My thoughts:
The Future Without A Future, along with its two previous predecessors, have truly made me a fan of Ms. Nazarea Andrews! Recently, I had been scouring for a good dystopian-apocalyptic zombie read and luckily for me Inkslinger PR had answered my prayers!! *fist pump in the air to the author* ♡♥
I love the whole set up, execution, and the "what if" factor this series comprises of. Certainly kept me on my toes of trying to figure out what's going to happen next for these characters, mankind, and the irrevocable end game for this delectable, heart pulsing, and addictive phenomenon!
I will DEFINITELY be keeping an anxious eye out for a book 4!!

Nurrin for the #WIN!!
Absolutely, freaking, FANTASTIC! Again I am blown away by Nazarea, her ability to captivate me and leave me with my mouth hanging WIDE open!
After the major cliff hanger in book #2 I was chomping at the bit to dive into book #3, I wanted answers, blood, death and passion. Thank god, I was not disappointed. The Order needed to pay for taking Ren, infecting her brother, and sperating Finn from the only thing that kept him living. I loved how Finn, in his usual kick-ass way, made The Order realize that he was not messing around and wouldn't stop until this girl was found. He is so ruthless, and it's not that he's just a blood thristy killer, he holds very little close to him while guarding his emotions tightly. So when you F#$@ with what he holds onto, you've just crossed a line. *swoon*
With Ren being held up in a train car, realizing her world is about to be shattered, you'd expect an emotional break down....but she gives you the opposite. Fierce, confident, go "F#$& yourself" attitude! I am in love with her fire, spirit, determination and all around badass-ness. Though she's being held captive by The Order in some super secret bunker with dozens of other Firsts, she has 1 mission on her mind...her brother. Some might see that as a weakness, but it truly gives her the upper hand with these psyhcos! One of my favorite parts of this book was when she broke a huge social taboo and bit one of her guards in spite. HAHAHA, it was a perfect "You don't want to play nice, I'll show you!".
With the first third of this book running by pretty fast, I enjoyed the change of pace after the breech. The plan that Omar had was so methodical, thought out and just a tad bit crazy. It allowed us to take in everything that had just happened while hearing about his plan. Does it kind of draw a line between Ren & Finn....maybe, but it sure adds one hell of a plot twist! (Though I still think it's a suicide mission...but that's just me)
Run, buy this seris...get caught up & prepare yourself! You'll need to grab some tissues, your throwing stars & a couple of shots, because this book is going to be one hell of a ride!

I am completely in love with this series. When I picked up the first book in this series I wasn’t aware that my literary life was going to change. It has been a while since I have been addicted to a series and this one has changed that. Nazarea creates a zombie story that is original, heart stopping and addictive. I fell in love with Nurrin and Finn in the first book and my love for them keeps growing.
“Before, we were told that it takes a certain kind of soullessness to take a life, not every man could, because not every man was a monster. And to kill, to be willing to end someone so completely-that was a monstrous thing, it is still. And then the monsters came, and they made monsters of us all.”

