JOSH My first case as the new head of a labor union just had to be the hotel empire, Devon Holidays. And the worst part? The man I hooked up with a month ago is the CEO-to-be. And as if that and the explosive sex we had isn’t enough, the union’s demands are turned down because of him. Ugh. But I’m not one to give up, so when an opportunity to attend a fancy Gala pops up, I grab it with both hands. My plan is simple—use any means necessary to find dirt on Alistair Devon and force him to pressure his empire into accepting the union’s terms. The only problem? I can’t find anything of use, and that charming asshole won’t hear me out unless I agree to go out for lunch with him.
ALISTAIR Hooking up with the union rep trying to take down your company sucks. I had no idea who the sassy brat was when I decided he was mine for the night, but mistakes happen. I just need to get over him. Except that I can’t. He’s stubborn and righteous, ready to kick my ass despite who I am. He challenges me at every turn and even ambushes me at my succession event. Color me impressed. He’s trouble. I shouldn’t get involved with him any further, but it’s impossible to resist the way he makes me want to put him in his place. So I decide to play with him for a bit, just until I get bored. There’s just one issue with that—I didn’t expect to enjoy Josh’s company as much as his body.
Negotiation Tactics is an MM enemies-to-lovers romance about a stubborn Union Rep and the billionaire CEO he must take down. It features two men who can’t stop thinking about each other after an explosive hookup, high steam, light d/s, some spanking fun, dirty talking, a brat, a pinch of obsessiveness, underhanded tactics, and a snake birthday party. HEA guaranteed.
Overall, I liked the concept. I liked the fighting back and forth and the snark. I liked both characters; I thought, even with their flaws, they were good and enjoyable to read. I think they worked through issues and didn’t leave us hanging much. I loved Josh’s tenacity and integrity. I loved how Alastair wanted change and finally got the courage to enforce it. I liked the humour and the language used. The author had a good way with words, and it was enjoyable.
But…
The story is a little repetitive in the first third, especially Alastair talking about how his dad won’t listen to his business ideas. I felt like each chapter started with a small paragraph reminding us what has happened so far, which makes it feel like you’re just rereading the same bits.
The third act break-up could have been better. I knew it was going to happen, so I was pretty much prepared for it. It was emotional, and I think it triggers the right reaction from you, but it’s over and done so fast with no in-depth detail. We don’t get to hear Alastair’s argument with his dad or how he hashed out his plans to make the company better. The meeting with Josh was quick. The celebrations with the union members weren’t really described well. It all felt a little rushed, and considering that aside from the romance, this was what the rest of the story was about, it was a little disappointing to have it so rushed.
I’m also not a fan of an epilogue that is mostly just sex. I want to see that character growth. How did they get past what happened? How did they get to their goals? How did the parents take it? What happened with his mother? These are just a few questions I would have preferred to another sex scene.
It’s a guaranteed HEA, and I think they both deserve that. I enjoyed the journey for the most part, but I feel like I’d have liked an extra chapter or two towards the end, giving more depth.

After meeting each other for the first time at a bar, Alistair and Josh work off their bad day with each other in one of the VIP bedrooms.
‘Thanks, blondie, you were a decent fuck. Wish you all the best, and no, you can’t have my number. Adios.’
Josh is the brat type.
4 weeks later
Josh is the head of the Oregon Workers First Labor Union.
Alistair is junior partner at Devon Holidays.
They haven’t forgotten each other.
‘Yeah, buddy, no shit, I’m shook, too. Of course the evil billionaire I’m here to take down turns out to be the sexy dude from the club who gave me the fucking of my life. Why the hell not?’
There’s a fancy gala . We meet an ex of Alistair’s and I’m getting a vibe she’s gonna cause trouble.
Alistair has a party and Josh uses his invite to infiltrate Alistair’s bedroom.
“Oh, Joshua,” he purrs, making me tingle all over. A fiery need to taste him overtakes me, to touch him, to make him go crazy like he did on the night we hooked up. “Were you snooping around for blackmail material, hmm?” He leans in, grazing my ear with his lips. “How naughty of you.”
Sooo that went from Lovers to enemies then back to lovers .
Alistair has a confrontation with his father and now thinks Josh has manipulated him to get his way in the negotiations.
Josh is left feeling confused, betrayed and manipulated.
Angry cruel words are exchanged.
It eventually all gets sorted . Just remember- communication is the key!
