About the author

Akimi Yoshida (Japanese: 吉田秋生, Yoshida Akimi) is a Japanese cartoonist from Tokyo, best known for her manga series Banana Fish.
Yoshida studied at the Musashino Art University in Tokyo and made her professional debut in 1977. Despite serialising her works in shōjo manga (girls' comics) magazines, most notably in 'Bessatsu Shōjo Comic' and 'Monthly Flowers', during the 80's she developed a visual style akin to the aesthetics of shōnen manga (boy's comics) of that era, contributing significantly to creating a bridge between these two traditions. This is particularly evident in her international best-seller Banana Fish (1985-1994), a thriller set in New York City blending action and homoerotic romance. Among her other major works are the series Yasha (1996-2002) and Umimachi Diary (2006-2018).
Yoshida's comics have received a number of accolades in Japan, including three Shogakukan Manga Awards (1983 and 2001 in the category 'shojo', 2015 in the general category), an Excellence Award for manga at the Japan Media Arts Festival (2007) and the 6th Manga Taishō award (2013).

La storia prosegue bene e coinvolge.
Mi ha fatto piacere notare che il film ha preso (e rielaborato) un episodio anche da questo quinto volume.
Ora però stacco e i prossimi volumi li recupero più avanti.

Capitolo più "serio" in cui l'argomento della morte è centrale, con tutte le conseguenze che comporta, dai testamenti alla sofferenza. Suzu riflette sul suo futuro, mentre il rapporto con Fuza si fa più stretto; Sachi inizia a lavorare presso il reparto di cure palliative, e Yasuyuki continua a corteggiarla; Yoshino sembra manifestare interesse verso il collega. Come sempre, dinamiche più leggere si alternano a tematiche più intense, affrontate con molta delicatezza. ♥️

Il carico emotivo si è fatto quasi ingestibile. Non vorrei mai staccarmi dalle sorelle Koda ma sento il bisogno di una pausa... Kamakura aspettami!

Ennesimo capolavoro di Akimi Yoshida da cui è stato tratto anche il film con lo stesso titolo di Hirokazu Kore'eda. La scoperta di una sorella, con cui condividono il padre, porta le sorelle Sachi 29 anni, infermiera, Yoshino 22, impiegata di banca e Chika di 19, commessa in un negozio di articoli sportivi, a decidere di portare a vivere con loro anche Suzu, 14enne ben educata e poco legata alla sua matrigna, che accetta immediatamente l'invito ad andare a vivere con loro. Da qui un manga bellissimo di 9 volumi che cattura l'attenzione con le semplici cose della vita. Imparemo a amare le sorelle Koda, le loro vicende amorose, e l'amore che le lega tutte e quattro. Meravglioso. Consigliatissomo.

Toujours très bien, j'ai bien aimé les questions abordées, notamment le fait de constituer un modèle pour d'autres filles (en tant que filles faisant du foot). j'apprécie aussi de voir que même si le manga montre des scènes de sexismes et autres oppressions, dans plusieurs cas, la narration critique ces situations (notamment en ridiculisant les personnages), ce qui permet à la fois de ne pas perdre totalement mon affection pour ces personnages, de ne pas transmettre un propos sexiste tel quel, tout en ayant des situations réalistes.

這一集裡，海貓食堂老闆娘生病過世，佑也退出球員練習，幸的乳房有硬塊。我最喜歡秘密那則，男女主角各自知道了重大的事情，而因為要各自保密所以兩人之間有微微的隔閡，淡淡苦澀煩惱的氣氛很到位。另一則短篇裡，男主角聽到女主角聊到自己沮喪時會有什麼行為表現，決心要默默牢記心中，也很動人。

ちょっと不安だった。最後の部分に幸はガンの悩み事で心配した。このシリーズは悲劇だらけもう充分だと思った。また誰か死ぬかだれか1人になるか誰か病気になるとはもうやだ。現実的過ぎ。幸い幸は大丈！

Ormai questa serie la sto divorando e ho allo stesso tempo voglia di finirla (mi manca il sesto volume e questo mese esce il settimo), ho anche paura di quello che potrebbe succedere...

Questo volume affronta temi molto profondi come quello della malattia e della morte, affronta temi che non tutti gli autori sanno rendere al meglio e questo è anche dovuto alla loro complessità. Ho amato come l'autrice ha saputo affrontare questo tema, non solo attraverso personaggi di comparsa, ma anche con personaggi di rilievo presenti in tutti i volumi.
