As the story continues.. Ava and the rest of the people of Willow Falls get ready for what is coming. What exactly is it... A King of the Vampires that wants Ava to bring back his dead wife, a Rogue shifter that has dreams of being Alpha of the back that Caleb is Alpha of. On top of battling the unknown they will be dealing with their own issues. Caleb and Ava's relationship as she comes into her powers. Ava's mother keeping things from her.. still or is it she really doesn’t know? Blaze the wannabe Alpha attacking his adopted sister Lil which is CalebsCaleb’s older sister.
So yes welcome to Willow Falls. This is book 3 and its not a stand alone, you will need to read them in order. Its a fairly quick read (I read it in a day), but be warned yes a cliff hanger. If the story was so good...I'd be mad,
Now Lil in a fight for her life because of the attack by Blaze. Ava thinks that there is a just reason that Blaze is running round on a killing spree. After Lil's attack how will Ava convince Caleb that Blaze isn’t acting on is own. Said wolf corners Kelly Ava's friend and asks for help, wait wait was that sparks that flew between them?? Nah couldn't be those kind of sparks right??
Then as Ava and Kelly are taking a much needed girls weekend... at the club Ava finally gets to meet the King of the Vampires... rawr..all sexy and stuffs wait um .. no no sexy..muhaaa.. Lets not forget the ever threat of punishment from Sarah's tribe. How will Ava and Caleb find the time for themselves.. is there relationship doomed even before it starts?? Vampires.. Wolves and Magic oh my!! don’t forget some mmmm hot coupling.. toe curling sexy stuff mixed in with all that’s going on... Just a busy little town... but fun and amazing loved it .. Enjoy

OMG! This series just keeps getting better and better! One thing I do suggest is to purchase the whole series at once. After you read the first book, you are going to be hooked! Each book ends in a cliffhanger. And if you are like me, you are going to want to know what happens next right away! Okay...so this book picks up right after the fight with Blaez and with Lil hurt. The pack experiences two huge setbacks. There is a traitor amongst them and the water gets contaminated resulting in the pack suffering a hug blow. Ava, Kelly and their mothers set out to right what the contaminated water has done to the pack. Oh! And Blaez kidnaps Kelly and convinces her to do a spell that will show him that Elia (dead vampire queen) did in fact put a spell on him when he was a kid. The biggest thing for me in this book was that we saw a different side of Blaez. He actually shows some vulnerability and he finds himself being attracted to Kelly! I do hope that the author gives Blaez a chance at redemption and that he can explore what he feels for Kelly. Oh! And Ava meets Jasper face to face. She can not help but notice that she finds Jasper attractive. But what does this mean for Caleb and Ava?!

An unexpected ally arrives to help and a chance encounter opens Ava up to a new facet of her powers which a good thing since everything’s going haywire and Ava will have to embrace her place or it will cost her everything in this thrilling installment of The Marked One serial.

A fast pace and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, excitement and passion. Caleb has his hands full with Blaez’s attack on his pack and Ava’s trying to embrace her gifts to help and the reader can’t help but caught up in all the excitement as they do their best to keep Willow Falls safe and as they find a way to sneak in a couple hot & steamy moments for themselves.

There is never a dull moment in this installment as more unravels in the face of their enemies but Ava and her friends just may be up to the task with their counter attacks which keeps spine tingling anticipation building throughout. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination while the well orchestrated suspense and action draws the reader into the story and ensures they come back for more.

I found this part of the serial to be enjoyable and enlightening and with that cliffhanger I can’t wait to read the next one.

This series by Jocelyn Thomas continues to captivate with her paranormal world of witches, wolves and vampires! Ava Bertrand's mother failed to prepare Ava for her destiny as the Marked One who balances the supernatural power between the vampires and the wolves. As her mother's past continues to affect the current time, it unfolds with enemies and allies making their positions known in Willow's Falls. Yet Fate seems to be balancing the supernatural interference that Ava is facing for with every adversity, a counterbalance seems to occur. As Ava and her allies work to overcome the crippling of effects done to Caleb's wolf pack, time is running out for the town and for Ava. Can Ava stop Jasper and Blaez and protect her family and friends or has she run out of time? I sure hope so as I anxiously await the next installment in this series.

As the story progresses, Ava realizes that her powers are even stronger than her mother Sarah thinks. But now they must reverse the effect that her blood has had on the pack and Lil. Will they be able to accomplish it and will it be in time??

Blaez with the help of Kelly finally realizes that Ava has been right all along, the Vampires killed his family and put him under a spell all those years ago, but can they reverse the spell and release him from this evil?

Will they be able to stop Jasper in time and will Caleb have his brother by his side in the fight again?

This story only gets better, what surprises are in store~

I thought that the the author did a great job at writting the story and I enjoyed reading this book very much. I would recommend this book for others to read and I just love how the story continues. By now the water is tainted with Ava's blood and they must find an antidote to help Caleb and his pack prepare for what is to come. Blaez starts to wonder if what Ava had told him about him being under some spell was true. He didn't like that one bit at all. Ava must continue to prepare herself for Jasper the vampire king knows where to find her and will go lookong for her. Go get the book to find out more.

Ava really comes into her own in this book, she has gained confidence in her abilities, which is awesome because I hate when the heroine is so whiny and self loathing! The action is picking up and I can't wait to read the next one!
