Rudra was my love, and so was I for him, until I came to know that everything was just a game.
Emotions and blood share a sacred bond, where the thickness of blood matters in the emotions that run through the nerves.
Mine was the love, eternal love, and his was the revenge, deadly revenge.
Those two months were the most blissful of my life when I felt his love pouring over every bit of me. I was wet in the ocean of his love to the core that it did not take me to think twice to submit all of myself to him. To the extent that the title of the Princess, daughter of King Rajvardhan and Queen Abhishree, and pride of Mahabalesgarh, did not matter to me.
I gave all of myself to him on that particular night. His love made me submit to the extent that I forgot that doing this before marriage would be considered a sin.
The night was long, eventful, and tiring, and I realised that by the state I was in the morning. The naked self, broken bangles, and a messed-up bed.
And, I was not alone to witness it. The whole Empire knew what happened between me and Rudra. My family was shaken to the core, and I was broken to know that he left me just with a letter.
"A scar your family gave to me and a scar I gave to your family"
And, I was shattered to know that everything was just a plot for revenge.
My tears did not stop for weeks. I couldn't believe I could do that. How could I go deeper into him so that I did not think about my family, their reputation, and pride?
He ruined me, my life, and my family. The woman was considered the delicate flower of the family's pride, and he burned it by simply plucking it.
But this was not to be done. Not with me, not with anyone, and I made up my mind to extend the invitation of my ceremony to choose a suitor for marriage to his King, his Uncle, an eighty-year-old man searching for a young bride to produce heirs. And to taste his food. The Revenge.
One of the best reads of mine from an desi author, no book ca beat this one in spice, romance and emotions.
A historical romance where Princess of Mahabhaleshgarh Nandini is in love with a rival as well as the best friend of her brother Rudra.
The story comprises of various different aspects of human emotions where you can see the characters as real person because of their flaws which make them humans.
The characters are complex in their own ways, Rudra the mmc, is quite a emotionally reserved as well as unreachable character. His firm believs and kind nature towards his people make him stand out. Nandini, the fmc, is a kind, beautiful and curious soul. She is stubborn as hell and can do anything to protect her people.
Lastly, I want to end my note with an appreciation towards the writing style of author which is easy to read as a begnnier and just love the how she describes the emotions of both the individuals.
I assumed I would be reading historical desi romance. I know this book has smut but I never knew there was only smut throughout the book. For every single chapter, there is a make-out session or more. Where is the storyline? The make-out sessions have much more depth than the book itself.
I accept that Rudra is attractive and genuinely caring and loving towards Nandani. But, I really dislike the constant miscommunications between them, especially when it seems like they’re finally okay. I also can’t stand how he walks away from her after their arguments, only for things to end with a make-out session as they attempt to solve the misunderstandings.
The best read for me so far in 2025, Am glad author reached out to me for this book otherwise I would have missed my best read,
I have read so many Indian author books but this,oh god this was different very nicely written, even when the book is historical drama.
At the beginning I was so so angry with Rudra and was so in love with Nandani🌹.
Nandani is not some normal shy, timid princess .Shes fierce, strong, witty and focused. The way she stood for herself even after the mistakes she did,the way she found the solution to protect her family, even when her head was filled with questions was so commendable. No am not against the thought of her forgiving Rudra, that clearly showed how strong she is🌹.
I was really angry with Rudra character in the beginning but it takes a lot of courage for a man to accept his mistakes & correct those mistakes especially for a man who’s a king.He was fed lies his whole life, when he got to know the truth the way he gave up on everything broke my heart but the way he came back just for her made me realise what a love can do to a person.
This book defined How a love can Make a person also Destroy a person at the same time.
Her family ,the way they welcomed forgetting every wrong thing he did with their daughter and was there for him when he needed them spoke volume.
Okay there was this scene which got me f’ing screaming my lungs, when he got her footprints on his shirt on the day of his yagya and she said him to change it but he wore that shirt and went infront of everyone even infront of people in his kingdom.Guys he’s a king “A fiercely strong king”that was the most hottest thing I have ever read.
The way Rudra took care of Nandani after all the sessions🫠.The way he was clinging to her ,craving her 🤌🏻.question to the author where to find out this beast who’s so soft when needed only for her😭.
The spice it’s on next level ,never ever I imagined I will read and will get to know some really interesting things from historical drama. This is coming from a history subject hater trust me when I say this ,if you haven’t read this book yet you’re missing big time.