‘I love him to pieces, and I can feel in his every word, every touch and intake of air that I am his world.’

Well, this started out with a bang! It was a fun read, but it reached a plateau for me towards the middle. I wanted Alistair to stand up to his father, but I honestly understand why it was so hard. I enjoyed Alistair and Josh as a couple, but I would have liked to see more of them as a couple. The whole Union case against Devon Holidays was very important to the story, and I'm glad we got to see how it all played out. The story was pretty lighthearted but also a bit tense, because they were on opposing sides of the case. I really enjoyed Alistair's dorkyness and how his mouth ran away with him when he wanted to impress Josh. I enjoyed Josh's brattyness and stubbornness, and he was a great opponent for Alistair.
All-in-all an enjoyable read about a billionaire and a Union Rep finding their HEA after some twists and turns and some snooping.
4.5/5 I'm not usually big on the billionaire trope, but I enjoy the books these authors have written. I really enjoyed it! I liked that the plot followed the union case all the way through. I was nervous about the whole CEO/union rep aspect, but was happy with how it played out. Looking forward to more in this series.
Negotiation Tactics is the first book in the Billionaire Temptations series. This is the story of Josh and Alistair. Alistair is the billionaire CEO to be of Devon Holidays and Josh is the head of the Labour Union trying to negotiate a contract. I loved the characters and chemistry between them. Both guys have struggles with living up to what they think they should be. I really enjoyed the story and can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book.
Loved the book. Alistair had been trying to please his father his whole life and breaking from that habit is not easy. He did at the end and when it really mattered. Josh was a sassy thing that knew himself and what he wanted. He tried to resist Alistair at first but he just couldn't
Another day, another ARC. Here's Aria Clark and JF Miev's "Negotiation Tactics." It's the first novel in their new series, Billionaire Temptations.

These two were sooo similar. They both had big shoes to fill, big expectations to reach, big parents to please. Of course, depending on the family, said parent responds to life's stresses, set-backs, and small victories..better than others. Just as one might put helping people and falling in love in similar winning columns, whereas others have differing values on those victories.
Because falling in love, finding someone who makes you happy and makes you want to be a better person, just a victory, a win. It's something to be happy about and to celebrate. And Alistair and Joshua made each other happy, made each other better. Even if it was...a lot to comprehend during all of life's other dramas. So of course they had each other's back during said dramas.
And of course someone (*cough* Alistair *cough*) made sure that he would have his crush in his life more and more while he figured out his big feelings. Surprise lunch dates, ice cream kisses, chocolate fountains, birthday parties for pet snakes. You know, the usual. ;)
And of course someone (*cough Joshua *cough*) fucking swooned.
Okay, so it wasn't all that simply. I cried, you cried, we all cried. But you get it.
Trigger Warnings: recent health scares, capitalism capitalizing, and more.
This was a very entertaining book. The chemistry between Josh and Alistair was off the charts from the moment they met, and the sizzle never wavered. The more time they spent together, the more they found they had in common on a personal level, and even during the negotiations between Josh as the union rep and Alistair for the hotel dynasty, there was mutual respect and understanding between them as their personal and business relationships moved forward. All was going well until both let themselves get so caught up in their heads and the self talk that it blew everything apart. Things said in the heat of the moment would have an impact in the weeks to come as one of them realized some self-truths and acted on them, eventually bringing them together again.
The progression of feelings in their personnel relationship was very natural, and the business interactions were productive and made sense from a business standpoint, irrespective of the physical involvement on a personal level. Despite accusations on both sides, I never felt either one was trying to take advantage of the other on a business level, even though disclosing the personal connections could have caused a publicity nightmare for both sides.
I was happy when the two finally talked and got back together (it was a romance, so duh), I loved Alistair’s gesture for Josh when they initially met up again in the park, and I didn’t expect the changes for Josh in the epilogue , while I thought the ending was just a perfect conclusion to the whole journey for them. I enjoyed both main characters, despised Aliatair’s dad (but we need an antagonist in the story), appreciated the side characters who supported Josh and Alistair, and was satisfied with the ending from the business side. I can definitely recommend this book and author for an interesting read.
I received an advance copy from the author and this is my voluntary review.
Explosive hook up, Lovers to Enemies to Lovers to Extreme enemies to Lovers, All fair in love & Business, High steam & d/s, spanking and steamy games, self discovery in a harsh way.
