This is the fourth part of RECKLESS - a five part steamy new adult series by Alice Ward. Part 1 is available for FREE on Amazon!
Some mistakes bring you to a path that you never planned to go down, a path you never saw coming.
Broken hearted and left all alone on a plane, heading home to see her family after a tragic accident, Andrea is left re-evaluating every choice she’s made over the last few weeks, especially the decision to accept Jace’s proposal. She’d given everything up—including the life she’d built with the man she once thought she would marry—when she decided to listen to her heart instead of her head.
But don’t our hearts sometimes deceive us?
Will Andrea find that she made the wrong choice? Or will Jace Richardson find a way to unlock a part of Andrea that she never even knew existed? Will their love stand the test of time, or was it ever even love to begin with?
Find out in the next installment of Reckless!
The RECKLESS Series is intended for a mature audience, 18+ only.
Alice Ward is the bestselling author of dozens of hot and steamy contemporary romances. She’s an amazingly prolific writer, releasing a new book almost every single month. Her books are widely read, especially by women and any other lovers of the romance genre. My Stepbrother, My Lover, was her first smash hit.
Now, I'm REALLY losing my patience with this series.
first, I don't like the price of each book compared to how short it is. second, im so aggrevated with Andrea in this book. by the end of this book, I'm ready to strangle her. hslf the book is her talking inside her own head. questioning EVERYTHING!!!!! when Jace has never ever given her any reason to doubt him.
but of course I have to get the final book. and the ending of book 4 will just be a misunderstanding that wasted so much of Jace and Andrea's time. as well as mine. its so much filler and drama. there is enough already between Sean's actions and Andrea's ridiculous mind, constantly over thinking everything.
Her family is ok. She told Jace she loved him back. He had to go back to Texas early because of a band member. When Andrea comes home no Jace. She's confused. She has been avoiding him knowing something is wrong. So she tries to call him. Except it isn't him answering. Need to read.. on to the last book..
I'm blown away and just about speechless at the ending of this one. I initially dropped it down to three stars possibly even less, simply because of the last two pages or so, but realized that was just the shocked emotion for the author toying with emotions I hadn't realized I finally had - I had finally started to truly embrace the heroine. The story began with Jace being an absolute Prince Charming at the time Andrea most truly needed it, and as it progresses she finally pulls her head out of her ass and at long last the whole thing was finally coming together for me, and the something happens and I am left questioning everything, in the cynical annoying way Andy has done up until this part.
I didn't notice the errors as much as I had in previous installments, although I do think I remember marking a few. I think I should probably give this 5 stars for the author truly shocking me, but this is a romance and I just can't let myself take it that far.
The steaminess is back to a lower level on this one, and I find myself truly hoping it kicks back up in the next, final, part of this story. If I had had to wait for the next book to come out at this point, I a honestly not sure if I could finish it as I am at such a crossroads in my feelings at this point. But since I already have it downloaded and I have already spent so much time on this, I will give it the chance to see it through.
This book infuriated me. All it was, was Andy whining through the whole thing. Then there is the fact that these books are so short. I really dislike when authors do this. Going to read the rest though because I am already invested.
What just happen?!?! So much happens in such short time and I don't know if I can take anymore! I really want to strangle Jace!! I...I...I need answers so I'm moving on to the last part and it better make me happy! This part definitely had me feeling a lot of emotions.
I love this series, this instalment had me in knots and I couldn't wait to read the next one. Jace continues to prove his worth over and over again. Andrea continues to second guess everything.
