While this story is a good idea, it was very poorly written. This book isn't even fit for publication. Not only for the obvious spell check typographical errors that need editing, but for the fact that the author repeatedly forgets where the characters are in the scenes. It's incredibly irritating to read. All of that aside, the characters are incredible personalities. I think if this book is rewritten with complete editing, it could be a very good read. As it is, it's not recommended.

This was one of those addictive books I couldn't put down. I'm living in my dark romance era and this book delivered and fed my craving. The twisted plot and intense chemistry the MCs shared made for a thrilling ride.
I love my MMCs morally-grey and obsessed Silas was all that and more. The lengths he went to for his desires had me gasping and kicking my feet with excitement.
Our FMC Lyra is not a weak and helpless damsel in distress. She's a fiery fighter.

It was engaging, the characters of Lyra and Silas fiery with their chemistry, his possessiveness, her attitude, his competence, the suspense. One or two dropped threads (e.g. Lyra SOS called Zara and she was going to come see Lyra, but the next time she shows up, she’s in a club, not at Lyra’s). Overall a good, suspenseful read from a new-to-me author!
