Steam & Sorcery: A Transdimensional Adventure

Rate this book
Phineas Frakture's most recent invention allows him to travel freely through different dimensions. But when a plan to save a neighboring reality goes awry and Phineas ends up in a land of sword and sorcery instead, it's up to Sir Vlishgnath the Cleansing Light to come to his aid.

This adventure takes place after The Adventures of Phineas Frakture: Steam Wars by Joseph Gatch, and after The Vlishgnath Chronicles by Daniel Mitchell - a BigWorldNetwork crossover!

I have been an artist the majority of my life, though not taking it seriously until I was twenty and trying to make it in the comic book world. Being self taught in charcoal and later moving to acrylic and oil paint, I have paintings and murals in homes, businesses and schools across the nation. It wasn't until I collaborated with a good friend on a book that he wanted to write that I decided to try my hand at writing as well. Starting out with a series about pirates (long before they were mainstream) I then began writing fan fiction online with my site Star Trek - Adventure, which included a crossover with several other sites entitled Star Trek Unity (which, as we believe, is still the largest crossover on the internet).
My current project, The Adventures of Phineas Frakture, was picked up by Bigworldnetwork.com and ran as a weekly series until it was released in print, ebook and audio on August 12, 2013. The continuing series, subtitle The Steam Wars, is currently running at BWN and should be published sometime next year.

This is a crossover of two of my favorite new series - The Vlishgnath Chronicles and The Adventures of Phineas Frakture. These two authors have become good friends, it seems, and couldn't resist making sure the same happened to their main characters. Sword and Sorcery meets Steampunk in this concise but action-packed adventure melding two wonderful stories and genres. I loved every second, but definitely read the installments that come before it. Phineas' disregard for magic (being a scientist) until it is proven before his eyes is hilarious, and it's even more fun to see what he does once he realizes he can harness it. Though Phineas' reaction to Maximus from Vlishgnath's world might be my favorite. I just love that half-giant.
