister is attacked everything changes. Peyton decides he is going to fight for her the minute that Lynn is actually able to finally let him go. I so loved their story.

I give Contingent 5 hearts!

Finally!!! This recycled plot can be thrown in the trash!!

Initially I really enjoyed book one of this series. The character development and storyline kept me interested to the end and I was looking forward to book two. The leading lady, who shall now be referred to as "spineless-sniveling-idiot", started off as a strong, intelligent woman. She was fresh and sassy and interesting!! The main man, who henceforth shall be named "enormous-moronic-vagina", originally got my motorboat revved if ya now what I'm sayin'. I love successful, alpha males who go after what they want. However, by the end of book two, I was extremely disappointed to say the very least. The plot twists became bizarrely over dramatic and the strong leading characters became predictably insipid. I loathed SSI and EMV! Looaathhhed them? There was no way in hell I was going to purchase book three. So WHY IN THE HELL did I buy book three???!!!! I actually skimmed through it to ensure it was every bit as terrible as I feared it would be and color me surprised....it was more horrible than expected!!! The characters had been butchered, the plot run amok and my time sorely wasted. Needless to say, I would not recommend this book.

I loved this book... then I hated it... then I loved it again... then I hated it! Oh the feels!

It was a good book, just emotionally difficult to read because all I wanted was a HEA for Braelynn and Peyton!

The story picks up with a mind boggling epilogue, it set me off on the wrong foot reading that because I didn't want it to end like that! Braelynn and Peyton endure emotional storm after emotional storm, when you think there's sunshine through the rain something else happens and we're in the eye of the storm again. But there is sunshine after the rain of that you can be assured, and it feels satisfying.

Lavia Jamerlan was fearless writing this series, it tackles some of the toughest and ugliest issues a person can face and she didn't gloss them over, they weren't as dark as she could have gone but the reader got a glimpse into the darkness that the heroine especially had to endure and overcome.

I'm glad I took the time to read these books.

This third book was SOOOO good. I loved it. Peyton Haas is my hero.

But really - wouldn't it have been better if Peyton had told her the truth? No one likes secrets. It can lead to hatred in the deepest form when they come out.

He was a typical man in this book, sneaking in her apt. in the middle of the night and trying to see her, make love to her, but not giving her a reason why they couldn't be together. Everything was on HIS terms while she stayed in the dark, confused and wondering why he flipped the switch.

But in the end all the pieces fit together. WOW is all I can say.

Love Livia Jamerlan's books.

Wow! Talk about a whirlwind romance... Peyton and Braelynn have never made things easy and this book just goes to show that. What Peyton thought he was doing to protect Lynn came back and but him in the butt big time. But when you are protecting someone you love it's totally worth it. And in the bed they both come to understand that and realize they can't live without one another. But then again, what's life without obstacles? There would be no fun if everything was super easy. This is a messy story but a real one. Things in life, especially love are never easy. But it's worth it in the end!

Great ending to the series Livia Jamerlan! I loved Peyton and Braelynn, but i have to say i wanted to absolutely kill Peyton for what he was doing to Braelynn and there relationship in the book until we finally got the reason behind what he was doing. This book had the same amount of love, sex and angst as the other two in the series with a bit of suspense thrown in. Great epilogue with some info on all characters in the series!

Best. Freaking. Ending. DEFINITE MUST READ.

Dear Peyton,

You should consider yourself lucky that you're a fictional character because I would have choked you numerous times to death if I could find you in NY.

I cried and I was happy off and on again. Although I couldn't have seen this story go any other way. It was perfect with all the pain that it came with. Perfect ending for an admiring relationship, and one of the best series I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

Wow! Just wow! I wasn't sure what to expect with this book after reading the first two. I was so mad at first about what was happening. Peyton is just so....you just have to love him! I laughed , I cried, I got so mad but in the end I loved this roller coaster ride that Livia took us on!! If you haven't read he first two books you really need to to get what is happening, you won't be disappointed!!

I devoured this... I was so anxious to see how this was all going to come to a close, and turned out not at all what i thought..The secrets, the lies...so much was going on.
twists and turns thru out
As much as i was hating on Peyton thru out the book to the point where I started rooting for Landon and a whole new story line.. It all came together quite nicely in the end

Great conclusion to the series! Would've been a 5 star review, but I wanted 2 things. First, Braelynn & Peyton spent WAY too much of the book apart. That to me made the ending seem too rushed. I also want more in an epilogue...especially with a trilogy! I want to see not only the HEA, but more of it! More on the pregnancy would've been nice!!!

I can't say enough about this book. It does prove one thing, life isn't a rose garden, but never ever give up and keep on trying if you want something bad enough.

I am going back to not paying for books that are involved in a series, because at the end of the day it costs me more than buying a brand new release.

Sad that this is the end. I cried during all three books. Sad tears, happy tears and scared tears. This trilogy touched my heart and heated well other places. Justice and truth prevails and love should always win no matter the outcome. Now I need to find more of this new favorite author's creative works. Loved all of these three books.

I feel like this book was a bit of a disappointment compared to book one and two... But it was still good. I just felt like the book went a different turn from what I was expecting, considering how it ended in book two, guess not.
