It wasn't until Detective Bradley Lockwood and Detective Kane Wilder came to her house because of an unusual call from Evelynn, which sped up the investigation. As Lockwood and Evelynn's feelings start to grow, they need to find out who killed Linda and who is now haunting Evelynn.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, twist-filled read, this is the one for you. With this book being just over 100 pages long, I was eager to reach the end, to find out what was happening. This story starts with a super-catching prologue and doesn't let up until the end. The detail throughout the story is pretty decent for being such a short read. The only reason this isn't a 5-star read for me is that the timeline doesn't make full sense. However, the rest of the story was nice. I do love the twists in it and wish I could have stayed in the story longer. This book does have an insta love vibe to it, while I'm usually not a fan of insta love, I did see the use for it in this story and enjoyed it.
