This book talks about everything! It shares thoughts on purchasing art at auctions, thrift stores, galleries, and art fairs. There is so much I want to know about art and decorating and this one came just in time. I just bought a new house and truly don’t know how I want to decorate it.

There are tips like how to create a wall mural and how to decorate a stairwell. The photos throughout the book are very helpful too. I can’t imagine an art book without photos and this one delivers on almost every page. It spells things out simply for the layperson. Perfect! This went straight onto my bookshelf now that I have read it. It looks artsy! 🎨

This was a lovely book. I really enjoyed the pictures except everything came through on my phone in black and white - maybe this was intentional? Idk but color would have enhanced the experience. Comprehensive coverage with interviews (including my long time follow Young House Love), exploring every medium, even covering art acquisition.

This is a good general guide to finding, buying, and decorating with art. There are great tips about where to find art and how to figure out your style. I liked the tips about hanging art and colors. Its practical and also fun. There are many creative ideas to get ideas for decorating with art. I received this ARC in return for my unbiased review. All opinions are my own.

This isn't your average coffee table book where the cover is the best part. I read this in one sitting. It's packed with great tips and insights about the art world, and debunks a lot of what can make collecting feel so intimidating. I've followed her gallery on IG for a while and adore her taste, so I'm not surprised that this book was a beautifully curated home run.

This book is great for anyone really interested in starting to collect art. It does a great job of demystifying so many different elements of the art buying process: purchasing, commissioning, insuring, maintaining. It talks about different styles, media, and price points. It’s a super practical guide. The photography is lovely too, but that’s secondary. The main value is the content

I’ve never seen another book like this. It’s so informative — and beautiful. It would make a great house warming or graduation gift for someone that was in a life transition.
