Kassanna is a strong believer in love at first sight and happily ever afters. After meeting her husband in November and marrying him three months later in February the two have survived and mostly enjoyed every adventure life has thrown their way. Ten years, two children, a couple of dogs and a wild turkey that came out the woods and somehow adopted them - later- the adventure continues.

Writing has always been her passion but fate sometimes has other roads that must first be taken . Navigating the road less traveled was not only unexpected but in the end extremely rewarding. Her books are mainly contemporary romance but she has delved into the paranormal and plans on expanding into other areas as the ideas come to her. Right now she is enjoying life and seeing her work come into fruition make it that much more pleasurable especially when her books make others smile. Kassanna wouldn't have it any other way.

it’s a reckoning and reunion all in one

Loubels been holding on for long years - holding on to hope, love, and life changing secrets. He’s tired of just holding on - he wants to hold her, his mate. But Kiele has things and people she’s running from that prevents her from being free - fear, shame, guilt, duty, loyalty, family. Loubel isn’t waiting any longer and she has to face it all.

Malachi is hell bent on human domination but doesn’t mind splicing and adding some shifter dna for enhancement. He has a twisted mercenary who only wants to please him and become the top assassin by taking out the current one, Kiele. Only, he doesn’t know with this assignment he’s bitten off more than he can chew.
This book was action packed!

We pick back up with Kiele being back in Betaille with Loubel planning to take out Darcel but they get stuck with Karma as well. The assassin sent after her is a few screws short and really has no clue at what he’s doing but we do get good information on just who he is. The next one I’m not really sure who it will be about but I’m really wanting to read back on Roar and what Seri is up to when they find out the baby is not his.

Tangled webs

Time for more people to show their cards. Miles and Loubel were good for each other. I still don't really understand the reason Darecel wasn't claimed and how his dad could watch him from afar and not acknowledge him.

Author Kassanna is the Queen of putting shifters from different species together and making it freaking work!!!!

Alpha Snake Shifter Loubel Teche was always a bit of a mystery to me, he kicked a$$ but had very little to say. Heck a lot of the other shifters had very little to say to him but his own clan, but in Book 6 "Pack (Pack Rules - Volkshire Book" our picture becomes crystal clear. Loubel is a loner for a reason and that reason made her appearance in the last Book Kiele a Boar shifter makes her return and with it, she has an enemy on her heels wanted to kill her. That's not the only thing here they have a son (Darcel) whom Kiele's parents have been raising and believe their daughter never knew who the father was.

Loubel is damn excited that his mate is back but for how long and since Kiele is no longer undercover as a Shadow Shifter, she knows that trouble will follow her and she knows only one man can protect her and that is her mate Loubel. Loubel will kill anybody that tries to bring harm to his mate or his son, the ultimatum is on the table now, Loubel demands Kiele either tell her parents about them and he is the father of Darcel or he will. Kiele makes it perfectly clear she is there to stay and reclaim her family that she had given up but before these two can ride off into the sunset, they will have to come together and destroy an assassin determined to kill her who has been sent by his boss in this whole grand scheme, Malachi.

The other sticky situation is telling their son, they are his parents. Now talk about an emotional and heart rending experience, especially since Darcel is led to believe his mommy died and his father is unknown.

Another amazing story in this series, that keeps getting better and better. The twists and turns are fantastic. The emotional aspect in these stories keeps an exceptional balance through out each book. The author Kassanna knows how to write a story and keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what will happened next.

Ok sooooooooo after I read Omega I kinda took a step back from Kassanna. In my opinion Omega shoulda came as the first book in the series, then Scar, Kuma, Fangs and so on and so forth u get me rite? Book 6 ended with Robbie and Colin's kid coming in for the big Pack Christmas and then all of a sudden we have Omega followed by Misere. To say I lived in the land of confusion would be an understatement. However........ I still love ur writing and the series and everything to do with the Clans. I'm hoping to get more info on whut Colin said to convince Kiele to do as she did for as long as she did and my biggest question is how da hell did Loubel survive with Kiele being gone for so long? From Scar all da way down to Percel, all these shifters tend to lose it when a mate can't be seen, touch, smelled or heard ya feel me? I'm not happy with Seri cuz I will say it again Kuma is my fav!!!!! I guess I'll just have to wait and see where her loyalties are.

This is the one. The story is finally coming together for me and the authors' narrative is a lot tighter in this one. So much so I think a re-rating is in order for the previous installments I've reread over the past week or so. I hope ROAR is even better. Also...Colin is hella messy, bless his heart.

Excellent story.

I loved the long lost love story. Loubel turned out to be a really good guy. I did have a question about the plot of this couple's story. SPOILER**********

In all the other stories the matings could be smelled immediately after. Why couldn't Kiele's parents smell the mating or Loubel's scent on her?
