Siobhan.... This poor girl! Damn.... Where's book 3!?!? I had a little difficulty believing Grayson's love for Siohban and at times it reminded me a lot of Sylvain Reynard's Gabriel's Inferno series, but I still enjoyed it. Can't wait for book 3!!!
This is the second book in this series and by the time the third comes out I will be a wreck waiting for the answers. This book does contain a lot of profanity and sexual scenes, so if this offends you, this book is not for you. Siobhan is in her last year at USC. She was seeing her professor, Grayson, and keeping it a secret. She was crushed after her breakup with Liam, after he cheated on her. She connected with Grayson on the rebound even though they both know this is forbidden. Siobhan is returning to her apartment after being with her mother while recuperating from her bad car accident. While in the hospital in bad condition Grayson doesn't visit and he backs away from her. She is not only trying to get better but she is mending a very broken heart. When she gets back her bestie, Jordan , picks her up. Grayson comes to the apartment to apoligize, but she doesn't want to talk. Finally he gets her to listen about why Vanessa talked him out of seeing her. Plus Vanessa told her she would never have him because he belongs to her. Anyway, they work through their problems only to be hit with the school finding out about their relationship. They will expel her if she doesn't stop seeing Grayson and he tells her its time for a break. She can't take anymore of this up and down relationship. Grayson is dismissed from the school and she wants to talk to him. When she goes to his home she sees Vanessa's car, but she goes to the door anyway. Before she knocks someone grabs her from behind. This story will make you cry, but it is a good read.
Oh wow, Oh my God, I am blown away. This book was amazing. I am so in love with Grayson and Shiv and I am dying for the final installment!
Dear Ms. Watson, please write fast!
I don't even know where to start. At the end of Forbidden Attraction Shiv was recovering from a car accident which nearly killed her and turned out not to be an accident after all. But the worse part was the heartbreak of Grayson ending their affair and seemingly returning to his on/off lover Vanessa.
The story picks up with Shiv recovering from her accident at her mother's house in Texas where Liam is a daily visitor. His friendship is helping her recover her spirits, he still loves her but he's not pushing her for more (it's obvious he hopes it's possible). When Shiv returns to USC with Jordan, she's dreading seeing Grayson and arranges her schedule to minimize the risk of it happening.
I don't want to spoil what happens when they come together again but it is so amazing. Grayson has stopped denying what Shiv means to him and begs her to let him make things right between them. There is groveling and apologies but tells her in no uncertain terms that he is in love with her. Sigh and swoon. They still have matters to work out and this story really ratchets up the sensuality and there are many explicit love scenes (which I love).
There are issues and bumps in their road, some seriously big ones and there is ongoing mystery that is more than a little dangerous. There are still secrets to be revealed. The ending had my heart pounding. I literally am dying to read the third and final book but at the same time I don't want it to end. Would I read these again? Absolutely!
I love the author's storytelling skills. Minor things (which in no way take away from my enjoyment of this story); I was hoping that the assumption that Grayson spent the night with Vanessa after their break up in book one was untrue, but the author made him more human by having him admit why it happened and made his assurances that it wouldn't happen again believable. I also wish Grayson had sought Shiv out instead of their first encounter happening by chance. But, these are minor as I said and I love everything about this story.
Thank you to the author is for the epilogue being first person from Grayson's perspective, I loved that! I liked how the author included the playlist of songs in both books. In Forbidden Love I listened to the songs on youtube and it made the story come even more to life.
I said in my review of Forbidden Attraction that I don't normally like installment books, well I freaking love this trilogy, cliffhangers and all.
