Save your money. While the message and insights are interesting, this guide could have been shortened by 75% if structured appropriately, which it was not and makes it feel very likely written by AI. Not ideal for the core audience who likely struggles with burnout and finding time for self care to have to skip through the reintroduction of the same handful of basic concepts and techniques as if the book were discussing them for the first time in order to try to extract new information. Meanwhile, the actual exercises are obscured by all of this repetition.
Excellent book about the vagal nerve and the direct impact it has on your mind and body. It’s a system connected to all the body’s other systems and you have the ability to influence it. Breathing, mindfulness, yoga, diet, and more tools are integral choices to practice for a healthy vagal tone. Very informative and full of practical advice on how to strengthen and stabilize your fortitude and wellbeing.
Our faith is what holds us in, however many applications of good tools, having that good life, even being plainly in that good state of mind. Life is nonetheless more than just a vagus nerve, but prolific steps that may be good ground steps to take, keep us drawn.
