Razor’s Edge: An Assassin’s Battle Beyond The Fight

Rate this book
Razor was a grummy man—rough hands, a colder heart, and a past soaked in blood. He didn’t ask for forgiveness, didn’t need saving, and damn sure didn’t believe in love. But Keziah? She was the exception to every rule he lived by. The only woman who ever cracked his armor. The only one who had his heart… and the only one who could break it.

Problem was—she wasn’t his.

She was his brother’s wife.

But that never stopped the way his eyes followed her when she walked into a room… soft hips swaying, head held high like she didn’t know she already belonged to him. It never stopped the way his body responded when her voice dropped low and she said his name like a secret. Razor fought it—fought her—because wanting her was a sin he had no right to claim.

Still, no matter how far he tried to bury it, the truth stayed the same.

He loved her. In silence. In shadows. In every stolen moment that felt more like a betrayal and less like survival.

And when she finally gave in? When her lips found his and her body surrendered like it had been waiting just for him?

That was the moment Razor knew.

He’d go to hell for Keziah… and he’d take the whole world with him if it meant keeping her.

Razor’s story was deep, heavy, and real. That man been through hell and it shows in every move he make 😮‍💨🖤 But instead of breaking, he became the type you don’t play with — quiet, dangerous, and loyal to a fault.

Keziah brought her own scars too, and when I say their bond hit different? Whew. Two broken souls just tryna breathe, love, and protect what’s theirs 💥💔

This one gave emotion, darkness, and alpha energy in the best way. Razor solidified himself as one of my favorites in the series. 💯🔥

Razor and Keziah, With You Is Where I Wanna Be

Amazing wrap up and I was soooo happy to get the backstory for Razor and Keziah!!!…Razor was not playing about getting and protecting his woman once all those clues came together!!!…
I love how they continued to love each other through the years and kept hoping they find their way back to each other!!!…
Their bond and love was so sweet and very intense!!!…I questioned the paternity of Kane and Karma at the very beginning of this book and I broke my heart that Razor was cheated out of raising them, but I was happy that he kept providing for them!!!…
Duke was so selfish and I was so angry with him and the way he treated his sister and her children!!!…
Both Tazar and Kamal got everything Karma had to offer for all the nasty things they did to Keziah!!!
I was happy that Razor was able to start building his relationship with his children and loving on his grandchildren!!!..,
Pharaoh’s army did not play and was glad to be on the journey with them!!!…

The Continuity is Everything

I absolutely love the continuity in this series. When we first met Razor in Reaper’s book, I didn’t like him, but slowly, he grew on me in these last two books. His jaggedness makes a lot more sense now. My guy was dealing with a lot, from being betrayed when he was in the military, to losing the love of his life. I’m so glad that he and Keziah got their happy ending. They deserved it, especially after everything they went through. And Duke should’ve died, I’m sorry lol.

My only real issue with this book is that there were a lot of grammatical errors, repeated sentences, and the time jumps could have been better outlined. But outside of that, I liked this book a lot. Hope we get Pharaoh’s book next, and if not, please let us get one about Torture. I’d love to get more of his backstory. 4.25 ⭐️

So, full disclosure, I am in a love -hate relationship with this series!

Duke was a dog for how he used those kids. However, Razor was also their uncle but wasn't held accountable for not being in their lives. At least Duke kept them and he had less means to do so.

If there was something to be mad about that was it. Razor was the Fun-kunle until Keziah disappeared, and then so did he. Rouge and Viper grew up believing all they had, what's Duke!

Keziah, was trapped in a loveless marriage to the brother she hated to pay a debt while the brother she loved, loved her from the sidelines.

All the dots get connected from book 3- Viper in this conclusion to this family drama.

Havoc and his mini me, Maverick are hilarious a light in the darkness.

We're introduced to a new squad: Gemini’s

Torture has been popping out. So who knows who is next in this crazy world 🌎 of Pharoah's Army.

The Price Of Happiness

Kendra, what a sensual read. I thought I loved Razor before but baby! He really has my heart now. The way he takes care of those he loves is so amazing. He handles situations in a manner that it needs to be handled. I was happy to find out why he was so mean😅 Finding a love then to have it snatched away would have anyone living in a safe bubble. This love story was gritty, hard as well as showing softness were you never saw it before. Great read!!! Can't wait to see who's next in the army🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Yassssss!!

I loved Razor and Keziah’s love story!! Their connection was so strong it truly withstood the test of time. Razor stood ten toes down for her even when she couldn’t for herself!! I am glad Viper and Rogue came around and they are starting to build those family bonds now that all the secrets are out. Now Mrs. Necole who is Torture and who is Gemini? I did not miss the new additions and I am also to get the new breadcrumbs to Pharoah’s story!! Five stars as usual and I will be looking out for the next installment of Pharoah’s Army🥰

ok read

It was an ok read to me. There were a few inconsistencies and timelines that didn’t match up to me. Like Madison and Vivian talked about as if they were the same age, but Rogue was very pregnant already when Viper met Kross. And when it pretty much says Tazar’s twin was taken care of, but then say they have to go after him, but then don’t mention him win they go to take the last of the crew out. There were more and it just made parts slightly confusing. But all in all it was ok

Hmmmm...Disappointed

I stopped at 86%. I was really enjoying this book but became disappointed as the Kezziah never grew/evolved. She was weak and became a professional victim. Razor always had to save her. She was never capable of protecting or saving herself from her male captives. She freely allowed herself to be captured for years each time, supposedly to save a bro that never did anything for her. I don't see what Razor was so in love with. She had nothing going for herself except being a victim in the name of love for her, bro..smh.

worth the wait

Listen Kendra did not disappoint she tied the story of the members of Pharoh’s Army together to bring us Razor and his plight. I picked this book up and couldn’t put it down. The way she rights it brings all of the pieces of the puzzle back together as if you just read it yesterday. I love it. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I want to join Pharaohs Army!

I can't fire a darn BB gun let Lone roll through with that much chaos but loving on a soldier returning from war would be my specialty. Pharaohs' heart needs peace. Now can we get Tortures story? He seems crazy. Unhinged is my new favorite character trait!

Families are built on trust, love and stability. Secrets and lies destroy everything once they are revealed. Love can be a significant source of strength motivating you to move forward with resilience and a force that changes are coming.

not at all what I expected

To hold on to a memory of a love lost for as long as the did is crazy. This book is rooted in trauma and secrets.