My Thoughts:
Anyone who hangs around here often knows that prior to a few months ago, I was one of the biggest anti-zombie people you had ever met. I love paranormal, but anytime I heard zombies were involved, I politely declined. Okay, maybe not so politely. Regardless.... I was not a zom fan. A few months ago I was picked to be part of the blog tour for the second installment in this series and was pretty excited since the ratings were so high. I had absolutely zero idea what I was getting in to. I had no idea my literary life was about to be changed completely! Thanks to N and this zom series I have connected with so many amazing authors and so many great reads, but this series will always hold a special place in my heart. So what did I think? It was amazing. Duh.
So I will go right out and say that this novel was vastly different than it's two predecessors. There isn't as much buildup and the action was not as intense. What did this novel have that the others lacked? Emotion. Good God. This novel had me on such a roller coaster of feels I can't even begin to describe them. One minute you are cheering for Ren and her plight and the next you want to break down alongside her and give her the hug she desperately needs. Ren goes through a lot... a lot in this book. So much that at some points it was hard to process it all. I had to close my eyes and say a book prayer for her on more than one occasion. Seriously, that girl is one brave lady.
So it's got emotions, some actions, but what else? What does this store bring to the table? While the zom presence was not as important in this novel, we get to see the other side of this post-apocalyptic dystopia, the crumbling of society. Sure we caught glimpses of it in the other novels, but this is the first time we really see just how influential the government, or lack thereof, is in our story. We see their forms of resistance and their hesitations in doing what is best to help the people of the havens. I have to say that after reading this, Nazarea chose a perfect title, "The Future Without Hope" is extremely fitting. Is there hope for Ren, Finn, and the gang? Is there ever to be a light at the end of this tunnel? One can only hope, I know I sure do!
One thing I really liked about this novel was that we got a few glimpses into life pre-zoms. I have been begging N for some stories about the outbreak and about what life was like prior to it. While we still didn't quite get a whole story out of it, we definitely get to see a bit more of an insight into the life of the survivors. Also, we finally get to learn more about the War in the East that has been talked about for two books now, so that was awesome. Finn is such a complex character who I hate one minute and love the next, I was glad to see that N really went out of her way to give us more of a reason to be on Team Finn. Especially after some spoiler-y plot twists that happen!
Caleb plays a huge role in this story as well which was awesome! Especially considering book two was all about finding him. While his story eventually led to more feels, I really like how his storyline plays out in this novel. Caleb plays a huge role in Ren's story, so it was great to see him have some time in the spotlight. I just can't help but think how far this series has come in just three books! Incredible!
I highlighted 19 amazing quotes from this novel and always try to share my favorites with you guys. Rather than share that many, I think I will just share my favorite. It's a little long, but it's a great example of some of the amazing emotions that Nazarea throws into Future:
"Finn once said that hope is what killed us. Hope is what made up get up and keep trying when logic said we were dead. And hope being crushed is what would kill us in the end.
I didn't understand that, when he said it. It's a stupid f*ckin emotion. Zombies kill. Emotions just make you weak.
I didn't get it, because I was just a stupid f*ckin haven girl.
I get it now."
Did you catch some of those feels? I know I did. In the end, Nazarea really outdid herself with this novel. I do not have any complaints about this read. It was perfect for this series. N has mentioned that she has ideas for a couple more books and isn't exactly sure when this series will be ending, but I know in her talented hands, we can all rest assured that it will be an incredible ending, when it comes! Speaking of endings, HUGE CLIFFHANGER! Anyone familiar with this series knows N has used them before, but this time MAN IT'S A BIG ONE! Ahh!
All-in-all, I am granting Nazarea Andrew's The Future Without Hope was well deserved 5-star review. This near perfect read was unique, chilling, and heartfelt in true Nazarea form. This novel was an absolute pleasure to read and I cannot wait for more!

