I never like to chuck a book that I bought, but I simply could not read this one without skipping around quite heavily.
It starts off in 1968, which is when it was written, less than 10 pages in Lilia travels back into the past while standing on a lonely road in one position while she apparently sees the life of someone she must have been in the past.
It kind of reminds me of Outlander, only this was bad. I was expecting a book set in 1968 about Lilia, not some story set in what must be before the 1700's. I love historical fiction, but that's not what I thought I was getting.
