I’m forced to mate with my secret baby girl’s daddy. Our mate bond was forbidden, so he rejected me cruelly. I left, but the Mate Lottery forces me back to the small town of my youth. Where it’s announced that my plus-size curves are officially his to do with as he pleases.
I’m desperate to escape this place, which only reminds me of the pain he caused me. But I’m not allowed. The lottery draws my name as his mate, and it’s binding. I have to endure the raw pain as his claws tear open my barely closed wounds.
Our close quarters amplify my scent, drawing him closer. When night falls, his rough touch breaks my restraint. When darkness comes, his gentle strokes reduce my self-control to dust. My body is his. My baby is his. He controls me completely.
Will the Alpha finally claim his broken mate?
The Silvercreek Lottery Mates have been outcasted, rejected, and bullied. But at the end of their cruel journeys, the Alphas who hurt them the most heal the wounds they’ve caused and give them the babies they’ve wanted all along…
Hi there! I’m Layla Silver, and I’m so happy to see you here :) I’m a mom of three adorable kids and after all these years, still wildly in love with my awesome and hard-working husband. I LOVE to write about hot shifters, whether Wolves, Bears, or Dragons, who are looking for their mates and will do anything to protect them no matter what comes their way. When I’m not writing or spending time with my family (which is pretty rare, but I’m not complaining!), I like to be in the mountains chasing paranormal dreams.

I'm giving this one star because I wanted to smack both Thomas and Fiona upside the head. They are so stupid! Also, still not loving the word fat in the title. Summary: Thomas and Fiona spent a magical summer together six years ago. Thomas promised Fiona they would tell the pack about their relationship when he got back from a training thing. See Fiona is the child of a human father and a werewolf mother (not clear if they were mates). The next night she shows up and he's all "You were just a summer fling. Practice, etc." Breaks her heart. She finds out she's preggers AND her dad finds out (he hates werewolves. Yes, go figure). So she flees and gives birth. The lottery from the first book apparently drew Fiona back as well. She's been lying about her daughter's age (which changes in the book) so no one guesses Thomas is the father. Of course, the lottery (completely different from the one in the first book) matches Fiona and Thomas. They can't get out of it, yadda yadda yadda. At least the trials are better. Designed for them to work as a couple.
But THEN we get to chapter 4. Only four chapters in! Here it is revealed that that night six years ago, Fiona's dad showed up at Thomas's cabin and threatened to poison Fiona is Thomas didn't break up with her. He had eyes in the pack. If he told Fiona, the dad would know and he'd kill her. So Thomas broke Fiona's heart. Instead of pulling her in the cabin where they were alone (ALONE!), tell her the truth, and make a plan. Also, maybe check for listening devices before she arrives? Or... you know, KILL the human threatening your mate. Surely werewolf beats human. But to add to this stupidity... Thomas says nothing to the Alpha or his best friend/future alpha. No, "hey, crazy human dude says he has spies in the pack." Just keep this traitor a secret for freaking six years! May have some pertinent info for the Alpha there, Thomas. I don't think the traitors working for dad are ever revealed, either. Kinda important info!
Especially since Fiona's dad is staging anti-shifter protests and appears to be stalking the pack with cameras, etc. (Surely Luna would have a spell for that. Or was the protective spell in the last book only for evil magical wolves from Chesholm Pack?). Anyway, jerkface still won't tell Fiona what happened. It's been six years! The pack is under threat! She is in danger. Tell her! It takes six more chapters before he finally does.
Before he finally does, it's gotten worse! Because it turns out Fiona knows it's her dad. He leaves a threatening note and she does nothing. Doesn't tell anyone. Girl, you are in a pack of werewolves! Who are in danger! And as an alpha, I would be freaking pissed to find out my second in command had kept very vital information secret for six years!
Anyway, Fiona tries to run. Daughter gets captured by evil dad and she takes Thomas to go rescue her. Dad gets caught and suddenly there's a council that will judge him. Did it not exist six years ago? Then the worse part is that the "epilogue" is just the next chapter. No time jump. Literally could just be chapter 20. Flames of rage on the side of my face.

How heartbreaking to be rejected with no real reason, and to go on the run from your own father to protect yourself and child. Then to be forced to go back to the pack to the very man that rejected you. I enjoyed Thomas and Fiona’s story very much. Every detail of the story went together so seamlessly. It was sweet, heartbreaking, scary towards the end but they triumphed in the end as I hoped they would.
Thomas and Fiona have a lot to overcome before they can even think of having a HEA. This book has it all; betrayal, misunderstandings, secrets and of course, love. This is a wonderful story and although there is an ongoing thread through the books, each one has its own happy ending. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
This story tells of young love and the danger from a non wolf, but things get bad when her farther and his folowers comes to take her and her dauther to kill them on a live vido to expose them to the world.I would like to say thankyou for all your hard work and may fourtune smail on you alway from a bookworm that loves to read
That was shocking about what happened 2 her mom but will she find out the truth about what happened 2 her? After 6 yrs of being separated not by choice can they find a way 2 get back on track again? It was really good!! I was really surprised how the enemies but they will have 2 work 2gether.
Well created story line and solid character and plot development. Enjoyable read... devoured in one sitting. Characters work well together and overall solid story telling.
The second book I have read. I loved Thomas and Fiona's story, Little Maise so very sweet, Her father a really bad man came in between them. I was hooked and I couldn't put it down I'm hooked on the series and just starting James and Ruby's story,