Opposite attract really brings the spice and heat to any book, but this one specifically starts out with an explosive hookup. Josh & Alistair have combustible energy with Josh's bratty attitude and Alistair's need to conquer. While they both thought this was just a one time thing.... they both can't stop thinking about each other.
Enter their "enemies era". Where they go head to head as a future CEO & union rep. Their desires in business are the opposites of what they are set out to do. This pushes their lust and steam higher as tension crawls through the next few chapters.
Each character + side characters have good backstories which ties everyone together. Both MMCs feel extreme pressure to live up to family expectations which means they are destined to fall apart again.
Sucker punch to the face during the 3rd act break up. Alistair leaves a bad taste in your mouth with his decisions and the heart break he leaves in his wake of business. ( Am I biased? hell yeah lol coporate america + greedy businesses sucks). The makeup from the 3rd act break up might have left me a bit disconnected for the story, but I loved that they made up anyways. Even if you want to beat Alistair for being an idiot lol.
Overall, its a good story of polar opposites, money vs no money, underhanded business practices, corporate greed, striving to do right by the people, high heat & chemistry.
The blurb enticed me by this new to me author and the plot enthralled and entertained throughout their story!
A one night stand to release pent up stress and frustration leads to Alistair Devon and Josh Anderson experiencing the best night of their lives thinking it’s a one-off but fate has other plans installed for them four weeks later…

Decisions, Choices, Deceitful tendencies, Jealousy, Paternal Consent, Redemption are on the cards for them but will a stubborn brat get over his pride and will a dorky, sweet billionaire finally get his head out of his ahem A$$ … and fight for what he truly wants?

A sweet, angsty love story about finding your true inner self, discovering unknown kinks, emotional growth, forgiveness and lots of steamy surprises!
I voluntarily received an ARC from GRR for an honest non biased review.
This one started with a bang — literally — and hooked me right from their explosive first encounter but kinda plateaued and left me wanting more spice. Alistair, the billionaire CEO-in-waiting, and Josh, the fiery union rep, had incredible chemistry, with Josh’s bratty stubbornness perfectly playing off Alistair’s need to conquer. Their lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers dance was spicy, tense, and surprisingly tender underneath all the business drama.
I loved how both were under huge family pressure, and despite coming from totally different worlds, they ended up finding real support and happiness in each other. The side characters were solid too, rounding out the world and showing how tangled all their lives were.
Alistair’s decisions in the third act definitely made me want to shake him (corporate greed and family obligations, ugh), but I still wanted them to figure it out. Their HEA was satisfying even if a little rushed after the heartbreak. While there was some spice there was definitely room for more especially after their initial hookup.
Highlights? A billionaire vs union rep dynamic, d/s tension, swoony little surprises (ice cream kisses, snake birthday parties), and a story that blends lust, heart, and the messiness of trying to do the right thing.
Overall, this was a fun, opposites-attract read with plenty of emotion and a few sucker punches along the way. Looking forward to seeing what’s next in the series!
I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a good start to the Billionaire Temptation Series. I enjoyed immersing myself in this new world that Aria Clark/JF Miev has created. This is an enemies to lovers story between billionaire CEO to be of Devon Holidays Alistair and the new Head of the Labour Union trying to take down Alistair’s company. They had a hot as hell one night stand for stress relief before they meet again on opposite sides of the table, and have both been thinking about the other.
I thought their chemistry was off the charts, as well as hot as hell. They’re both struggling with living up to their family members, Alistair whether he should be the type of CEO his father was or changing things ups, and Josh living up to the amazing legacy of his mother who was the Head of the Labour Union for the last 15 years. The snake birthday party made me smile. Will they be able to come to a deal that they’re both happy with? I’m looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues, as well as more books from the author in the future. I’d recommend this book and author to others.
******I received a complimentary copy of this book and would still happily review this book even if I purchased it myself. My thoughts and feelings about this book are completely unbiased******
This first installment introduces us to Josh, the formidable head of the Labour Union, and Alistair, the ambitious billionaire CEO-in-waiting of Devon Holidays. Their initial dynamic, centered around intense contract negotiations, sets the stage for explosive chemistry.