I love when a series gets better and better! The ups and downs may kill me but, I will be loving every moment! Grayson I love you and I hate you! I am so happy you are telling Siobhan your secrets but at times I really wanted to scream! This is a read that will leave you on edge. Wondering is it all worth it and will they make it out of all of this drama together? To me there was a lot more drama in this one than the last. With a character like Vanessa how can there not be? This book is packed with emotions and still the forbidden ways that pulled you into book one! Finding a series that is this good is hard to come by. I hope that you all pick it up and give it a go. You will love all the characters and swoon over Grayson just like the rest of us! I do love this series and I don't know how long I can wait for the next book. The first one was amazing and this one is even better! How will I ever make it until the release of book 3! ~Lisa
Siobhan is getting ready to start her last semester at school. She is hopeful that after her recovery that her return to school will be better then when she left following her wreck. The only contact she has had during her recovery is Liam and her mom. Siobhan is still trying to move past Grayson without much success. After classes begin, she is faced with controversy between Liam and Grayson. Following this, Grayson is determined to have a talk with Siobhan whether she wants to or not. Grayson begins to attempt to contact Siobhan to explain himself without much luck. Once he is able to get past the barriers he takes a leap that seems to move them in the right direction for now. This book has very hot and steamy encounters that don’t disappoint. We get to see a lot of Jordan, who is the best type of friend to have. She is funny and loyal and no matter what has Siobhan’s back. There is much drama to Grayson and Siobhan reconnecting, it is frowned upon by many, including his parents. But how could any girl resist Grayson he is a ‘triple threat or maybe a sextuple threat’ according to Siobhan. “Grayson is a triple threat. He’s gorgeous, smart, rich, and dominant, f@*$s like a stallion, and has sex tricks up his sleeve to completely make you addicted. Okay so maybe he is a sextuple threat.” When word of their relationship gets out to family and the college, a whole new world of problems open up for them, and it might be just enough to destroy them all. I really enjoyed reading this book. It has the rekindling of lost love, drama, and suspense, crazy drinking nights with the girls, wild unpredictable sex and a cliffhanger that made me scream!!!! I can’t to see what is in storm for Siobhan, Grayson, Jordan, and rest of the group in the next book.
This is a student teacher romance. Grayson is Siobhans professor they were seeing each other ….all in secret. Siobhan is in her last year of USC,shes determined to finish her work and keep her head down graduate and keep as much distance between herself and Grayson as possible.Shes plans to leave Los Angeles also part of her plan to keep away from Grayson!Grayson on the other hand is determined, he has finally decided he wants Siobhan and hes not giving up without a fight. He tracks her down makes her listen to him, what happened and why and they decide to try to be together again …of course things don’t go smoothly for long and when they are found out threats are made hes fired and Siobhan threatened with being thrown out of school .Grayson backs away once more and when Siobhan goes to see him to talk something happens and …well…..you will have to read the book to find out!!!! Theres a lot of red hot sex and swearing so if you don’t like this kind of thing then maybe try something else,I, however loved it!! I love how the author can make you scream and cry while reading, pull emotions out of you, love Grayson then hate Grayson!!! Vanessa creates the drama aspect!! Siobhan you cant help but feel for her in all she has to endure and hope she will get what she wants in the end.S R Watson pulls you right into this amazing story of forbidden love. You can feel the amazing connection that Grayson and Siobhan have, the pull they have for each other that makes it almost impossible to stay away .I cant wait for the next not going to be too long!!!
This was a great novel. It is the continuing forbidden love story of Grayson and Siobhan. This is an intense read. The new storyline with the stalker makes the book more interesting than the first one. I thought it was a great student-teacher romance.
Grayson Michaels is the teacher that makes an agreement with Siobhan. He is the bad boy teacher with green eyes. He is charming, passionate and sexy as hell. I got to see who he was in the past and I found him interesting. I think he is a kind and decent man who has a broken past.
Siobhan is his student. She went to the same school as her boyfriend. However, she was dumped by him before they graduated. She then went into an agreement with Grayson. She is strong, sassy, and smart. Everything a heroine should be. They have great chemistry, and it shows with all of the sexy scenes.
The ending is intense and ended in a cliffhanger. I can't believe that . I hope book 3 brings Grayson and Siobhan to the HEA that they deserve. Can't wait to read book 3, and I hope this series gets better and better. Overall, an interesting read.