I was seriously excited to read this book after the last book's ending! It was quite the cliff-hanger and I couldn't wait to see how everything was going to play out! I signed up for the Blog Tour when I got an email about it, and was super lucky to get on it! I squealed when I got my ARC too lol! I freaking loved this book! It was definitely worth the wait and I couldn't put it down once I started it! I was also drawn right back into the characters world! The plot was again full of action, suspense, and a whole load of romance! It was continued on brilliantly from the last book and it held me attention all the way though! It was just brilliant! The only thing I will say about the plot is that there was a particular scene where the main male character sort of rescues the main female character, and because this book was written from dual point of view, it would have been interesting to have taken more of the main male character's journey to get to the female character! I felt it was a bit rushed! The plot was amazing though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the twist and turns too! They added a lot to the plot! The characters were again amazing! Nurrin was again the main female character and she was in such a dangerous situation in this book! I mean, the world she lives in is a dangerous situation all on its own, but she was in a even more dangerous situation! Nurrin handed it all the best she could and she was always trying to protect the people she loved! Nurrin has also changed quite a lot since the first book, but she's become a stronger person, which is what she has had to become because of the world she lives in! She's become more kick-ass too! I still loved her in this book, and there were some twists that made my heart go out to her too! I wasn't expecting her to have went through something so horrible! Finn was again the main male character and he was even hotter in this book! I didn't think it was possible for him to get any hotter lol! He was also seriously protective of Nurrin in this book, and he showed how far he would go to protect her and keep her safe! I wasn't expecting him to go as far as he did, but I could understand why he did as his feelings for Nurrin outweighed everything! Finn was again such a straight talker and I liked that we got to learn a little bit more about his background! I loved that this book was written from both Nurrin and Finn's point of views! It kinda had to be, and I really enjoyed that it was! I actually thought that this book was going to be the last book in this series for some reason, so I was when I got to the end of the book and it was left on another cliff-hanger, I got really excited because that means there's probably going to be another book lol! I can't wait to read it and see where the story's going to go, especially after that ending! The cover for this book is just perfect for it! That was a hell of a cliffhanger. I did not see that one coming.
Okay, first of all this book made me absolutely ragey. This is probably the only time I have ever given a five star review to a book in which the storyline made me so utterly furious, and I have to attribute that to the author's writing style which I really like a lot. She has a way of being extremely effective with a combination of lots of short precise paragraphs and really good timing. She also did a really good job with the alternating point of view, especially Finn's. I find that a lot of the time I have a hard time believing a male point of view when written by a woman, but she did it very convincingly. It's also extremely well paced which I enjoyed.
There is a lot of sadness in this book. There is a lot of cruelty and unfairness and very little joy. I am hoping that this is a precursor to a big payoff in the final installment. I am also hoping that there will be vindication and plenty of it because there are so many individuals whose actions are screaming out for payback in a big way.
The order. Every last screwed up member who did nothing to stop the useless sacrifice of innocent people. I don't care if they save the world, let them save it and then they should suffer. And what was the point in those sacrifices anyway? I know why they started, because of the rantings of the founding lunatic, but I never really felt like there was a satisfactory explanation as to why they continued. Especially in an organization whose members include a portion of intelligent individuals.
Holly. For defending the Order to Finn, claiming they are so much more than vice clubs and killing and one insane man feeding babies to the horde. And then telling Nurrin that the sacrifice of the firsts will continue because after all, that's their purpose, and for being such a smug little bitch about it.
Kenny, the spineless slug, Buchman. He deserves a slow cruel torturous death for his part in what happened to Nurrin.
The unnamed rapists. Every last one of them deserves pain and suffering.
The unknown member of the Order who locked Collin in a train car with one of the infected. I really wanted Collin to bite as many of those assholes as he could when they let him out. Though things would probably be worse for his sister if he had.
Omar. The stupid shit. What he did was as unnecessary as it was unforgivable. The stakes are high and drastic measures do need to be taken in order to save what's left of humanity from the encroaching hordes, but Nurrin already agreed to go with him and he knew that Finn would "follow the girl" so there was no reason for him to force Finn's hand that way.

Noooo, you must be ****ing joking!!!
That's what I uttered when I finished this book, OMG I was cross but thankfully this third book in the series is not going to be the last, if it was I would be writing a strongly worded letter to Nazarea!!
Anyway I digress , The Future Without Hope is the third novel in Nazarea's sexy dystopia, set in a world where the infected roam free and the last surviving humans hide behind the walls of Havens over run with the corrupt priests and government officials.
Now I am reading this review assuming you have read the last two books, The World Without a Future and The Horde Without End if you haven't stop now and go and read them, Now Nurrin and Finn went through hell at the end of the last book and the start of this book sees Finn desperately searching for her as she has gone missing, she has been taken, she is a First and she has all kinds of terror waiting for her unless Finn can find her.
Finn is not a happy bunny, his feelings for Nurrin have always boiled very close to the surface and now that she is gone he is stopping at nothing to get her back even if that means committing murder to get to her.
Nurrin has been taken by the Order and with her is her brother Collin, she has finally found him but he is infected, do they have a cure within the order and can it save him?, she has her own hell as she waits to find out what will happen to him whilst wishing that Finn was with her. Now Nurrin is by no means a shrinking violet and one particular bloody scene shows exactly what she will do once backed in to corner.
The infected feature less in this book but they are still very much "alive" with the threat of them never far away, the survivors in the Havens need to make a decision as to whether they will be safer behind the walls or in front of them.
Finn and Nurrin make for one heck of a smoking couple, I will say that yes they do find each other but once they do there is still a lot of book to come and as to what happens in that well I will say there are several extremely sexy scenes but Finn and Nurrin need to figure out what happens next, who can they trust, will they ever get peace in their lives?
As for that ending, OMG, it was so frustrating but I still love this book and there better had not be too long a wait for the next one!

