It's not a long book and in the beginning I did miss some connection between them, because it's so fast paced and it happens all so fast. But how further you go the better it gets! I do believe that you can fall in love from the moment you met someone because it happened to me, when meeting my husband.
I loved the protective and possessiveness of both the MMC.. and ofcourse a stubborn and feisty FMC can't miss!

I do looking forward to the next one, Mara and Lucas!

YES YES YES! Twin brothers and hockey romance? Spice and everything we need in it! Hockey and mafia? A fast paced and a smutty book is definitely what the doctor ordered! An FMC who’s a switch and gives us both sides of her and 2 twin MMCs who are everything we could want! We get a plot included in this! Absolutely immediately a yes from me!

If every hockey romance book was like this, I’d understand the hype way more than I do 😂😂 I didn’t know what to expect from this because it was honestly way out of my scope of reading but it definitely checked all of my boxes.

I am a sucker for an accidental pregnancy trope that is done right, and this one was done with just enough ambiguity that it was a surprise when it came out.
I liked that the set up was done so nicely that I was HOPEFUL that it was an accidental pregnancy trope but that there was still an open ended area that it could have been left without that. It was well done.

I love mafia romance, and I’ve recently been into hockey romance, while knowing nothing about the sport. So this blends those two rather nicely. There were several mafia points that I did not see coming.

This was exquisite. I adore a good taboo romance.
I had a really good time reading this along for the vibes, this was great.

Twins, hockey and a Mafia Princess 

I mean you can't really go wrong with this combo can you? I would have loved it to be longer and include more of the characters back stories but I really enjoyed it. 

FMC hooks up with a man and doesn't exchange any information. She later regrets it but it was her choice. Queue the bestie dragging her to hockey game. Imagine her surprise when she sees familiar eyes winking to her from the ice.  Except when she gets brought back to meet with the guy it turns out it actually wasn't the guy but his twin brother. 

Talk about a lucky girl. These men are immediately obsessed and willing to do anything to keep her safe when they realize who she is. However, will they all survive the storm that is coming?

This story is fun and spicy with enough angst to hold the story but again I wish there was more. I really wanted to know more about all three characters pasts and how they got where they are now. Still a good read.

Sexy twin hockey players, mafia, trouble, and mayhem all in this one! Sign me up to read this again for the first time! The characters and the story are both captivating and exciting. I have not found a story that has mafia and hockey included together. I loved that the two worlds collided. The past comes back to haunt the twins in their current lives. The girl of their dreams is also from the mafia life. Who would have dreamed?

Mikey and Kai are so protective of Julia and are willing to do anything needed to keep her in their lives. Julia, being a mafia princess, is whiny in my opinion at the beginning. She becomes a strong FMC eventually.

This book was great! You have to check it out! I can’t wait for the next one!!

This was my first hockey romance and i loved it, This was also my first read of Rebekah’s but i’ll definitely be reading more of her work. I absolutely loved Julia’s story, i binge read this book in less than 48 hours just because i needed to see how her story unravelled, with not just one, but two hockey men. When a mafia princess gets intwined with a set of hockey twins, you get a front row seat to a chaotic mix of danger, obsession, and lots of spice.

This was a fun, fast read. Twins/hockey/mafia all rolled in to one. There’s absolutely no slow burn here, the spice kicks off right away with very much an insta-love vibe. The pacing is quick, and the intensity of the plot ramps up early on. While these are things that I don't normally gravitate towards, I was hooked and it really kept me invested from the word go. I would have liked for it to have been a bit longer just for a bit more depth and to build the chemistry between the twins and Julia a bit more but this is just personal taste. Overall an entertaining read and I am looking forward to the next one!

