Librarian's note: Alternate cover edition of ASIN B00AGNFKR4.

Kristin has always been firmly grounded in reality. Trading in small-town Idaho for an Ivy-League school wasn't going to be an easy proposition and making it happen wasn't going to leave her time for unnecessary things like crushes on boys.

Kristin is about to find out that all of the creatures she thought were nothing more than myth are actually quite real. One of the worst of them is after her, an unstoppable killing machine that will chase her across a continent.

Kristin is completely out of her depth. Her one hope is a mysterious guy with dangerous skills and a dark past. He's the kind of guy that Kristin knows she shouldn't get involved with, but as their attraction grows it becomes apparent that being with him is going to require an even bigger sacrifice than she realized.

Publisher's Note: Readers new to the Reflections series should begin with Broken (currently free) or Torn, both of which are also by Dean Murray. Trapped is preceded by Intrusion and followed by Forsaken.

I liked it but I didn't see how it tied in the series until the last few chapters.

Still an amazing book that I enjoyed. 😁

I received this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

My feelings were mixed as I started reading this book. On the one hand, I was excited to read about different characters within the same world. On the other hand, I was seriously needing an Alec/Adri fix. Yes... my name is Merissa and I'm a Reflections addict. Ahem, back to the review. This story follows Kristin and Ash as they meet in sort of normal circumstances that quickly goes downhill and fast. Kristin is a strong female lead in this book, although she is only human so please bear with her! ;) Ash is exactly right for her but I will let him tell his story. Needless to say, I found it completely enthralling, involving yet another late night because I couldn't put it down.

And then, just to complete it, Alec and the Sanctuary pack make an appearance. Wow! Alec is losing it and my heart breaks for him. The scenes are intense with people learning things on all sides, especially Kristin. This story may seem separate at the start but it is completely necessary to fill in the blanks and to see how the pack is coping, from eyes other than Pack eyes.

I think this series just keeps on getting better and better and I can't wait to read the next one and see the Pack dynamic now that Kristin and Ash are part of it. Highly recommended!

I find it amazing how Dean Murray made 2 totally different story lines intertwin with this book. Ash and Kristin, and Alec and Adri story are familiar but different in so many ways. I thibk my favorite part is the conversation that Ash and Alec have during their first discussion that makes Ash almost lose it. Its amazing how much Alec has sort of fallen and how much Adri leaving has made him. Going deeper into the storyline makes me want this book never go end. Ash and Kristen meet in a bad way but find love through all the hardships that has happened to them. Since so far, that I know of, has told him of the Ja'tell bond, I cant wait to see how long Ash will go until he realizes what he has done to Kristen. Only one book left in the series and I cant wait to find out what happens to everyone as new challenges await them.

At first I couldn't get into this book because it was completely different characters but the farther I read the more interested I got. Alec and his pack come into the story the last few chapters. And they are intense.

If you are reading the reflections series, don't skip this section! The characters are great! The story is good and way more action. I like the fact that Kristen isn't helpless and can hold her own in a fight.

The one has been my favorite of the series. It was very interesting looking at the world from a different perspective with this book. The two main characters were my favorite so far.

Kristen and Ash's story is a great example at how two worlds can collide.

Love this couple!
