I understand character backstories are important to the overarching plot, but the reality is, this was a significant pause in the story. I believe it will pay dividends in the end, but for now, this was a weaker volume that was predictable. There is a lot to Kojiro, but I need more.

Kohei is a tragic character, and I thought their fight would go on much longer. I wish he played a greater part because he interested me early on when he was hopping from tree to tree. I hope he comes back, but I doubt it.