That's what I uttered when I finished this book, OMG I was cross but thankfully this third book in the series is not going to be the last, if it was I would be writing a strongly worded letter to Nazarea!!
Anyway I digress , The Future Without Hope is the third novel in Nazarea's sexy dystopia, set in a world where the infected roam free and the last surviving humans hide behind the walls of Havens over run with the corrupt priests and government officials.
Now I am reading this review assuming you have read the last two books, The World Without a Future and The Horde Without End if you haven't stop now and go and read them, Now Nurrin and Finn went through hell at the end of the last book and the start of this book sees Finn desperately searching for her as she has gone missing, she has been taken, she is a First and she has all kinds of terror waiting for her unless Finn can find her.
Finn is not a happy bunny, his feelings for Nurrin have always boiled very close to the surface and now that she is gone he is stopping at nothing to get her back even if that means committing murder to get to her.
Nurrin has been taken by the Order and with her is her brother Collin, she has finally found him but he is infected, do they have a cure within the order and can it save him?, she has her own hell as she waits to find out what will happen to him whilst wishing that Finn was with her. Now Nurrin is by no means a shrinking violet and one particular bloody scene shows exactly what she will do once backed in to corner.
The infected feature less in this book but they are still very much "alive" with the threat of them never far away, the survivors in the Havens need to make a decision as to whether they will be safer behind the walls or in front of them.
Finn and Nurrin make for one heck of a smoking couple, I will say that yes they do find each other but once they do there is still a lot of book to come and as to what happens in that well I will say there are several extremely sexy scenes but Finn and Nurrin need to figure out what happens next, who can they trust, will they ever get peace in their lives?
As for that ending, OMG, it was so frustrating but I still love this book and there better had not be too long a wait for the next one!

Three down, one more to go, and Nazarea Andrews has me as hooked as ever on this story of Finn and Nurren, and their fight for survival.
Gah, I am so obsessed with this series. Each book is either as amazing as the last, or even better, and this latest release is absolutely no exception. From start to finish I was on edge, my heart rate was accelerated, and there was just no point in even trying to work out what would happen next, because with these books, you never can guess. Nazarea likes to throw curveballs that have you sucking in your next breath as if your life depends on it.
Because she makes you feel as if you are a part of this group of characters. Like you go through all these crazy, scary twists and turns with them, when their lives really are at stake. Nothing is certain in these books. People always say that you should expect the unexpected, but even then I think that Nazarea would still manage to surprise you with the course the plot takes. I'm never more on edge than when I finish a book in this series. Is the next one ready yet??
Now on to the characters. My love affair with Finn O 'Malley is still going strong! That man is seriously badass; if I'm gonna be surrounded by zombies, then he's the guy I want with me! In fact, I'd pretty much just like to have him with me, zombies or not ;) Nurren continues to be the kickass heroine that I love to read about, and the sexual tension between these two is through the freaking roof!! And we have a new character that made me kinda excited. She's called Holly. Now, Nazarea knows how obsessed I am with this series, so whether it was intentional or just a really great coincidence, I don't know. But I'm going to choose to be believe it was intentional ;)
With so many authors and new releases out there, it's fairly easy to find a good read. But finding an author that can not only tell a captivating story, but also pull the reader in with their excuisite writing, is like finding a diamond in the rough. I've only found a handful of such authors in my time as a reader, and one of those ever shining gems is Nazarea Andrews. She steps outside the box, and brings to life a whole new world in her books, and that is what reading is all about.

