Anniversary Murder: The epic series finale

Rate this book
A retired librarian turned detective. A chatty orange cat. A murder at an anniversary celebration in a charming seaside town full of secrets.

Mayor Thompson's thirtieth wedding anniversary party transforms from elegant celebration to crime scene when his longtime rival is found dead outside the venue. With all evidence pointing directly at the Mayor, Sheriff Miller wastes no time making an arrest, convinced he has his culprit. Jim Butterfield and his feline partner Ginger are drawn into what might be their most challenging case yet.

Complicating matters, Victor Sterling – the businessman Jim and Ginger helped put away – has been unexpectedly released from prison and returned to Oceanview Cove. Sterling's presence in town adds a troubling dimension to an already complex investigation, especially given his chilling prison visit warning to "I'll be coming for you."

Can our detective duo solve the case and determine whether Sterling's ominous return is connected to the murder, or if it signals the beginning of something far worse?

good book

This is the final book in the series and I can truly say I’ve enjoyed reading about the adventures of a talking cat and a homeowner who used to be a technically impaired librarian turned into a technically impaired detective.

Awesome ending

This one was so good. Lots of fun and plenty of snark from ginger who is one of my favorite detectives. I just wish my calico Katie could talk and be as snarky. Can't wait for the new series. Btw I am a retired librarian too.

Excellent cozy mystery

I read the entire series. Loved it in spite of early lack of interest in a talking cat. Loved Ginger and Jim. I hope to meet them in future series as cameos perhaps. Thank you Authur for writing this series. I look forward to more from you!

Loved this Adventure!

Ginger is my hero and that's all I can say about that. What a delightful way to conclude a series; however I am already in the early stages of withdrawal. Just hoping the new series is as enjoyable. Thank you, Arthur Pearce.