What truly elevates this story is the depth of its characters. Both Josh and Alistair are wonderfully crafted, each grappling with their own internal struggles to live up to perceived expectations. This vulnerability makes them incredibly relatable and adds a rich layer to their budding relationship. The authors expertly build the tension and chemistry between them, making every interaction crackle with anticipation.
I was thoroughly engrossed in their journey, from their challenging professional encounters to the undeniable pull that draws them together. The pacing is excellent, keeping you invested in every twist and turn of their negotiation—both in the boardroom and in their personal lives.
"Negotiation Tactics" is an absolute must-read for fans of contemporary romance, especially those who appreciate a powerful connection between strong, well-developed characters. I wholeheartedly recommend diving into this book and, like me, you'll be eagerly anticipating the next installment in the "Billionaire Temptations" series!
THE GOOD: It's a pretty classic enemies-to-lovers story with a little bit of opposites attract. I'm not sure if I would classify it as High Spice - like the author does in their Tropes & Author's note - but it is definitely the opposite of a Slow Burn.
THE NEUTRAL: The author's voice feels different. I have read several J.F. Meiv books across different series and this one took a while to get into because the writing felt different - not bad but not what I am used to with this author. The characters also don't have much depth; they aren't one-dimensional because they do have interests & goals outside the main romance plot but they felt watered down.
THE MEH: Towards the end of the book - chapters 19 and 23 - the plot feels stagnant. It leads towards a revelation or two on the parts of the main characters but it feels like it drags on, especially given the pace of the beginning of the story. This isn't my favorite story and I'm wondering if it's just this series or will I encounter that in future J.F. Miev books.
CW: sexual content, death of a parent (off-page)
DISCLAIMER: I received an advance review copy. This is my honest review.
(Billionaire Temptations-1) Review for Negotiation Tactics by Aria Clark & J.F. Miev
Why does the universe keep doing this to him? His first case as the head of the labor union is the hotel that Devon Holidays owns. If that wasn't bad enough, Alistair Devon, who is the CEO, is the man Josh hooked up with the month before. So when the chance to go to a gala to try to get Alistair to see reason, he will do whatever it takes. All he wants is for the company to accept what the union terms that were laid out to them by the union. Will he succeed or lose everything, including Alistair?
Alistair knows that getting together with not only the man he slept with a month ago, but also with him being the union rep that has been trying to get him and his company. He just can't stop wanting this sassy, stubborn man; he knows it isn't a good thing to be doing, but he can't seem to stop himself. I just want to mess him up and put Josh in his place. Will these two men let themselves feel what they feel about each other? Or will they allow the business that Alistair has to stop them? I really liked this story. I loved the byplay these two go through with each other. It was addictive; I couldn't put it down. I need to find more to read by these authors.
When Alistair sets his sights on Josh as a hook up for the night, he didn't expect to keep thinking of him, days after that night but imagine his surprised when Josh walked into his office. As the head union rep Josh was ready to fight for the hotel workers who were employed by Devon Holidays, what he didn't want to fight was feeling in his heart. Whilst they were on opposites sides of the boardroom, there was some similarities, both felt the pressure of following in their successful parent's footsteps and they both did not want to let any down. But even though they were fighting the proposal, they were finding it hard to fight the attraction. I liked that Josh stood his ground and not let Alistair's money intimidate him and the long they spent together, you could see the type of guy Alistair was before he came back to take over the business. The bedroom scenes were hot with light BDSM, proving they were perfect for each other. I did want some more detail between Alistair and his dad, but it did not spoil the story. There are some lighter moments thanks to Josh's snarky mouth and Brady, Alistair's best friend, who had one spoilt snake. He is someone I want to know more about. This is a pleasant read which wasn't rushed and a good start to a new series
J.F. Miev once again delivers a masterclass in cocky, tension-filled romance with Negotiation Tactics. If you love enemies-to-lovers with an edge of kink, this is the book for you. The story follows Josh, the fiery head of a labor union, who’s used to going head-to-head with corporate giants. He’s ready for battle—until the person across the negotiation table is none other than Alistar, his unforgettable one-night stand and soon-to-be CEO of the very corporation he’s aiming to take down.
Their chemistry is electric, but what really drives this book is the perfect blend of sexual tension and ideological conflict. Josh is a true brat, unwilling to give up on the people who count on him, while Alistar plays the dominant role—both in business and the bedroom. Their power play is laced with emotional depth and escalating stakes as neither man is willing to surrender his ground.