I was so anxious to get my hands on this book and see how the worlds of hockey and the mafia were going to collide but this completely exceeded all my expectations! I was sucked in immediately. First of all, I love that Kia’s hockey number is #33 (my favorite number), which made me smile right away. And the spice? So spicy. 🌶️🔥 I’m giving this 4.5 stars only because I wanted more! I loved the story, it just felt a little fast. That said, I truly enjoyed every bit of it and am really hoping for a spin-off so we can get Mel and Lucas’s story next

Another great book by Rebekah. I loved getting to know Kai, Mikey and Julia. Do check the triggers, there is a bit of darkness in here. I loved the characters and story. I really hope we get one with Mel and Luca though! I adore them and the banter they have going on. While I'm not much of a sports romance fan, Rebekah did it really well. There is just enough to stick with the story, but not so much that it overwhelms everything else. Great job and can't wait to read more!

This book was so good, I devoured it! I love me a good hockey romance and then add in the Mafia too, ummm yes please! The book moves at a very fast pace and I was never bored for even a second. Kai and Mickey are all the yummy things you want from your hockey player Book boyfriends. Julia is a fierce and bad@ss chick who refuses to let life completely break her, even though it's thrown her some super crappy cards. The spice is HOT from the beginning and just keeps getting hotter. I cant begin to explain how much I loved this book and hope there are more to follow from other players on team Vortex.
If you love hockey romance or dark Mafia romance, this book is for you! If you havent read either of those types, this book is STILL for you. Dont sleep on this book, read it asap!

I’m pretty sure I read this as Everything is Better in *Paris* so I was a little surprised by the twin aspect. That’s a me error. I can role with the twin trope, but I didn’t like that the 2nd twin to enter the story became the dominant twin in their interactions.

There were some issues with the storyline. Like in the beginning the FMC has 5 bodyguards but then she’s able to attend a hockey game unprotected? She just happens to be far enough a long at the first ultrasound to tell the gender?

It was a quick easy read, and overall a cute story, and the ending was a cute proposal/wedding.

Everything Is Better in Pairs follows identical twins Kai and Mikey as they both fall for a mafia princess who initially appears fearful and desperate to distance herself from her powerful family. Her vulnerability feels genuine—until her mafia boss father decides he wants her back, using that fear to pull her in.

Things escalate quickly from there, leading to a satisfying moment where she finally takes control of her life, gets everything she wants, and removes the biggest obstacle standing in her way (yes, her dad).

The book held a lot of promise, and while I enjoyed the direction it was heading, it did feel slightly cut short—as though there was more story left to tell. That said, it’s still an overall enjoyable, light read with several laugh-out-loud moments.

I finished the book entertained and curious, especially about what might happen next between Mel and Luca. A solid 4 stars for a fun, easy read that leaves you wanting just a little more.

I’ve never DNF’d an ARC until now. Even one I knew was going to take me forever to get through because the writing was soo bad. But I’m officially marking this one as DNF.

There are so many holes that even in a fantasy world I don’t know that I can overlook it. You have the NHLs top goalie get his ribs broken, he’s beat the hell up by the mafia guys and no one on his team? The coaching staff? The fans? Says a word. Least of all he’s back to 100% playing condition within like 2 days? I was over looking how weird it was that they were somehow on the opposite side of the Mafia. Gonna let that slide because fantasy world. Also - we play up hard that the dad (Mafia King) is SO smart. The MMCs don’t think he’s following them? They’re not keeping their girl very secure.

Then. Surprise pregnancy. This is where I put the book down. Definitely do not remember that being part of the tropes list. And that’s where I had to stop. I wasn't very in to the book anyways for the above reason. It seemed like we took all the tropes and tried to mash them in to one? Mafia romance, sports (hockey) romance, MFM, surprise pregnancy, one night stand, how many more random things can we add?

I won’t be finishing this one. Thank you for the opportunity to read this as an ARC.

I absolutely loved this book! Julia is such a strong minded character that takes no BS. She is just as protective as Kai and Mikey are. The spicy level this book has is definitely a 5/5 so be prepared! I don’t want to say too much where I spoil it but it’s definitely a must read especially if you like those hockey romances!

The spice starts immediately in this book and draws you in hook, line, and sinker. It is very fast paced with a lot of small details going on, if you don’t pay attention you could get a little confused with everything. With that said Mikey, Kai and Julia bring this twisted hockey romance to life, with some twists and turns that you may not anticipate.
