I'm blown away and just about speechless at the ending of this one. I initially dropped it down to three stars possibly even less, simply because of the last two pages or so, but realized that was just the shocked emotion for the author toying with emotions I hadn't realized I finally had - I had finally started to truly embrace the heroine. The story began with Jace being an absolute Prince Charming at the time Andrea most truly needed it, and as it progresses she finally pulls her head out of her ass and at long last the whole thing was finally coming together for me, and the something happens and I am left questioning everything, in the cynical annoying way Andy has done up until this part.
I didn't notice the errors as much as I had in previous installments, although I do think I remember marking a few. I think I should probably give this 5 stars for the author truly shocking me, but this is a romance and I just can't let myself take it that far.
The steaminess is back to a lower level on this one, and I find myself truly hoping it kicks back up in the next, final, part of this story. If I had had to wait for the next book to come out at this point, I a honestly not sure if I could finish it as I am at such a crossroads in my feelings at this point. But since I already have it downloaded and I have already spent so much time on this, I will give it the chance to see it through.
