A Rebellious Spitfire . . .

When Brianna Storm discovers her illegitimacy, she abandons everything dear to her. Where she once took pride in her work, she now turns a blind eye to the thefts and destruction at the Brazilian project she manages and spends her time erotic dancing at the local bar. In reality her antics are a diversion to a threat against her family. A threat which may claim the life of an innocent soul.

An Honorable Man . . .

Jake Cooper, her former bodyguard, arrives in Brazil to fix whatever’s wrong with Brianna and get the project back on track. To do that he must take on a new role—that of her lover. Something he's reluctant to do. He's carried a torch for her since the day they met and refuses to be her plaything. But when forces beyond their control threaten not only their safety but the life of someone closely related to her, they must face their enemy together, even if to do so would destroy them both.

Storm Conquered: Storm Damages Book 4 is by Magda Alexander. This fourth book in the Storm Damages series is focused on Security man Jake and Lady Brianna. It takes place in Brazil on site of the Storm Industries project to set up wind turbines to provide electricity to this part of Brazil.
Jake had been assigned to watch over Lady Brianna Storm for the last eight years. He had worked for her brother Gabriel and had managed to keep Lady Brianna pretty much in check. However, he had never given any sign of his deep love for her, that he knew of. When Gabriel and Brianna’s brother Edward had returned from the dead, Gabriel had fired Jake because he knew all along that Edward wasn’t dead and had not told him about that. Never mind that having Edward dead kept Gabriel alive. At the same time, Brianna had learned she was not the Countesses daughter but the illegitimate daughter of only the Earl. Brianna felt she had never really belonged in the family and now knew why. If she was not legitimate, she didn’t deserve the perks that a legitimate daughter should receive. She headed back to Brazil to work on the wind turbine project and seemingly went off her rocker and started acting out.
With the project in chaos and Brianna seemingly going wild, Gabriel once again called on Jake to see if he could protect Brianna from herself and figure out what was going on with the project. Jake agreed to see what he could do with Brianna; but refused to be hired by Gabriel. He wanted to be able to use every trick he knew to calm her down and he couldn’t if he worked for Gabriel. Would Brianna accept his being back or would it just throw her really out of balance. Why was she acting like she was and who was behind all the problems at the project?

What can I say but.. amazing as usual!!!

Book 4 and I am like can this series never ever end, like ever. I need this to be like the McCarthy Family of Gansett Island by Marie Force and never end hahaha I love everyone and everyone needs a story - so please Magda, Edward and Royce need a story and that mysterious drive needs a story and more background on crazy mom is needed too - I can go on and on so this never ends!!!

So Bri is a mess as usual. She is so funny at times that I literally was like only Bri LOL Then she is serious, kind and loving and I'm like oh I love Bri. Then she is crazy and strange and down right filthy, but I'm still like I love Bri. She is a woman, she is very much I know who I am, take it or leave it, accept it or move on. I'm still confused on why she is so sexual - the female Gabriel maybe... Seems more to it than she was trying to get Jake's attention...???

Jake is a great man but one of very little words. Maybe afetr all these years he knowsx how to handle Bri but it seems like he knows something we readers don't about Bri. Yes he has carried a torch for her liek forever, but it still seemd off in a way for me... Maybe 1 book isn't enough for these complicated couple...???

Regardless I loved loved this book and cannot wait for the next book!! Of course there is no other than Gabriel but Jake was great!!!

Magda - you are great! I was hooked from book 1 and cannot wait to see what more comes our way. Congrat's and best wishes!!!

This is book number four for Storm Damages and this time the story is about Brianna Storm and Jake Cooper. It was very evident in the past Storm Damages Trilogy that Jake and Brianna has feelings for each other, they just choose to ignore and deny to avoid getting hurt.

I super love how Magda Alexander chose to write out their love story. I love how stubborn two people are, and yet so fitting for each other. This book does not have a dull moment and kept me flipping one page to the other. I love both their chemistry, the connection they have. I love the action, both in and out of bed. This book had me dragging a tissue to keep the tears at bay. and Oh! I also love it because the whole Storm family is still part of this book. There is nothing in this book that I do not love!!! except maybe the villain. :)

Congratulations Magda Alexander for writing such a beautiful book. Looking forward to read more from you!

I think my favorite part of this book was that the characters from previous books in this series were still part of this. I find I don't like it when an author calls it a series but they are completely separated from the other books in the series.
These two have some pretty explosive chemistry, that I saw brewing behind the scenes in her previous books.
I love how this series doesn't let you down as it continues on as some books you just love in the beginning start to die off as they continue on, but not this one Magda did an amazing job of keeping you on the edge of your chair and squirming throughout.
I am so happy I stumbled upon this series when it first came out and that Magda has delivered them so flawlessly.
Girls, you're going to need a hot bath and some tissues while you dive into this one.

I AM FEELING GENEROUS TODAY AND HAPPEN TO BE CRAZY ABOUT SIMPLE CLICHE BODYGUARD TROUPES LIKE THIS ONE.

