This is a weird and wonderful fantasy. Very powerful--and uplifting.

The mind-controlling race has been defeated, driven to the point of extinction. And the last of the rebels finally tracks down the last of the mind-traveling race. Their meeting changes both of them--and the future of their planet.

i will say straight out, there were a lot of errors in my copy that should have been caught in proofing. it distracted me from the story and did affect my rating.
so it was rather a slow starter for me but I loved the premise. overall characterisation was consistent and well thought out. would have enjoyed it in a longer format. ADORED the ending, I like it when they're not tied up in a bow.
