Fox grew up in a small mining community on the outskirts of Edinburgh, but absconded when he reached his teen years and, after moving around for a few years, he finally settled in Glasgow. He has been a passionate reader since he was a young child and even today he often carries a book with him everywhere he goes. Fox is a man of many loves, though, these include music, painting and wildlife/landscape photography. He recently signed to Vamptasy Publishing.