The pacing hits a sweet spot—slow enough to let the angst build but sharp enough to keep you turning pages. And the bluffing game Alistar plays, pretending it’s just physical, only adds fuel to the fire until it becomes clear it’s so much more.
Smart, sharp, and sexy—Negotiation Tactics is a deliciously intense read. Highly recommended for fans of high-stakes MM romance with attitude and heat.
Josh and Alistair considered themselves enemies, but from the start their strong connection was evident. I enjoyed their journey as they tried to separate and distinguish business from pleasure. They brought as much passion to their business initiatives as they did to their personal endeavors. I was cheering for both of them and curious how the author would script it so both characters were satisfied and happy. I found myself on the roller coaster of emotions the characters were on, especially Josh.
I love snarky characters so I really enjoyed Josh being Alistair’s brat. The Dom/sub aspect was not too strong, which I appreciated, and it was just right for Josh and Alistair’s characters. The heat index was high with these two.
There were a few characters that were rarely mentioned and each time they were I had to remind myself who they were, and in the epilogue there was one mentioned and I still couldn’t recall who that was. However, the more prominently displayed secondary characters added volume to Josh and Alistair’s story. Brady seems fun and I’d like to know more about him. I hope he gets his happily ever after, just like Josh and Alistair did.
A new author to me, but this mm romance did not disappoint.
Josh is the newly appointed head of a labor union, and Alistair the billionaire CEO-to-be of Devon Holidays, the one he needs to negotiate with on behalf of the Devon Holidays’ staff. But as luck has it, the two already know each other because they had a very explosive one-night stand. So things are not going great for Josh at first, but then Alistair wants to have dinner, and after that there is a birthday party for a snake he needs to attend. Slowly the two of them get closer, and Josh thinks that maybe Alistair isn’t as horrible as all the other billionaires he’s used to, who care for nothing else except money. The union case was actually way more interesting than I thought it would be. I’m genuinely glad we were able to follow it to the end.
Both Josh and Alistair are well-rounded characters with backgrounds, friends, and family.
The sex scenes are well written and hot. For anyone who wants to dip their toes into kink, this might be a good starting point. There is nothing too extreme, a bit of D/s, some spanking, some restraints.
A fun read, and I’m looking forward to more of this series.
First in series (Billionaire Temptations). Adversarial to lovers. Light BDSM. Dual POV.
Newly appointed head of the local workers union, Josh has his first big case but finds the soon to be CEO of Devon Holidays hotel group was his super hot hookup from a month ago. Alistair is trying to be everything his father expects, and he will be soon taking over the family business, so denying the union any concessions is just part of the job until Josh walks in and Alistair can’t deny he’s obsessed.
This story had a good amount of back and forth between Alistair and Josh, and I appreciated that there wasn’t really a power imbalance and they both stuck to their guns until a real compromise could be made. The amount of attraction they felt and compatibility slowly wore them down but trust took a long time due to the circumstances of their jobs. Both men got to grow a little and understand each other’s family expectations, and I was glad they spent time getting to know each other on top of their steamy chemistry together.
Alistair doesn’t mix business with pleasure — not anymore. But one unforgettable night with a captivating stranger leaves his rules in ruins. A month later, he’s blindsided when that same man walks into his boardroom... as the new union rep threatening to upend everything he’s built.
Josh has one goal: lead the most important labor negotiation of his new career and secure real change for the workers. Getting involved with anyone — least of all the billionaire CEO across the table — is out of the question. But desire doesn’t follow contracts, and Alistair proves hard to forget… and even harder to resist.
With every meeting charged with tension and every stolen moment a risk, Josh and Alistair are caught between their growing feelings and the futures they’ve sworn to protect.
In a game where loyalty is everything, can they afford to gamble on love — or will it all go up in flames?
I didn’t expect to get emotionally wrecked and swoon this hard, but here we are. Negotiation Tactics delivers everything I love in a high-stakes romance — sharp tension, layered characters, and a chemistry that practically burns through the pages.
What starts as a ruthless rivalry between two powerful men quickly morphs into a dangerous, electric connection neither of them saw coming. The enemies-to-lovers arc is crafted with just the right mix of slow-burn angst and steamy payoffs. Aria Clark and J.F. Miev don’t just write romance — they dissect power, vulnerability, and desire in a way that feels raw and addictive.
