This is not my usual genre, but I know the author, so I read it. I was surprised at how good the story was. She introduced many people, locations, and events that at first seemed to have nothing to do with each other. But by the end of the novel, she had weaved them together into a delightful tapestry. A thoroughly entertaining read. If my friend, the author, chooses to write another novel, I’m going to be like that cartoon character who says, “shut up and take my money!” You should read this one!
