Leadernomics is our linear path across the roller coaster of life. From fighting contractor fraud to deleting billions of dollars, from instituting marginal acts of kindness to combating pervasive complacency, from tumbling through the sky to falling asleep at the wheel—Leadernomics rides the rails of life, steadied by a time-tested mentor named Economics. At every step, economics guides with objective wisdom and clarity yet is full of compassion and empathy—and never has it let this author down.
In this reflective, thought-provoking memoir, Paik reveals that the best, most rewarding investments—personal and professional—are found when this mentor’s principles are at the helm. Leadernomics reminds us that economics and leadership are ultimately human endeavors, and both exist to guide and inspire each person toward their greatest potential. Wouldn’t it be nice to have this mentor with us 24/7 through every stage and season of life? Leadernomics stands at the ready. Buckle up. . . . Let’s go!
Enjoyable and insightful. Even if you hate the topic of economics, you will love this book. Mr. Paik shares very complex principles in their most simple form and uses them as learning tools; but the closer you look into the economic principles, the more implications for leadership you’ll see, and that is fascinating to me.
Great book on leadership and life while incorporating economic principles. I really found value in reading this book even though I’m not an economics girly. Definitely recommend!
