Survival surprise
Who knew, when things went to hell and survival became questionable pursuit some people rose to the challenge. Some, surprised themselves, others failed, and depended on those strong enough to protect them. This well written story is a very realistic depiction of a world that has failed. The MC is a very practical, if unexpected survivalist, one that can lead and make decisions. His new partner is beautiful and worthy of his love.

Post apocalypse novella
Alternate universe, post solar flare EMP social collapse, survival
The setup was all right, and both characters obviously have emotional baggage that will have to be worked around. Both food and fuel are in extremely short supply, and heading into winter, that's worrying, more than Luke believes it will. They lack many tools as well. We'll what happens in the next novella. Above average editing.

Who knew that love could be found at the end of the world?
Anyone reading this book presumably. Luke's no nonsense and problem solving mindset fits the setting well. I hope that Signy get more fleshed out in the coming parts. Great read.

Another Home Run !
I am a huge fan of these two! They create characters with depth, who struggle with their circumstances, and self doubt. The action and adventure is fun and the book moves along at a good pace. I am looking forward to the next book!
