Nadia knew better than to fall in love with someone like Hunter. Her role as the daughter of the Midnight Stalkers' president is clear. She was born into the club, and she is supposed to die for it. But then Hunter walked into her life, and everything changed...
Hunter came to town with a deadly mission. The Sons of Rebellion are depending on their tough Sergeant at Arms to put an end to the evil deeds of the Midnight Stalkers. But when Hunter starts to spill blood, he has a new problem. It's not just the Midnight Stalkers he's tearing apart, but Nadia's life.
Their love should not have happened, but now it is too late. For the first time, Nadia and Hunter will have to ask themselves a question. Which is more important: love or family?
Elsa Day loves writing stories about characters just beginning to discover adulthood. Her books have romance, angst, and just the right amount of spice!
When she's not writing, Elsa can probably be found chugging tea, listening to international music, and baking sweets. She enjoys sketching, painting, and photography, but writing will always be her first love.
I was lucky enough to beta read this book and it was one I was eagerly awaiting.
I wasn't disappointed, I got my Hunter fix.
We delve more into the story that we were left with from book 1, Hunter and his brothers are still on their mission. Nadia and Hunter are still meeting up.
I also absolutely love Jase and Brent and the banter between them is fantastic, it's like tweedle dumb and tweedle dee.
Things hot up in this book and more things happen, then it ended where it did and I nearly cried. Elsa how can you do this to me, I need book 3 like now.
***Honoured to be part of the beta reading team***
Oh my frickin days..Elsa didn't...she bloomin well did! That ending had me hiding under my duvet for a week rocking, I have no finger nails left and only copious amounts of chocolate and alcohol coaxed me from my shock.
This is book two in this series and picks up exactly where book one leaves us...
"I wish I could tell her the truth. That I was here to rip her life apart. Person by person. Starting with the first name on my list..."
Hunter is Sergeant at Arms for a rival MC sent to dismantle the Midnight Stalkers MC one person at a time until there is nothing left but bones and dust. We discover the personal reasons behind Hunter's need to end Slick and the tradegy of his past. I fell more in love with Hunter in the book, he is a hot alpha male that is striving to be a better man. Nadia is battling her loyalty for her family for the man that has won her love. A modern day Romeo and Juliette...on steel horse back. They know their sexual attraction runs deeper than just the physical but they are standing on the opposite sides of the battlefield. Can their love survive?
This is a fast paced, bloody installment in the Sons of Rebellion series with death, mayhem and much sadness. I can't not wait for the next one ad I may have mentioned this ends on a cliffhanger...oh boy! Blood will be spilled and who will be left alive to claim victory? Five gritty stars.
The first book 'Slayer' promised so much but I'm not sure this book actually delivered, Hunter has a job to do and he can't let his growing feelings for Nadia get in his way so he reluctantly starts work. As the bodies start to pile up Nadia realises it must be Hunters work and she finds herself torn between her new love for Hunter and her feelings for her family. This is an incredibly quick read at only 84 pages it also ends at 85% and it felt to me anyway like something was missing. I know this is an insta-love MC read and while it's not to be taken seriously I personally need it to at least try.
I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Sons of Rebellion series. You definitely need to read book one first to be able to follow the plot and characters found in this book.
After Nadia and Hunter spend the night together things start going downhill fast. Hunter is still determined to follow through on his task of killing all the members of the Midnight Stalkers MC. But can he do it if it means that by the end of everything the one who gets hurt is Nadia?
I am really liking this series. The multitude of questions of how this is going to end are stacking up and I want answers! I will warn that the ending on this one will make you want to scream. As usual with Elsa Day's books I absolutely can't wait for the next book to come out.
“I was lucky to beta read this” Elsa Day delivered another adrenaline packed story from the second instalment of Sons of Rebellion but I have to say she notched it up another level with Hunter, leaving me on edge and screaming at my kindle as the cliff-hanger gloated with its last words and Hunter’s actions. I was left speechless and numb wondering how the hell Nadia and Hunter can continue their relationship with the number of casualties hitting the floor as the Sergeant of Arms mission opens doors to love and loss. I loved through all the grittiness that Elsa Day can deliver her flair of humour making me love Brent and Jase and pray like hell for a miracle as I await the next book!
Hunter "Slayer", has come to town to kill every last member of the gang. Nadia is the MC Presidents daughter, is she a distraction or is she more? Nadia is in a quandary, she is sure Hunter killer her Uncle Slick, but loving him can get her killed by her own family. Does she tell her family and risk them killing him. Hunter has a mission - and next on his list is the MC Treasurer, Tyson - who also happens to be Nadia's brother. Will he risk losing Nadia forever or the wrath of his club if he fails. Jaw dropping ending.
Love the cover for both these books. The female lead you don't that much about, what town she lives in, how old is she. I know they serve her alcohol in the bar but with being the princess of the town they aren't going to tell her no. She seemed very immature for this life. She has been tough but to grow up in that environment you would think her to be more tough or solid. Slayer you are rooting for, the brother is mentioned to be a chump only shows up at the end.
Loved this series from the beginning. Elsa has you trapped in this book from the start as you follow Hunter (slayer) and Nadia as they fight to be together. Both from different motor cycle clubs rivals to the death but now it has all changed Hunter has killed the mc Secretary Nadia brother will she forgive him? We will have to wait till book 3 to find out.
Oh my!! So much danger, excitement, loving and hot alpha males. Nadia and Hunter are in love but the are from rival MC's!!! Will they ever be able to be together? How will Hunter carry out the hits on her family when he loves her. Good story
The first book was a good teaser, but this one I'm not sure about. It felt like something was missing. I don't know I have to think about buying the next book
Liked the book. This was an interesting travel between the business and love, in what is involved the conversion of Slyer as MAN: between his mission and the love for Nadia. Even if Hunter ( Slyer ) is the rival with Nadia's club, their love is true and don't matter the business in which is him involved. Even if Hunter is taken like an killer because of his business, he have also a good soul. With lies he protect the girl who love from the cruel true... that he killed his uncle Slick. I m so curious what will happen in the next book to see how it's ending this love story.
