I felt like this was a bit of a filler book. To me, nothing seemed to really happen until the last 15/20%. There were a couple grammar and spelling mistakes and overall I didn't think that it was that great an installment in the Evolution series.

It was still good, I almost enjoyed the 5th book as much as the others. I loved that you could finally wrap up everything that has been happening to Jade, like get to know the back story, Nathan's motives, family relationships etc. What I really am a big fan of is Jade's and Chelsea's friendship. Reading about those two is always so refreshing, they have such a deep connection, they are both super ironic and I mean, Chelsea really is one of a kind. When everyone else would have run away from Jade as far as they could, she stays with her and is not once sceptical about her changing into someone else. Might be a little naive, but hey so am I.
Still, what really bothered me throughout this whole book is Jade's and Aiden's PERMANENT desire for sex. Like, what the hell, your whole world is falling apart, in one second you're complaining about how you're slowly changing into someone else, SPOILER ALERT you fucking just killed somebody just with your mind, saw visions of you killing your dog, your neighbor and your BOYFRIEND, kinda destroyed Aiden's family, but hey, let's "make our move worthwhile". What?!
That's mostly the reason for the 3.5. Now move on to book 6.

Oh wow what a major turn of events....

As you read book 5 in the Evolution Series you are going to be in for some major surprises that I didn't even see or thing were coming. Jane find out some really amazing and kind of crazy stuff about herself. She thinks she is doing stuff to people she loves, but the major twist in the story tells her that someone or something else is messing with her life. I don't want to give away what happens in book just be ready for one heck of a rollercoaster ride of emotions as you process what happens at the end of the story. Hats off to Kelly Carrero for one heck of a ride as you keep getting sucked further into the amazing series. Crazy

Jade has been seeing video visions of herself doing unimaginable things. Terrified that she might be capable of these horrific things. To me that is the scariest thing, not knowing how to stop it. Total surprise at the end and I love it. Crazy crazy crazy. Cant wait to see how it ends.

When I first hear about Jade turning evil, I felt uneasy about where the story was heading. Halfway reading it, I couldn't believe her doing all the wrong things and already made a guess, and I was right in the end.

Still, I feel for Jade and cannot wait to read how she will save the day again. I hope Aiden and Chelsea will realise something is weird about this new Jade.

Wow this made a serious turn in the series. You honestly feel for the characters, there never seems to be a day of peace for them. I never saw this plot twist coming and can't wait to see how it all turns out!
