Excellent fast paced novel by new author Margaret Krashes. This is a story of a lost young woman trying to find her way in a drug fueled world ruled by dangerous men. While not always making the best decisions, you can't help but hope that Kaya finds happiness at the end of her journey. I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Hopefully there will be a sequel in the near future!

Grimy, amoral characters, each with a set agenda and identity inhabit a world of drugs and violence. Non-likeable but all have their own dark charisma.
Sympathy is on short supply, nor do the characters demand it. It's a hard, seedy world they live in, where compassion for each other is in short supply.
It's all about respect and business.
Loved the book. Highly recommended.