This book is the second in the trilogy. So if you haven't read the first book you need to! Anyway I have been waiting for this book for what feels like forever! So this picks up after the events of the last book. Siobhan is just ready to graduate. She has one semester left and she will be graduated and going as far from LA as she can get. Mainly to get away from Grayson. Grayson though is not ready to give up and finally ready to have Sioban in his life. After he finally gets her to listen and explains what happened and why, they try again. But good things do not last long. The school find out and she gets threatened with expulsion and Grayson gets let go. When she goes to graysons house to talk, something horrible happens! Oh my I swear the author wants to leave you yelling at your kindle! Just When you think that things might get better. Bam! Poor Siobhan has been through so much and now all this. I loved this book so much and i just can not wait for what is next! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
Wow, I don't even know where to begin...I loved book one. The taboo relationship between a student and professor is one of my favourite reads and Forbidden Attraction is one off my top student/professor reads. I couldn't wait to devour book 2 and continue on with Grayson and Siobhan, their chemistry was off the charts in book one. I couldn't put down Forbidden Attraction so I couldn't wait for that kind of read again with Forbidden Love. After finishing Forbidden Love, all I can say is that even though I didn't think it was possible it was even better. The story line, the plot, the scenes between Grayson and Siobhan were even hotter. The whole book was crazy good. There were still bumps in the road which I want in a book, who wants happy all the time..makes a book boring. The ending makes you want book 3 right away... Highly recommend the first two books and I can't wait for the next book. Love Grayson.
I received this for an honest review. I have to say that Absolutely without a doubt I am Graysons number 1 fan... I love this book. This book was the perfect continuation for the series. I fell in love with Grayson in Forbidden Attraction and I continue my love affair with him in Forbidden Love. I can not stress enough how much I loved this book. Once I picked it up I could NOT put it down. I have to admit for me this is a very hard review to write because I just do not want to give away anything. This is not a standalone. I will say this there is a lot in this book that you do not see coming. It absolutely blew me away.. I will say this I will be on pins and needles until I get the next book in this series... LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!!! #TEAMFREAKINGGRAYSON
5 out of 5 STARS! For those of you who haven't read book one in this trilogy, DO SO before reading Forbidden Love. But I can't get enough of student teacher romances and this one topped my favorites. Siobhan is seeing Grayson (aka her professor) and is in her last year at USC. Their relationship is forbidden on so many levels, but you can really feel a connection between Siobhan and Grayson. You find yourself rooting for them because all of the odds are against them. I really like Siobhans character, and she went through so much turmoil in this book in addition to the crumbling relationship with Grayson. The ending hooks you though and leaves you saying "WHAT?!" (In a good way.) I can't wait to read the third book and see what happens with their relationship.
This was OK.. It basically picks up where book 2 left off. The premise of the book is good (student falls for professor and they embark on a secret affair...what happens next is the basis of this book). There is drama, a mystery, lots of sex and a major cliffhanger. Some of the dialogue got on my nerves, as did the heroine at times. I will be reading book 3 when it is released....when that is, I have no idea.
This was a DNF. It went from the first book which was ok to just being straight up erotica. Non stop sex. It was like a bad porno. I quit at 49%. The teacher/student aspect was gone and it’s called Forbidden Love but was more like Forbidden Sex.
”He is barely holding it together and I’m caught off guard. I’ve never seen this side of him. He seems so broken.”
I would personally like to thank S. R. Watson for not making this book quite as heartbreaking and angst filled as the first one. That book messed me up!
This book has me all aboard the Grayson train! I wasn’t sure about him before but I’m rooting for him and Shiv now. I’m was a little worried that he was more into the sex than her but I don’t think so. I think he’s just not a totally mushy feelings guy. Oh, and he does have an insatiable sexual appetite, there’s nothing wrong with that.
This book had just the right amount on conflict in it and is really setting the third book up to solve the mystery of Shiv’s stalker.
That epilogue from Grayson’s POV? Everything I needed to feel good about him and really bring another aspect to the story that I didn’t even know was happening.
I’m so glad I continued this series even though the first book left me heartbroken and unsure if I even wanted Grayson and Shiv to get together. I highly recommend this book.
Again, this was okay. The writing itself wasn't bad, but I'm not quite sure why this had to be broken up into 3 books. This book is more of the back and forth between Grayson and Shiv, and honestly it gets tiresome. He says something to hurt her feelings, she sobs and gets drunk (even though it's said in the first book she doesn't drink often). Shiv annoys me because every time that Grayson does something, or associates with Vanessa (which is often), she runs. Honey, be an adult and talk about it. It would cut down on so much drama. Grayson runs so hot and cold it's not even funny. He could use the same advice...talk about it! I'll try not to give too much away, but the whole stalker thing still isn't fitting in the story for me. It isn't mentioned after the first part of the book until the very end, and the things that are revealed are confusing to say the least. Hopefully all the questions will be answered in the next book. I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
Hmmm.... i don't know how i feel about this book....
I think what i struggled with the most was connecting to the main characters....
