Hashim nadeem is indeed artist of this period of time. I have read many novels written by him and perceived each of them worthwhile. Muqadas is depicting the reality what muslims go through in foreign countries. Islam is indubitably the best religion of all which always conveys the lesson of respect for other religions. I would propose others to read muqadas as the story is not prolong and written handsomely.
"Muqaddas" is an Urdu fictional novel written by the renowned author "Hashim Nadeem". This is the first book I have read of the Baloch writer.
The story revolves around a young Muslim American who faces several challenges after the 9/11.
The story has two major themes. First is the persecution of Muslims post 9/11 on the allegations of terrorism and how Muslims had suffered at the hands of the CIA. Second is how all religions should unite with each other against the blasphemy of any religion.
The story was well-developed in the beginning having a unique idea. However, with time, it started becoming more and more rushed whereas in the final pages, it was as if the author was just trying to complete the story.
Had the story been more thoroughly developed, it would have had much more effect. Also, in the last part, it started to feel too unnatural for the events to occur which actually compromised the foundation set by the author in the beginning.
Overall, this is still much better than most Urdu novels but it still needs much more improvement.