Firstly thank you to the author for considering me and sending me this review copy! This book is a solid 4.8/5 ⭐ for me! This was my second read on the historical fantasy romance genre and I have to say it's lovely! It's so so good that I can't explain how many times I giggled while reading this book!
The book started with a thrill, so good that you will be hooked to the book from the first chapter only! I couldn't stop myself from turning the pages! I feel blessed to receive a paperback after its publication! The world building was really impressive and immersive!
I loved our FMC's inclination to her own family and how she was strong-willed and brave! The father - daughter bond made my heart filled with warmth! 💓 The romance and tension between our FMC and MMC was so steamy and lovely that I got butterflies in my tummy while reading it. 🙈💕
Our MMC Rudra - I did feel some hatred in the beginning towards him for how he used Nandini as his revenge's collateral damage! That was a very cruel thing to do! But eventually how he realised his mistake and his feelings towards Nandini was very interesting to read! Yes!!! OUR MMC CONQUERED A KINGDOM TO GET MARRIED TO THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, OUR FMC!!! That scene was beautiful and gave me goosebumps! 🙈💕 Rudra was a man written by woman and I am smitten by his character!!! 🙈💕
The storm, the tenderness, the clash between the leads—ah, it’s electric. Rana Rudra Dev Singh—just saying his name feels like power itself. And Nandani—only she could bring this man, this unshakable force, down to his knees. He despised her parents, yet loved her with a fire that burned through every boundary. He shattered her heart, yet claimed it as his own. Everything in this book speaks to me. Everything this author writes is magic.
Rudra and Nandani are carved into my heart, their tale far more than a simple romance or a neatly tied happily-ever-after. We speak of true love as if it knows no conditions, yet this story whispers a harder truth—love, too, has its borders, its fragile lines that even passion cannot cross.
This book showed me how love can be both the making of a person and their undoing, all at once. I would highly recommend this book to any reader who loves reading - dark romance, spicy, enemies - to - lovers, king and queen romance, political intrigue and historical fantasy romance tropes!
This book is an intoxicating blend of power play, passion, and poetic prose. It’s not just a romance, it’s a battlefield of control, seduction and fate. Every chapter pulses with intensity, pulling you deeper into a world where dominance isn’t cruel, and submission isn’t weakness, it’s mutual surrender.
The chemistry between Rudra and Nandini is off the charts equal parts raw, lyrical, and haunting. Their connection is laced with unspoken pasts, emotional wounds, and a constant tug-of-war between desire and restraint. The plot is bold and unapologetic, the writing lush and layered with meaning.
I was hooked from page one. This isn’t your average love story; it’s a dark, sensual dance between fire and steel. And I loved every second of it.
welll.. this review is from the time when I was a wattpad girlie 👹. and rudra nandini was a perfect blend of everything plot. royalty. smut. responsibility. everything 🔥 I don't know if it's still there in wattpad Or delected(I'm not a wattpad girlie anymore) it's a very beautiful story rana ji toh pyaar the mere 😭❤
This book has my whole heart with the capital H The rage, love, confront between main leads ufff RANA RUDRA DEV SINGH the name has power and NANDANI she is enough for this man to be on his knees he hated her parents but love her he broked her heart but make her his too I love everything about this book and everything about this author writes Am I obsessed with her book? Yessss Am I love RUDRA Nandani? A big yessss Am I gonna read it hundreds of times??? Yessss
This book swept me right into its world from the very first chapter. Nandani instantly stood out as a heroine who refused to fade into the background. She’s such a person who stood with her family even if it means to sacrifice herself just to save her family and her kingdom...yet carries herself with a kind of quiet authority that commands respect. She faced so many challenges yet she chose to be strong!!! She was betrayed and her taking revenge was one of the best things!!!
Rudra was a harder character for me to warm up to. He is a thought Man but he has a soft corner for Nandani and he loves her yet some misunderstanding makes things complicate between them in the beginning but then things started getting normal when the truth was revealed!!! Even he is the best king for his kingdom!!! Some scenes gave me goosebumps and I was totally impressed!!!
One thing I loved was how the author explored both the beauty and the danger of love. It wasn’t just romance for the sake of romance but there were moments that tested loyalty, trust, and forgiveness in ways that felt very human. The family dynamics were another strong point and there’s a quiet strength in how the people around them choose to support, rather than judge.
There were some moments which made me cry for Nandani, and at some moment I was totally so proud of her!! There were some scenes which shocked me and blushed (SO MUCH).
