A shocking murder. A terrifying secret...
Brian McDone is ready for a break. He's exhausted in his new Detective Inspector role, worried about his distant work partner, and he keeps on getting irritating pains in his chest. All he needs is a holiday.
But the killers of Preston have other ideas. A dead girl is found face down in a stream with her hands and ankles bound. Creepy antlers and disturbing clothing cling to her head, as flies swarm her naked skin.
Nobody knows her name.
As Detective Inspector Brian McDone digs deeper into the harrowing mystery, he discovers a sequence of shocking and horrifying revelations and secrets. Secrets that don't just threaten the lives of others, but the life of McDone himself.
The third book in the Brian McDone crime thriller series from author Ryan Casey, Nameless Kill is a mystery full of dark drama and edge-of-your-seat suspense. If you enjoy gritty British crime thrillers and complex characters, then Nameless Kill will be right up your street.
Ryan Casey is the author of over a dozen novels and a highly successful serial. He writes gritty post-apocalyptic fiction, throwing normal people into devastating situations and exploring how they react and adapt. He has also written several detective mysteries and thrillers. Across all genres, Casey's work is renowned for its rapid pacing, unforgettably complex characters, and knockout twists.
Casey lives in the United Kingdom. He has a BA degree in English with Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham, and has been writing stories for as long as he can remember. In his spare time, he can be spotted walking his West Highland White Terrier, has a passion for cinema and television, and probably spends a little bit too much time in the pub.
Have to say this was pretty disappointing. Love a crime thriller but this was a tricky read. Why did all the characters have a stutter? How is the main protagonist a detective inspector yet he seems to have no control over anything or be able to act in a ‘police-like’ way in most situations. He solved the case on luck, just couldn’t buy into the whole thing. Shame!
About to start no:4 as the first three are really exciting sometimes horrific stories linked to the private life of the main character whose career is chronicled throughout. Unputdownable and can’t wait for more. Definitely recommend.
I have all the books in this series and I’m getting ready to start #4. I have to say that so far all have been great reads and not at all disappointing! Great Writer😍
