'I'm not going to tell you that everything happens for a reason. Those words are cold comfort in any traumatic moment. This is what I will say,
I see you.
I hear you.
I am with you.'

Growing up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Chloe Chapman thought her life would unfold close to home, surrounded by childhood friends and familiar shores. But on a spontaneous girls' trip to Bali, she met pro-surfer Paul Fisher - and everything changed. The connection was instant, and together they embarked on a whirlwind life of love, travel and building their dream careers.

As Paul's success as DJ Fisher exploded, life looked golden. However, behind the scenes, Chloe carried a quiet all she ever wanted was to be a mum. But her journey to motherhood was anything but smooth - it was a rollercoaster of juggling life on tour with fertility struggles and heartbreak. Through it all, she found power in vulnerability, purpose in storytelling, and strength in community, which she now shares through her Darling, Shine! podcast and beyond.

Always You is more than a memoir - it's the handbook Chloe wishes she had to help her heal. Alongside her honest, heartfelt story are breakout sections filled with guidance, reflections, and tools for anyone navigating fertility, grief or uncertainty. Whether you're in the depths of trying to conceive, supporting someone who is or simply searching for hope - this book is for you.

Because one day, you'll look back and whisper to the one who made it all worthwhile . . .
It was always you.

Just finished and I loved every bit of this book. So honest, real and beautifully written. I felt every part of her story. From IVF to pregnancy, friendships and life, Chloe shares it all with so much heart. Such a special read. 🤍🥹

I don't normally rate memoirs with stars because it doesn't feel right rating someone's lived experience but definitely worth a read this one!

Listened as a Audiobook.
I was aware of Chloe’s story over the years but not the full version of her fertility struggles and what she went through, this is a very honest and open portrayal of the sad fertility journey she went on as a realistic account of what the early motherhood days are like.
I think her information and advice would be helpful for those in a similar situation

I am so so happy Chloe, Fisher and Bobbi got their happy ending ❤️❤️
Their journey was so rough, it broke my heart for all those suffering with their infertility journeys. I pray they all end as sweet as this one, although I know that is not the case. ❤️

I wasn’t going to bother reading Chloe’s books because I’ve been following her story all along. I was so surprised by how gripping the audiobook was! I completely binged it in two days. She had me equally in tears & stitches. I loved it & I recommend it to anyone with women in their lives!

Give me a book about love, pain, grief and loss and i’m in tears. Only didn’t get 5 stars as I found the timeline so jumpy but what a good read! Ellidys story line again really got me

Such a beautifully written autobiography. I’m a big Darling Shine listener, and have always admired Chloe’s open-ness/vulnerability - especially when it comes to her fertility journey, but this book goes so much deeper. Just proves you never know what someone else is going through 💕

I couldn’t put this book down and finished it in two days! Chloe’s story is so honest, inspiring, and full of heart. I really admired how she stood up for herself in the medical system, it left me feeling so seen and empowered as I go through a different medical journey.

A raw and honest story even though I already knew the ending. Though it wasn’t the most intelligible writing, easy to read just like an elongated podcast.

I’ve been a follower of @chloe.fisher since stumbling across her podcast, @darlingshine.podcast. I was at the beginning of my own IVF journey and found so much solace in hearing her story.

Though our situations were different, we both had the same goal.

My heart broke for her when she announced the lost of her twin boys - I was pregnant with my own at the same time - and I was overjoyed when she shared the news of her pregnancy that led to Bobbi.

I was stoked when @hachetteaus sent me her book, ‘Always You’. Though I had heard bits and pieces of Chloe’s story on the podcast before, it was incredible to hear all the bits of vulnerability and rawness that happened in between all the rounds of IVF, Paul’s gigs and general life. Her journey to getting her beautiful baby. The aftermath that she doesn’t really talk about. All of it was beautiful to read and made for an incredible story.

Chloe also shares her reasoning behind sharing certain things on social media & taking a step back from the podcast - things that I never really realised but just made me love her even more!

Thank you Hachette for sending me this in exchange for my honest review ❤️

I’ve been a fan on Chloe’s for years & am parasocially in love with her tribe of found (& biological) family built over the years, so I loved being able to dive deeper into her story in this audiobook. In her novel, we cover her love with Fisher (DJ for those who don’t know), loss of close friends & family, & her strenuous journey with fertility that ultimately gave her her greatest gift, baby Bobbi & another baby Fish on the way ❤️‍🩹 Chloe’s journey was not an easy one, but her mindset is so powerful & she’s truly an inspiration of a woman. Loved the audiobook here as her Australian accent is 10/10, highly recommend for fans of Chloe’s, fans of Fisher’s, women who are on their journey with fertility, or anyone who wants an inspiring audiobook!

I too attended the book launch and finished the book within a day. The story flows nicely and the resources throughout are so practical and helpful. Chloe is so brave to bare her soul and share all the heartache. So many parts of this story resonated so closely with me and I’m sure will for many other women too.
Thank you x
