Let me begin by stating that I truly loved the book. Mr. Carter did a wonderful job explaining the qualifying process for the Ryder Cup as well as the players' psche. However, seventy five percent of the text delt with the build up to the event. My two favorite players, McIlroy and Kaymer, held three of the four majors and the Players Championship, so I did not mind the extra emphasis. The writing style was great. I only wish the actual tournament had more substance to it. Loved the book though. I would definitely recommend to golf fans.

enjoyed the build up but the section on the 3 day's play is actually quite short - maybe a rushed publication days after the event?