Ever since I started this series, I've been totally pulled in to this amazing world the author has created. Nurrin is a totally kick-ass, incredibly strong young woman...and Finn, he is the perfect example of an alpha male-much to Nurrin's dismay and continual frustration.
Here in The Future Without Hope, the suspense is just as pervasive as ever, though there is a bit less action, and you're also going to get one hell of an emotional kick when it comes to Nurrin's brother Collin. And through everything that happens, you'll find Finn standing strong and loyal-even at the most emotional points of the story.
The writing continues to impress, and the author continues to keep you thoroughly drawn in-you don't want to put the book down because you just HAVE to know what comes next. And just like the prior installments of this series, the story ends on a cliffhanger. And let me tell you-it's a doozy! But DO NOT let this stop you from reading this series, otherwise you're going to miss out on one hell of an awesome ride!

I have been on this journey with Ren and Finn from the very beginning, and I've seen them go through every emotion imaginable, and this book was like a culmination of all the feelings their hearts have bled throughout this series; with a heightened sense of fear, anguish, desire and even an unspoken love.
My heart splintered into a million pieces when it came to the Collin "situation" and I actually had to take a break from reading just to calm my racing heart. I've come to love these characters so much that I could feel their torment and pain, and having a brother myself, I was able to place myself in Ren's shoes. Just thinking about the heartache she went through has me tearing up.
This was a gut-wrenching read that took hold of me from the first page, and still hasn't let go. With the revelation that there may be a way to end the nightmare it brought a sense of hope, but where this story will actually lead, and who will survive till the end is still a guess, and I cannot wait to find out!!

Whoa…I loved every bit of this third installment as I did with the first and second. Again, this is an action packed thriller with a little romance thrown in to spice things up. We left Ren in the last book separated from Finn but she has finally found her brother but he is infected. Now, she is at the mercy of her captors and singled out as a first with no help from Finn or sick Colin. Her only hope for survival is Finn – who has no idea where she is.
So that is why you got a “whoa” at the beginning of the review. This book was amazing at keeping up the intense pace of action, deceitfulness, romance, surprises, and losses. There is no one that you can trust in this series besides just a few characters – all are pretty much shady. But Finn does whatever he has to do to find Ren and get her back to safety and it is pretty hardcore, which surprised me. It showed me who Finn really was and how committed he is to keeping his promise to Colin and keeping Ren safe. Also, it was fantastic to see Finn open up a little in this book. It wasn’t a lot but it was this small glimmer of hope that feelings actually exist in that hard exterior before the walls came back down again.
And the end…why, oh why, would Andrews leave it like that? I can’t believe where it stopped and I can’t believe that I don’t know when the fourth book is going to come out. Oh my goodness why would you end like that??? I honestly cannot get my mind off of this book or series. This book and series are just completely epic.
Nurrin has been kidnapped and is now set to be a sacrifice in years to come. They expect her to be grateful they haven’t killed her right away and that they’re feeding her, but Nurrin is a survivor and no matter what they throw at her she’ll survive.
Finn is taking the threat to Nurrin’s life seriously as he tries to find her. He decides he needs to take extreme measures and begins killing people to get the answers he needs. Now he has to team up with one of the most powerful men and the man Finn hates the most to get Nurrin back.
Oh my goodness so this book seriously just flew for me. I didn’t put it down at all. I swear one minute I’m at the beginning and then I’m reading one of the most cliffhanger endings in existence.
Nurrin goes through so much in this book it makes me sad. I won’t give too much away but I will say it’s disgustingly terrible and I can’t wait for the people who hurt her to pay.
Finn is his usual bad self, but he is also opening up to Nurrin about himself and to us as readers in his head. I like Finn a lot and I hope in the last installment he’s more open about everything about his past.

I don't understand. They were going to help Omar already. He didn't have to do THAT. And I was starting to think that Finn was a little grudge holdy in his mistrust. I guess I should've known by now to trust him and his instincts. Goodness. And just when (I think, anyway) that Ren finally gets that he doesn't hate her. Oh my. This last book (better be edited like the 2nd one and) BETTER have a happy ending!!!

