Strength: is more than just a word

Rate this book
We all go through what feels like a lot of pain and heart-ship, in our lives, and I am not any different, but I like to be happy in the strength of my survival.. I am still here, and my fight is not even close to ending, but neither is my joy.

So why is strength more than a word, you ask? Well linguistically it isn't, but I believe in the thing called life, it is!
Strength can of course both be in body and mind, and in my experience the most important one is that one of our minds. You are strong if you keep up fighting, when you feel like giving up, you are strong when you dare to love, and you are strong when you acknowledge that you have weaknesses, but that you also have things that makes you special. You are strong, because you still stand tall, even in your darkness.

Hmm a bit about me.. well I could probably write a whole novella just about myself but I don't think you would want that lol.. might get tedious ;)

BUT..
I am a kinda young woman who is HSP and pretty Introverted which to tell you the truth can be pretty hard at time but I also see it as a blessing because it means I am Multi creative: I sing, Write songs, am writing romance as well as poetry and I actually also draw.. Used to draw portraits and when I began singing it kinda got pushed to the background..

I am a English BA student and in August 2014 I got married to the love of my life.

I am a huge believer in using what talents you were gifted with and in always being yourself.

Hmm what else... well I am a really caring and fun person when you get to know me and I have a wicked perverted sense of humor.

I loved this book. I could relate to most of the poems, and it resonated with me. The writer not only captures your heart, but does so in a beautiful, simple yet elegant manner. Poetry is always open to interpretation but this book is a story of strength, hope and acceptance.
I recommend this book to all those who love reading.

What a beautiful collection of poetry by Line F. Nielsen. I admit after doing poetry in school during my GCSEs I fell out of love with it and probably haven't read any since, but I got the opportunity to read this collection and I loved every single word! I felt like I could connect with the words that were written and it made it a much most enjoyable read from start to finish.

This is a different kind of book for me and I don't usually do poetry but this Little Book is amazing.

I am a Recovering Bulimic And "Strength" is exactly what this book gave me. I have 3 favorites that I can completely relate to and will carry with me for a long time. Do Not, Me and Reflect My Soul are amazing but I would recommend that you read this and find what you love most about it.

A definite keeper for me, Line F Nielsen strikes again

I don’t usually read poetry books but after attending a book signing earlier this year I made it my goal to read at least 1 book from each attending author. This is a really moving book of poetry and there really is a poem for everyone. My personal favorites are I Will Never Live in Chains, I’ve Had Enough and We Get Told. I’m very glad I gave this book a chance and am sure in moments of doubt about my own strength I will read it again.

Amazing

I love reading strength, all the poems are so well written and so easy to understand and read, one line wrote for her husband on there wedding day is beautiful. All the song that have been written was also brilliant loved sitting and reading them.

If you love poetry then this is the book to read so much thought and feeling went into writing the poems

Thank you line for some outstanding poems

I'm not much of a poetry person but Line has written a wonderful book; it is an honour to read her work. There are some that really resonated within me as the words are strong and motivating hence the title. Now, I realize that I shouldn't just stick to reading on one genre and Line is an author that has magic in her fingertips. Well done!

Poetry is not really my thing to be honest but I got the chance to read this book and to my surprise I really liked it! Some of the poems made me tear up and others made me smile. The ones that stayed with me were Acceptance, I Always, Strength, Charing the light and Earth Song.
Give this book a try, you will not be disappointed.

This poetry collection is absolutely beautiful. Line perfectly captures pain, strength, hope, love.. With her beautiful words. If you enjoy hopeful poetry then I would fully recommend this collection.

Sounds strange but it genuinely made me feel hopeful and motivated when all I had wanted to was curl up and sleep for a week.

Hope this review helps.

Reading a poetry book is something I haven't done since I was a child. I loved Pam Ayers.

But this one is full of heartfelt emotional poems. You can really tell that the author spent a lot of emotionally charged moments writing these poems.

It certainly makes you think more about life and the moments you often miss in life as it passes you by.

Beautiful, thought provoking poetry. I'm not a big poetry reader, but I really enjoyed these. I especially liked the Danish song from her wedding, I thought that was sweet to have in the book in its original form along with the translated version.

This is my first poetry book and I liked it very much. Cried with a couple of them because I felt they spoke to/about me.

"Strength is more than one emotion
More than just conquering one fear..."

It's a fantastic read and I highly recommend it.

I tend to read novels, never really pick up poetry books but I'm so glad I did.

This is a beautiful collection of poems and each one is its own form of escapism.

Words beautifully strung together.

Enjoyed immensely
