Monica is an FBI agent and a polar bear shifter who's stationed near White Bear, Alaska. She's working a kidnapping case when a state trooper named Andy who's also a polar bear shifter insists on backing her up. The case soon becomes more complicated with dark sides that weren't expected. But both Andy and Monica are able to use their polar bears to move things along. And as they work together, they begin to feel a romantic connection and decide that there may be a more permanent partnership at play. Now they just have to survive the case.
Terry Spear is my all-time favorite paranormal author and this book's a prime example of why. It's well-written with well-developed characters and a fast-paced plot with an intriguing mystery. The romance is both sweet and spicy. I was drawn into this tantalizing tale from the beginning and kept hooked throughout. There's a strong sense of family and friendship in this story and I love the idea of fated mates. I absolutely loved this book and look forward to more from Terry. I highly recommend both book and series.

Totally keeps you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out the outcome!
Monica is an FBI agent who had just solved a kidnapping when she gets a call from her ex-boyfriend that his girlfriend had been kidnapped but he couldn't call the police or she would be hurt. On her way to try and find her, Monica drives through a blizzard and almost hits police officer Andy! Andy doesn't know whether to ticket her or be her backup. Fortunately, he decides to back her up because this is one twisty turvy case! Read this to find out what the end result is!
The pace is breakneck and the tone is intense with an action and character oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and engaging. I recommend reading the series in order so that you can get the most out of each story. I totally can't wait for the next one! If you have never read Terry Spear and really like paranormal romances with a ton of action, then try this. Then you will want to read all her Cougar, Wolf and Jaguar shifter series as well! Enjoy!

love these bears
Love shifter stories and Ms Spear is one of my favorites! Her stories are always filled with action and suspense, family and finding your mate. Can’t wait to see who Ben is fated to mate!

Likeable characters and a decent story. Nice addition to the series. There were too many villains in this one. It felt like a clown car!

Such a great read! Just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist came around the corner. I never wanted to put the book down!
