Simon Christopher Francis Furman is a British comic book writer who is best known for his work on Hasbro/Tomy's Transformers franchise, starting with writing Marvel's initial comic book to promote the toyline worldwide, as well as foundations for both Dreamwave Production's and IDW Publishing's takes on the Generation 1 minifranchise.
(Note: This review is based on the Til all are one Compendiums which offered through the Kickstarter) This book finishes strong but getting there is bit of a journey. Several issues of this collection feature characters introduced just to make sure they are featured. During times like this it feels more like a toy commerical than even the original show did. Still, once the Unicron storyline goes into full swing it becomes an intense ride which makes the whole series worth reading.
