Joy James has decided to spend his summer holidays with his family, away from the boarding school when one morning he sees a girl on the neighbouring roof top. He doesn't realize then that he'd fallen in love at that moment.
Fifteen years later while celebrating his anniversary with his girlfriend Cindy, Joy realizes that he belongs with the girl he had seen on the rooftop years ago.
Thus begins this journey for the fulfillment of true love...
Frankly speaking i wasn't a believer of 'love at first sight'. But this story tend to acknowledge me that love can pierce and settle down in your heart when your peeper see that person for the very first time.
I believe it is better to tell how i feel reading the story rather than narrating it all over again as readers already know that. Distance makes the hearts grow fonder. Joy James fell in love with a maiden who had fallen in love with the breeze, one beautiful morning. It wasn't a hormonal first sight love, it was a love for her young innocent soul. Zora Neale Hurston's words are best suited to Aisha Manzoor's debut work.
"Love makes your soul crawl out from its hidding place"
You fight to hold on, you fight to let go. But it ain't in your control and it's like:
It is a story of loving a human soul entangled in ruthlessness of society.
Aisha Manzoor is a very innovative new author. I wish her best of luck for further writings.