This is a NA Zombie book. Told from the perspective views of Finn and Nurrin, it alternates between certain parts with the respective narrator with different quotes in the beginning of each part. Loved some of those quotes.
The first book, The World Without A Future, introduced us to Haven 8's Nurrin and her friends and family (her bro Collin) under an attack by zombies. Which leads Nurrin to leave the Haven and experience the world outside with her bro, boyfriend Dustin and Collin's fellow Walker Finn and they try to find ways to survive and venture to other Havens. Finn and Nurrin due to circumstances have to leave her brother and bf behind to get some supplies and when they return they find them gone.
[Nurrin is a First and it should be kept a secret from the world because more sinister things are at play under this whole zombie-pocalypse. You need to read to find out how it all plays out during the span of all the three books out so far.]
The second book, The Horde Without End focuses on Nurrin and Finn trying to find where Collin and Dustin are. Things between the two leads get electrical but not permanent. D: More info about Finn is revealed. Finn has this no-question policy that seriously annoy Nurrin and she gets played into the wrong hands by someone from Finn's past and ends up somewhere and with someone that shatters her but gives her relief as well. More revelations about what really is underplay during the whole zombie business is far more disturbing than the whole regenerating business. :p
The third book, The Future Without Hope, leads to Finn trying to find Nurrin and seeking out someone from his past. Nurrin has to come to terms with what is happening to her bro and being brave and trying to understand whatever is between Finn and her.
The whole Order and political aspect of the book were interesting. As for Finn I didn't really like him during the first book but after reading book 2 and 3, he didn't annoying me that much and I started liking the books later on more than the first. Nurrin is okay. I somewhat don't have as many problems with her as I had with Finn but I did get annoyed by her sometimes. :/ But me like them anyway now.
The books are quick reads which was fantastic. And I loved the whole quote business at the beginning of each perspective and also how the chapters with the analysis and/or musings before the events of previous chapters were continued in the next chapter(s). You will get what chapters I'm talking once you read the books.
The ending to the third was freaking whoa and thank god, Nazarea mentioned at the end that there is more to come. Haha. I would have freaking loved if the series ended here but I will be okay if we do get another book as there is so much more to know. Cos that was one shocking ending as I hadn't expected that.

Words Fueled by Love
I've really enjoyed this zombie series! I thought this was the last book in the series but NOPE! It ends in a killer cliffhanger. UGH!!! Currently no information is out about the next book, with exception to there apparently being at least one, maybe two more books planned.
I very much liked Finn opening up more in this book about his feelings. In book one, Nurrin is the only POV we read. In book two we get to experience both POV's of Nurrin and Finn. Finn is pretty closed off and we don't get much insight into what's in his head...aside from an insane attraction to Nurrin. Finn is one secretive, mysterious dude. I'm not so sure we ever even learn their ages - though I tried figuring that out.
Book three starts up right where two leaves us. Nurrin has been taken by The Order and is in a train going who knows where, with an infected. Meanwhile Finn is going crazy trying to find out what happened to her and sets off on a killing rampage of The Order until he gets answers.
I did have a few irritations with this book. First off, the Kindle edition I purchased had a TON of grammatical errors. I really can't wrap my mind around a book that has a publishing company being released for purchase with that many errors in it. Sure it's easy, and understandable to miss a few, but such a book should never have a ton. Second irritation, and this is just personal preference, the "F" bomb is dropped way more than seemed necessary. Finn has a mouth on him - he has since book one. So that's to be expected. However in this book, it felt like basically every time there was dialogue or a thought from one of the characters that there was another "F" bomb. It got old because it felt excessive. And my last irritation, there is a situation towards the end of the book that felt too glossed over to me. I can't give more information because I don't want to ruin any major details of the book, but it's something that happens to Nurrin. I had a "wait, what?" moment and had to go back to read because I felt like I missed something. A very vague comment wasn't enough for me to piece together what had happened at first read.
I'm still a big fan! I'm still anxious - maybe even extremely anxious now - to see what happens next. Zombie fans who like a little angst and romance (keeping in mind this is New Adult so there is language and some mature content) will enjoy.

