Curiosity Killed the Cat...

...But the cat has nine lives.

Best Pig is another enjoyable installment of Bradley's "Bedtime Tales of Horror" series. Brother and sister, Billy and Michelle are determined to learn fellow competitor Marybeth's secret. How on earth does she always have the perfect pig?

Curiosity, and perhaps, greed, lead the siblings to the woman's barn where they get more than they bargained for. After witnessing something horrifying, it's up to Michelle to enact revenge.

Check out Bradley's story to see what happens when you allow your curiosity (and greed) get the better of you.

“Bedtime Tales of Horror: Best Pig” by Bradley Poage is a gruesome little tale highlighting the overboard antagonisms sometimes inherent in otherwise-friendly competitions. Michelle and her brother Billy weren’t going to sit idly by, while Marybeth wins the annual Best Pig contest once again. They plan to steal her secret pig feed, then take steps to ensure she cannot possibly win this year.

Now, I generally expect a twist at the end of Bradley’s stories, but this time I had it all figured out ahead of time, and I knew exactly how it would end. Or so I thought. Once again, Bradley is two or three steps ahead of the reader! If you enjoy your horror in small doses, with a twist at the end, welcome to “Bedtime Tales of Horror” in all its glory.

The Hunter Has Become....

The hunted AND dinner for a pen full of piglets. I've heard that pigs will eat humans once they got the taste of their blood. Suddenly beef, chicken and turkey are very appealing.

this was great! a brother and sister try to find out what a woman feeds her prize pigs. I loved the sneaking around with those two, and what happened to them, and especially the twisty ending! A must read! So much fun! :-)
