The cover of this book makes it seem like a construction book, but it is not. It is a book about "digging." So, there are pictures of people and animals (and machines) digging in the ground. If you want to teach your children the meaning of the word, "dig," then this is an excellent choice. However, if you are looking for a book with construction vehicles, you may want to look elsewhere.

My special needs teenage son loves vehicles so I got him this book for Christmas. It's basic and not to 'over his head' but still entertaining enough to keep children's attention. Learning new words and what various things 'dig' including animals and how and why they dig.