I never read this kind of historical romance with such a tension which made me up whole night!!!! THIS BOOK IS A CHEF'S KISS TBH!!! every single sentence is worth reading and my time 😭🫶🏻❤️
It’s more than just a love story, it’s about growth, redemption, and the quiet ways people can change each other’s lives. I closed the book feeling like I’d just experienced something complete and memorable and I already want to revisit it. I want to read this book for the first time again 🥺😭
There are books you read, and then there are books that live with you. Rudra Nandini is definitely the latter for me.
I went in expecting a simple historical romance, but what I got was a storm of betrayal, revenge, heartbreak, and the kind of love that makes you believe in forever.💌
Rudra is a character who made me feel everything. I hated him when he broke Nandini, when his revenge made her collateral damage. But the way he pieced her back together with patience, care, and an intensity that only true love carries completely wrecked me. And then healed me.
He set the bar impossibly high. Because tell me, how often do you find a man willing to leave behind everything he spent his whole life fighting for… just to be with the woman he loves?
Nandini, on the other hand, is not just a princess in a palace. She’s bold, strong, loyal, and refuses to be silenced. Her fire, her stubbornness, her love for her family, especially her love for her brother made me admire her more.
The romance? A slow burn that simmers with tension and explodes with passion. It’s messy, it’s painful, it’s magical.
And yes, it gave me butterflies, blushes, and tears in equal measure.
My absolute favorite scene has to be the one where Dadisa finds the "ornament🌚" in Nandini’s room. I was reading it while in the hospital and had to choke back laughter, I probably looked like a clown trying not to burst out giggling. 😂
Rudra Nandini is easily the best historical romance I’ve read. It’s a story that lingers , full of betrayal, healing, and the kind of love that conquers kingdoms.
If you want a book that will make you smile, cry, swoon, and believe in love all over again, pick this up.💗
Rudra Nandani out of the MHU series, is hands down my all comfort zone. I started with Aishwariya’s story, and from there, I got completely pulled into the world... Honestly, how can one not? The characters, the depth, the drama, the love… everything felt so real, so personal.
The writing style balances drama and emotion so damn well! It’s dramatic without being cheesy, emotional without being forced. The dialogues especially carry the emotional tension brilliantly. Take my word for it — don’t overthink it. If you want a romance that hits hard and actually means something, that's it. JUST READ IT. You’ll thank me later.
It’s not just a book series to me, it’s something I genuinely connected with on a deeper level. That attachment has never left. When MHU was taken down because of some petty, baseless complaints, it felt like a personal loss. It was disheartening to see something so meaningful get erased so unfairly...
But now, looking back, there’s a certain satisfaction in knowing that the story didn’t end there.... it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves.. Our Author is now officially publishing the saga and honestly, I’d love to see the faces of those who tried to tear it down.
The thought of finally owning these stories in physical form feels unreal- Filling my shelves with this saga is going to be a dream come true. Despite all the setbacks, she’s come back stronger and I couldn’t be prouder. Watching her publish the book now feels like watching a well deserved victory. Always rooting for her, always thankful for the stories she’s given us. All my love and support to Author <3 CAN'T WAIT! (sorry for yapping too much though)
I still remember reading this book a few years ago- it completely stole my heart. The story starts with Rudra betraying Nandani because he wants revenge for his father’s death. But Nandani doesn’t back down; she decides to take revenge by marrying his uncle, Maharaja Surgami Dev Singh of Suryagarh.
And Rudra? He won’t sit quietly. He literally wins a kingdom for her! One of my favorite scenes is when he comes back from the battle, bloodied and bruised, sword in hand dripping with blood, and says, “The Princess of Mahabaleshgarh, is promised to the King of Suryagarh. I am the King of Suryagarh.” 😩🧎🏻♀️ That moment still gives me chills. And there are so many more scenes I loved!
I really admire how Nandani stands up for herself and her family, even if it means going against Rudra. Their story is slow burn with so much tension and chemistry. The other characters added a lot of depth and love to the story especially Nandani’s parents, Agastya and Ranvijay. Can’t wait to re-read their books! 💘
The writing could’ve been a little better, and the smut felt a bit too much at times. But overall, if you like historical romance, enemies-to-lovers, and slow burn, this book is definitely for you!
I picked up Rudra Nandini because it was heavily hyped on Wattpad and two of my closest bookworms told me I’d like it. So obviously, I went in with pretty high expectations.
