Jessica, a Marine combat diver and Athena graduate, is nearly killed and then sent on a assignment to recover information about Arachne from a sunken ship. In the process, she hooks up with a genius salvage operator, and ends up revealing her secret gills that allow her to breathe under water. In the end, her skills save them both, and they manage to retrieve the information for Delphi.
