Rate this book
Brian is a young boy who experiences an incredible amount of abuse at the hands of his biological father as a toddler. He is removed from that environment by his estranged mother only to be abused by her a few years later when she started showing symptoms of bipolar illness. The chaos of his mother’s mental illness has him passed from foster family to foster family. All young Brian ever wants is to feel like he belongs in a family that loves him, any family. Brian’s journey takes many twists and turns, filled with promises and betrayals. He betrays his stepfather while his mother and the foster care system betray him.

Another good read

Good book to read but heart breaking, upsetting to see these things still happen, in everyday living . . .

I really liked it.

This book is a good book and really tell a story about the experience of a boys life and this disease that a lot of time goes undiagnosed until it destroys a family. It is from the words of a child's view.

Don't bother with this rubbish

This book is absolute tripe. It is badly written and has both poor spelling and grammar. Thank goodness it was only 40 pages.

Courage

This is an amazing story of just what a person can go through and survive. As a boy who came out of similar circumstances it is easy to identify.