And honestly? The idea of the story is good. The outline is interesting, and some parts really started off strong. I get why people loved it.
But… it didn’t fully work for me.
There were quite a few scenes that felt over-explained, like the moment was good but the more it was stretched, the more it lost its meaning. Some things just didn’t need that much justification.
What really bothered me were certain scenes where wrong behavior was explained and justified, but the reasons didn’t feel valid at all. And still, the narrative expected us to accept it. The feminist in me had a hard time with that. I didn’t like how women were often shown putting their entire lives and comfort aside just to make their husbands comfortable even when they were clearly wrong and this was brushed off as “reality.”
I want to say this clearly though: this is just my experience. Every reader is different, and every story hits people differently. I respect the love this book gets, even if it didn’t completely click for me.
Overall, I don’t regret reading it, but I also didn’t love it the way I thought I would.
I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this book moved me so deeply I had to. The author's ability to paint a picture with her words is incredible. I found myself completely swept away, visualizing every scene and feeling every emotion because the way author writes with so much detailing and description just touches my heart ♥. The book is an absolute masterpiece. I've never read anything that has made me feel so deeply. The author has a magical way with words, painting such a vivid picture that I wasn't just reading i was living every moment alongside the characters. I found myself completely immersed in their world, feeling their joy, their struggles, and their triumphs as if they were my own. Each page was a new discovery, a new emotion, and a new reason to keep turning the pages late into the night. It's rare to find a book that can transport you so completely, but this one does it effortlessly. Thank you for writing a book that I didn't just read, but that I truly experienced
I found this book accidentally in 2023 that time I'm new to Wattpad this book is my first Book because that time it's trending and I don't know there is something smut thing exists in book line and a got totally whipped by this author and become a loyal one to her still reading her book she is a very hardworking girl and her sultan bleeding rose is my favourite I read that 8 time. never make bad coment about her work she is really talented girl people saying bad things about her "if you can't say nice to someone then don't say at all ". All the best miss lovelyen 🫶
This book is chef’s kiss! An amazing story with great character development as the plot progresses. I absolutely loved it. Thank you to the author for not including any red flag characters. I first saw this book on Instagram, read it in single sitting , loved it, and have reread it multiple times because I still can’t get over the fact that finally female not dumb , Seductress and not subjected to any form of SA.
If you want some desi historic romance book then you should definitely read this book. so basically it's been a long time since I read this book on Wattpad but I recently bought the paperback and read it again, and Guess what? , I felt the same emotions again like when I read it for the first time. It is literally one of my favourite Desi historical romance books. The character development, emotion explanation and steamy level is so so good.
A solid 3.8. It was upto all my expectations even better at some level, but , the story was a bit stretched. There was a lot of spice ooooffff.( I loved it)
And I realised miscommunication is not my trope...apart from that it had so many hilarious scenes that totally made up for the miscommunication hence it's almost a 4 star for me..
Must read..ps i received really cute and adorable custom bookmarks and an author signed copy...
when I first saw you in your kingdom ... deep down, I knew. ‘This girl—she’s going to be your undoing, Rudra. ’And yet, losing to you has been the greatest victory of my life,”❤️✨️ ~Rudra This book has become my comfort zone, countless time have read it and each time felt like reading the first time when i read it on wattpad.
I find Rudra Nandani to be a pretty attractive choice for those who love historical romance with palace intrigue, power and psychological depth Geometry Vibes. M Lovely cleverly builds a conflict-filled love story, starting with a revenge strategy, gradually turning into true love - an emotional journey full of ups and downs.
Rudra Nandani is a powerful saga, focusing on power, passion, and the resolution of hatred in a way that is both epic and visceral in X Trench Run. If this style suits you, it's worth a try but if you want something lighter, you might want to consider it first as the content can be quite heavy and the depth intense.
I read this book on Wattpad honestly author your are among few author who represents real dynamics of relationship. Everything literally everything plot ,twist , characters we can feel it to our bones . Can't wait to read other books again. Please post them somewhere soon.
The Plot was amazing... The chemistry was off the charts! And such amazing character development! Rudra.. The MAN he is! It's impossible to not fall in love with him.
The writing style was amateur... but the plot and chemistry made up for it.
JUST AMAZINGGGGGG, SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL, EACH AND EVERY SCENE WAS SOOO SOO MAGICAL... I ABSOLUTELY DEVOURED THIS BOOK IN ONE SETTING.. 💕💕 I WANT RUDRA-NANDINI KINDA LOVE, IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK??😭
