This series has a bit of everything: sex, drama, angst, suspense and shocking twists. Overall a really enjoyable series. I'm glad I finally got a chance to check it out.

I forced myself to finish the first story. The plot, setting, twists and turns were very well done. The MCs were solid, though I got tired of their angsty build-up. The bad guys were very bad, and very bad things happened to many people - all pretty well done.
But the writing is poor. Mixed perspectives within one paragraph and/or changing every 2-3 paragraphs without notice. Lots of "tell" and not enough "show. I found myself editing entire passages in my head.
The sexy scenes were inventive and fought through the angst, but the avoidance of dirty talk and vulgar names for body parts became tiresome.
I won't be reading the next in the set unless someone tells me that the first book is the weakest.

Anyone who hasn't read the series is getting one hell of a deal!!! All 4 books for $0.99. This was one of the best series I've ever read.
Love me some Tara Sivec! The woman is an amazing writer who can write the hell out of drama, comedy, suspense, sex, and romance!

Each story was wonderful in it's own right. My favorite? ALL OF THEM! Tara Sivec is addictive and her stories are sizzling. I would buy this set just to read the new material. I can't get enough of Tara's writing!

I had already read all 4 books so I just read the deleted scenes and bonus material...
Safe to say...that GO FIGURE...I'm looking forward to "The End" more than anything else in 2015.

With this book, Tara has proven that not only does she do romantic comedies well, she does just as well with romantic suspense. This was a great story. There were twists and turns, some predictable, some not. I loved all the characters and I can't wait to read more about them. The story moved at a good pace and ended well.

Well, I liked the ending. Just not sure about the rest of the book. I liked Brady, but I never connected with any of the characters (except maybe Gwen) or the story. I didn't trust certain characters from the beginning and had some of the mystery figured out. There were twists, but they weren't all that surprising. I found the story to be somewhat predictable. With that being said, I am looking forward to reading the next book. I am interested in Gwen and Austin's story.

Outstanding
Four books of pure joy, steamy sex, wild adventure and heart wrenching suspense. I have enjoyed every moment with these characters. The men are hot SEALs with a lot of love and loyalty behind their hard ass attitudes. The women are all strong, forthright, fragile, sexy and the types you'd want to have your back. Garret and Parker kick it off with a wild romp to save the day in the Dominican Republic. They're full of secrets and years of unrequited love that will drag you in. There's a lot of backstory in the beginning but I promise, if you can stick with it, you will love it. Layla and Brady take us to Nashville and the world of celebrity security and a story about taking your life back. Gwen and Austin deal with the issue of domestic violence and military families. Their story is feisty and funny while shining a lens on the complexities of families caught in cycles of violence. And just when you let your guard down, Cole and Olivia will wrench your heart from your chest and the air from your lungs when they reveal the private and public pain of parenting, loss and mental health. Don't worry, you will feel healed and happy by the end but it's a wild ride. Your reward will be the extras at the end that may involve Angels, pink sparkly guns, a sports team worth of babies and the intro to three more security stories.

June 16, 2015Technically I'm not actually "done" with this book since it is a compilation of 4 different books, and have only read 2 of them but I can't bring myself to read the other 2. It started out very promising with A Beautiful Lie-loved the characters, their chemistry and their story. Because of You was ok. I didn't like either of the main characters as much but when the ending pretty much mirrored the ending of ABL, I felt cheated. One page into Worn Me Down and we have another preview of a basement scene, I said forget it! Such a disappointment. I really loved Seduction and Snacks by this author.

Book One... This has caught my attention... Great chemistry and steamy... Eventually!!.. A little long winded with the truth about their feelings, but was entertained along the way. I was looking forward to the end of this, as much as i liked it, it just took me what felt like FOREVER to finish it.. Too drawn out, but having said that, enjoyable too.

Third book was very good... Forth book Cole, was my least favorite. But overall a great author and a great box set. 4 stars!!

All kinds of hotness all bundled together for our enjoyment! Oh my this series is HOT! Sexy! Steamy! I couldn't do individual reviews because I didn't want to stop reading! These books are one of the reasons I love to read. They are well written and full of drama! Heartfelt and emotional. Full of everything you need from drama, suspense, love, lust, friendship, heartache, and family. Great series. Simply amazing!

What an amazing collection of stories! This series just plain rocks!!! Tara has such an amazing way of weaving a story to keep you on the edge of your seat. After reading them all, I believe the first is still my favorite. The beautiful love story is something that I haven't read about in awhile, so to me, it was fresh. I absolutely love the suspenseful aspect and the sex scenes are delicious. I highly recommend that you play with fire and read these panty weeping stories for yourself!

This series as a whole was a 4 for me. each book got better! but since i reviewed them all individually, i'm just commenting here on the bonus material. It was nice to revisit the couples and be there for an important moment in each of their lives. But the best surprise was the short story revealing a spin off series. Since the writing got better with each story in this book, i can only imagine how much i'll enjoy the next series.

I already bought the 4 books, but had to buy for the bonus material. I was not disappointed! The extra chapters for the four original stories added more to the stories that I never wanted to end. And...I won't give anything else away but to say that the other bonus material will get any fan of Tara excited for the coming year!

This is a spectacular box series. It is full of suspense, laughter, tears, wanting to throw your kindle, and love. And let me tell you you are not gonna believe "Who dun it" in each of the stories. This is a definite MUST-READ series. Can't wait for the next spin-off series

I stopped reading this series 25 pages into the first book. I'm sure it is a personal preference of what I like to read, but so much monologue was killing me. The perspectives were jumping all over the place with no apparent rhyme or reason from different characters to different time periods. I just couldn't even get started.

Beginning and end were strongest
Love the SEALS. Each one had to get through some tough trials. Luckily everyone got their HEA. Strong and sexy.

For me this was a perfect balance of action and romance. Each of the couples stories had me hooked and in trouble from my family for being unable to put it down, including during dinner!