It all ends in death. That's all there is - it's just a matter of how you pass the time until then. Hiding or fighting to live.

Nurrin for the #WIN!!
Absolutely, freaking, FANTASTIC! Again I am blown away by Nazarea, her ability to captivate me and leave me with my mouth hanging WIDE open!
After the major cliff hanger in book #2 I was chomping at the bit to dive into book #3, I wanted answers, blood, death and passion. Thank god, I was not disappointed. The Order needed to pay for taking Ren, infecting her brother, and sperating Finn from the only thing that kept him living. I loved how Finn, in his usual kick-ass way, made The Order realize that he was not messing around and wouldn't stop until this girl was found. He is so ruthless, and it's not that he's just a blood thristy killer, he holds very little close to him while guarding his emotions tightly. So when you F#$@ with what he holds onto, you've just crossed a line. *swoon*
With Ren being held up in a train car, realizing her world is about to be shattered, you'd expect an emotional break down....but she gives you the opposite. Fierce, confident, go "F#$& yourself" attitude! I am in love with her fire, spirit, determination and all around badass-ness. Though she's being held captive by The Order in some super secret bunker with dozens of other Firsts, she has 1 mission on her mind...her brother. Some might see that as a weakness, but it truly gives her the upper hand with these psyhcos! One of my favorite parts of this book was when she broke a huge social taboo and bit one of her guards in spite. HAHAHA, it was a perfect "You don't want to play nice, I'll show you!".
With the first third of this book running by pretty fast, I enjoyed the change of pace after the breech. The plan that Omar had was so methodical, thought out and just a tad bit crazy. It allowed us to take in everything that had just happened while hearing about his plan. Does it kind of draw a line between Ren & Finn....maybe, but it sure adds one hell of a plot twist! (Though I still think it's a suicide mission...but that's just me)
Run, buy this seris...get caught up & prepare yourself! You'll need to grab some tissues, your throwing stars & a couple of shots, because this book is going to be one hell of a ride!

The Order needed to pay for taking Ren, infecting her brother, and sperating Finn from the only thing that kept him living. I loved how Finn, in his usual kick-ass way, made The Order realize that he was not messing around and wouldn't stop until this girl was found. He is so ruthless, and it's not that he's just a blood thristy killer, he holds very little close to him while guarding his emotions tightly. So when you F#$@ with what he holds onto, you've just crossed a line. *swoon*
With Ren being held up in a train car, realizing her world is about to be shattered, you'd expect an emotional break down....but she gives you the opposite. Fierce, confident, go "F#$& yourself" attitude! I am in love with her fire, spirit, determination and all around badass-ness. Though she's being held captive by The Order in some super secret bunker with dozens of other Firsts, she has 1 mission on her mind...her brother. Some might see that as a weakness, but it truly gives her the upper hand with these psyhcos! One of my favorite parts of this book was when she broke a huge social taboo and bit one of her guards in spite. HAHAHA, it was a perfect "You don't want to play nice, I'll show you!".
With the first third of this book running by pretty fast, I enjoyed the change of pace after the breech. The plan that Omar had was so methodical, thought out and just a tad bit crazy. It allowed us to take in everything that had just happened while hearing about his plan. Does it kind of draw a line between Ren & Finn....maybe, but it sure adds one hell of a plot twist! (Though I still think it's a suicide mission...but that's just me)
Run, buy this seris...get caught up & prepare yourself! You'll need to grab some tissues, your throwing stars & a couple of shots, because this book is going to be one hell of a ride!