OUR HERO has been holding a torch for the heroine for 8 years and this time he isn't employed by her brother and things are looking up even if he doesn't know it yet. He is an honorable man with a military background and responsible, not to mention good at what he does. Need I say more?

OUR HEROINE is a player in her own right and goes through men like yesterday's fashion. Like Jake, I believe they have been circling each other for years thus the reason she never falls for other men but just pursues them for sexual gratification.

OVERALL I wouldn't say much about this except if you are looking for bodyguard troupe stories, with the cliché predicaments, this one was nice to read.

This is the cycle, parents had their mistakes n made their children suffer, boy gets hurt n daughter won't be will her real mom.

Father never being happy with the wife n his lover being alone all her life.

People always say learn from the mistakes but we still have. Jake is the honorable man, he keep his job in serious n never pass the line until it is related to... Her

she left him for his goodness but this is not the real good for him, but glad to have a mother to turn the things upside down n let me have chance to .....

Book 5, if we really get it, will it going to tell us about Edward?

**ARC received from author**

Once again, Magda did not disappoint. From the start of Storm Damages there was an attraction between Brianna and Jake, her bodyguard. No longer working for the Storm family, Jake receives a call from Brianna's brother Gabe explaining how Brianna is in all sorts of trouble on the job in Brazil. Jake knows he can help.
There is no stopping the attraction once Jake arrives, even though they both try and fight it. This is their story and it's non-stop heat in Brazil.

Brianna Storm and Jake Cooper finally get together!!! If you have read the previous books in the Storm Damages series you knew their story would come because you could feel the sexual tension between the two even though they weren't the main characters in the story. Well we finally get what we have been waiting for. I was beyond thrilled with this story it gave us the right amount of drama and sex, the drama was something unexpected while the sex was everything you thought it would be.

I can't wait for rest of the series to come out.

I knew Brianna and Jakes's book would be a great one but wow....Magda once again you outdid yourself. I loved that Brianna was her fiesty self but that we also got to see the other, softer side of her. Jake......well let's just say yum-o. That man is just something else. I loved the conitnuous banter between them and it was nice to see the rest of the Storm family. I loved the ending you gave these two.....with what they went thru it was much deserved.
Great job Magda!!

Storm Conquered
Storm Damages #4

Amazon

I loved this book - BUT I felt like it was rushed.. I wish that it would have gone more in depth with the characters and the plot. Although we knew who they were from prior books, I wish that it would have gone a little bit further.

I would also love to hear Edward and Royce's stories - I would absolutely buy those books! Then a "Happily Ever After" of all of them :P

Storm Damages bks 1-4

The entire series was excellent and very well written; lots of intrigue, and interesting to read. Definitely adult material. However, personally, I prefer standalone books, even in a series.
The Storm family is in constant turmoil but it was necessary to read the first three books to resolve the trials and tribulations of one couple. If the entire series isn't purchased the story will never reach it's conclusion.

I was so tired of Gabriel and Elizabeth and their drama, so I'm glad the fourth book did not focus on them. I'm not sure I could've read another one. I'd been excited about the idea of Bri and Jake since the first book so I was super excited to see that this book focused on them. The result? Eh. I liked it at times, others I didn't. Maybe I just had different expectations but I didn't like this pairing as much as I thought I would.

We caught glimpses of him in previous books. Now a full book is dedicated to him and Brianna. Jake is a wonderful person and hot guy. He is serious and totally dedicated to his security task . Brianna is frivolous and a bit irritating character. However once she gets involved with Jake, she becomes more stable and ready to settle !

Me Tarzan you Jane

This read was so disappointing. The first 30 percent of this book dealt with Jake's such a man ex Navy seal that needed extra large condoms and Bri who acted like a tart to mislead everyone including Jake to her true feelings that at I nearly gave up on finishing book. Too predictable and truly boring.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

My main complaint is the repeated storyline from the first Storm series. I sometimes feel like that road is an easy out for authors...and I feel that way here.

I wish I could say more but I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

I must say that Jake stole my heart from book 1.. and his book was just perfect.. even Brianna who I think its a brat and usually a very annoying character was quite enjoyable.

The writting was good as always and loved how we see glimpses of the other characters through the whole storyline.

I really didn't think this story would be as good as Gabe and Elizabeth but I was wrong. Jake is my new hero! Bri was the definition of a brat but I'm glad she grew up in the end. It was even heartwarming to learn about her mother. Now, I really can't wait for Edwards book!

Another good book

Loved Bri and Jake's story. I liked Jake from the previous books. Loved the wild child that Bri was. Was too short for my liking, would have liked to have had an epilogue to know more of Bri and Jake's future. Hope we know more in the next book.

You could always tell from reading Gabriel and Elizabeth's story that there was something between these two. It just took a crisis to bring it out of them. Both are stubborn and pig headed which makes for a good story but not as good of one as the first three.

Another book that to me felt rushed. Not the relationship, just the story line. Too much sex towards the beginning-and it wasn't sensual. Lots of grammatical errors too that were noticeable enough that I had to stop and reread things to determine what it really was saying.