The heroine really annoyed me.... the person your in love with, breaks your heart and sleeps with the woman you despise and all he has to do is tell you "i'm sorry" and everything is hunky dory... UM EXCUSE ME? NO!.
I also didn't like that this book was trying to many plots and lacked depth as a result. Like is this book a student/teacher romance... is it a mystery..... is it a new adult or BDSM/erotica?? The author tried to do all of it and i don't think it worked...
This is the second book in the trilogy and we still know nothing about the Hero? maybe thats why i'm having a hard time connecting to the characters...
Anyways.... the book is alright in my opinion... its certainly not the worst book i've ever read but its definitely not the best either.... I will read the third book when it comes out so i can rap up the trilogy.
I am once again going crazy. This book picked up right where the first left off. It was great that Siobhan and Grayson work things out and I love that he finally comes clean(?) with her about everything. When he processes his love for her, it melted my heart ... But I knew there'd be more to the story. And our author pals didn't let us down. Of course, Vanessa is there to stink things up. Ohh, she is such a great antagonist! And poor Liam(?), he's so broken hearted and commits to being just friends? The jury is still out on that one. Things are not always as they seem in this book. Once again the twists and turns leaves more to it. This book didn't leave me as much broken, but PO'd. Our authors know how to we excite and stimulate emotions... The ending??? Well you'll just have to see. Onto the 3rd book.
This begins where Forbidden Attraction Ends. Siobhan is healing after her accident and she is finishing her classes. She is single and she doesn't know where her life stands right now. While Greyson is settling things on his side. When they see each other again it is like the first time over again and they still have a pull towards each other. There is many obstacles in their way now and they have a long uphill battle in order to be together. Through it all though they can't seem to stay away from each other.
I was hoping Siobhan would become a stronger person in this book. It is annoying the way ever one walks all over her. ** I received a copy of this book from BookSprout in exchange for an honest review**
Just when Grayson and Siobhan(Shiv) finally seem to be overcoming all the obstacles that keep getting thrown in their way, more hell is rained down on them. Great writing, great story telling and great cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read book 3 to find out what happens next in this emotional roller coaster ride. Just when Shiv is finally maturing and dealing with her life better and boom...opps can’t tell you because i don’t want to spoil it. The suspense of who is trying to ruin them is killing me. This trilogy is just getting better and better the more I read. I highly recommend you and this one to your collection. It is worth it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Siobhan is still a pill and all that crying just makes me want to slap her. She’s like a train wreck that I just can’t stop watching. Grayson is not any better. I didn’t really have an opinion of him in book one so I left him alone but in this book he is just annoying. And him explaining away how he was with Vanessa was just pathetic. Then the end came and the twist was just eye rolling. Both are a hot mess but I just can’t look away. I have never dislike any characters as much as I dislike these and the only reason I gave all the books in the series 3 stars is because even when I hated the characters, the author managed to pull me in long enough to finish the series. That is a major miracle and I had to give the author credit for that.
I liked this story but it didn't give me the same enjoyment as the first book. This book also made me cringe because of how desperate and needy the main character was. Like if Greyson left (be it because he was on a business trip or because he was doing it for her own good so she wouldn't get expelled) she would get depressed and not want to do anything. Which was really annoying to say they least like girl snap out of it. Also really disappointed that I probably won't ever get a conclusion to this story since its been years and the third book has yet to be published.
Siobhan and Grayson finally admit to their feelings for each other, but there are a multitude of difficulties which they need to overcome. Just when it seems it is all about to end, Siobhan disappears - will their love survive? A great read - erotic, sensual and with suspense - highly recommended that you read the first book in this trilogy to be able to follow the story

This is the second book in the Forbidden Trilogy. The series is getting better and much more intense. A lotta drama in school, an auto accident, plenty of drama with Vanessa, the cold shoulder from Grayson and a cliffhanger. Can't wait until book three. Secrets still abound and there's no shortage of sexy hot scenes. Well written with complicated characters and an engaging story. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.
I absolutely loved the first book and was really looking forward to the continuation of he story, but must say I am disappointed . There were too many sex scenes to the point of getting boring and not enough story. It is such a shame and I hope that the last book in the series will pull it back. I think some authors try to draw books out into a Trilogie with sex scenes, when it would have been better, to stick with two books with more substance.