This series is just awesome. A bit dystopian, a bit horror, a great twist on the zombie apocalypse. Nazarea Andrews really ups the ante with The Future Without Hope, and I loved every minute.
Nurrin has been kidnapped, and she's reunited with her brother, Collin, as we saw in book two. She remains this strong young woman, and grows even more so. I love that she doesn't quit. She is a force to be reckoned with, for sure. In this book she definitely shows that she has grown up and takes many things into her own hands.
As for Finn, I loved him before, and I still love him. Yes, he's a bit damaged, but his heart is there and it's beating for Nurrin. The thing that gets me is that he doesn't freaking open his mouth and tell her the truth!! They keep crashing into each other, and they both want each other, they both need each other...but no one is saying the words that need to be said. And when every day could be your last, those words have even more importance. But as for Finn, he is so intelligent and cunning, and I love watching how he works. When it comes to his word, and those he cares about, there is no line he won't cross.
The Order - omg, they are some crazy freaks. There are so many sects to The Order, and I don't find my way to trusting anyone who wears a robe. I don't trust the politicians, don't trust the order. Just Finn and Nurrin. But watching how The Order works is simply great, and they are a great big twist in the whole scheme of things that is very cool.
The action is really great in the book. The drama is there, fueling it forward. I love how Nurrin and Finn are together, they are really fantastic. Nazarea Andrews writing is fantastic, and I had absolutely no problem getting sucked right into this third book. The wait for book four is going to kill me though, I'm pretty sure of that!!

Whoa…I loved every bit of this third installment as I did with the first and second. Again, this is an action packed thriller with a little romance thrown in to spice things up. We left Ren in the last book separated from Finn but she has finally found her brother but he is infected. Now, she is at the mercy of her captors and singled out as a first with no help from Finn or sick Colin. Her only hope for survival is Finn – who has no idea where she is.
So that is why you got a “whoa” at the beginning of the review. This book was amazing at keeping up the intense pace of action, deceitfulness, romance, surprises, and losses. There is no one that you can trust in this series besides just a few characters – all are pretty much shady. But Finn does whatever he has to do to find Ren and get her back to safety and it is pretty hardcore, which surprised me. It showed me who Finn really was and how committed he is to keeping his promise to Colin and keeping Ren safe. Also, it was fantastic to see Finn open up a little in this book. It wasn’t a lot but it was this small glimmer of hope that feelings actually exist in that hard exterior before the walls came back down again.
And the end…why, oh why, would Andrews leave it like that? I can’t believe where it stopped and I can’t believe that I don’t know when the fourth book is going to come out. Out of all the things that could have happened, it ended with that shocker. Do I have you interested now? ☺

Need more
I am beyond mad at how this story ended. I need the next book in the series. I do not want to wait this is very bad. I want to hit something because of this ending. I mean come on now I have to wait and wonder lol it is going to kill me. I am so not a patient person, if u can tell lol. I love Nurrin, aka Ren, and I love Finn; they are amazing characters. Ren is totally a kickass fighter. She is strong and independent and not like all those pansy girls that need to be saved. Ren does a lot of ass kickin and saving herself to. Finn is a mysterious and oh so super hott. There is a lot of sexual tension between them and they keep telling themselves that being together is a bad idea but I just wish they would get it over with and Tell each other how they feel lol. I Love this series it is amazing and a MUST READ!!!

Very cool apocalyptic world!
I love this series. There's a strong male lead, Finn, a hot bad boy with trust issues and a mysterious past. Also a strong female lead , Nurrin, who is gorgeous badass that loves her brother , the only family she has left . They have a love/hate relationship .And you'll get to know both of them pretty well. I've haven't read a zombie book quite like this one . The way the author has laid it out is so cool . With the different havens and the almost cult like following , called the Order, which has a huge presence in the book, makes this zombie series unique . I love how there's mystery, romance , killing, and my fav Zombies all rolled into one series . It's great. I couldn't put the book down. Can't wait to see what happens in series 4!

I don't really know how to rate this book, I don't normally read this kind and was a ware of it either but that's my fault. I haven't read the first two in this series and that may have helped to. It's not badly written, I'm 100% posting that if I was into ,zombies. With what I did read it was well written, it's just not for me.

While the story itself didn't take any huge leaps, there's a lot going on with the characters that makes every page worthwhile!

I'm not really sure I get why there are "firsts" to be begin with. The whole concept is kind of odd. If you remove that from the storyline, I think I would really like the series...