I stayed up way too late reading “just one more chapter,” and I have zero regrets. If you’re into possessive billionaires, emotional unraveling, and tension that simmers until it snaps — you need this book.

4/5. I liked it. I really liked how it turned the “magic dick solves all”-sitch it could’ve been into something better than all of that. We’ve done that to death, here’s to the books where they get stupid for each other but don’t let that make them stupid over what they’re about and who they are. I mean, I love Nigel to death, but when he’s wrong, his ass is fucking wrong and ima make it right. We all gonna learn in this house. Dick is never worth all that nonsense. These guys were good for each other (imo) though, and kept each other motivated to do and be better. I was here for it. I’m actually itching to get into the next one when it drops. This was cute. A familiar concept with a twist that was a fun, quick read. Beach read vibe for sure.
(—I received an ARC from Gay Romance Reviews (GRR). All ratings, reviews, and opinions are my own.—)
I have to give this book kudos for having a union rep/president as a character. It was a nice contrast to have the billionaire paired with someone representing the union. Not sure you can get that job without a college degree, but oh well. I was a little disappointed that he had the secret desire to be an architect/artist.
The cast of side characters was also well done. I wasn't completely sold on Josh and Alistair's relationship, but I did appreciate Josh's connection to the other people in his life. The banter between Josh and Alistair was also really engaging.
It's always fun when an anonymous hookup refuses to stay anonymous, 😆. Case in point, Josh, lead for his trade union, meets Alistair, CEO in waiting for the family firm. Both have an unforgettable night, only to meet weeks later under less sexy circumstances. On the surface, this is a mix of brat/dom (very light); opposites attract but circumstances get in their way. But it's also a story of personal and professional growth of the 2 MCs, supportive friends and class divide between powerful organisations and the worker bees that make these powerful organisations. Overall, good story, kept me engaged, though I was not digging the 3rd act break up).
They are union and management so they naturally are sitting on opposite sides of the corporate table. But when the lights went down they were in the same bed and they both really liked it. What are Josh and Alastair to do? Alastair is the CEO of the company that Josh, as the head of the labor union, is negotiating with. But they were also partners in some night games that neither can really forget. And even worse for them, personally they really work well together. Can they successfully mix business and pleasure and both come out with what they need in the end? I liked their story, I liked both characters and I was hoping for them to find a way through this whole fun and steamy read. I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thank you the true author for this ARC. I really enjoy all the books I’ve read by JF Miev. And this one is no different. Easy reads, some good sex, a bit of groveling and well deserved HEA. What’s not to love? Alastair and Josh were great. I loved their dynamics. Josh was a bit of a brat and I loved that Alastair seemed to fall first. Lily and Brady were the perfect friends who encouraged them to pursue the relationship. I wish there was mention about the party for the pet snake was done as an excuse to get Josh to hang out with him more. As always I look forward to more from this author. I enjoy everything they write.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Really good rivals to lovers, seriously. They aren’t the rivals that fix everything when they fall in love, no, they fight tooth and nail against each other, no compromises, and I loved it. I have read one book by this author before, so when the ARC opportunity came up, and I read the blurb, I snatched it up, and now I leave my voluntary review. This was good. Them struggle was real, realistic, and even though they were both stubborn, I’m glad Josh stood his ground. This wasn’t an easy road, specially for Alastair, change is never easy, but having his buttons pushed by a brat helped him take what he wanted, and I enjoyed their journey.
Two strangers hook up in a bar for a night of debauchery. 4 weeks later Josh, the head of a labor union, finds out his hook up was Alastair, the future CEO of the company he has to negotiate with. It's a light, contemporary romance about two guys who are hung up on each other, refuse to admit it and keep trying to be professional while also trying to not give each other anything - business wise. It's steamy and sometimes they excitedly yell at each other and call each other names but you know the love or desire is always there. I received a copy of this through BookSirens and this is my voluntary opinion.
Perfect characters, snarly and witty dialogue, passion and chemistry, and a light dose of Dom/sub make this the perfect summer read. I loved the how the stubbornness of both Josh and Alistair made me laugh, knowing their chemistry would lead to more. I love the plot of how a random hookup keeps on giving as these two get connected as union rep and company owner after the hookup, each on opposites sides of business, but the business and the personal collide (in a good way). While both see the hook up as a mistake from their business perspective, their life and heart seems to know differently. I am excited about more books in this series. I did receive an ARC and leave this honest review.
