I really wanted to love this book. But it was too slow moving for me and the characters didn’t wow me. It was just okay and probably won’t read any others in the series unfortunately.

This novel had all of my favorite elements: slow-burning/enemies-to-lovers romance, fantastical features (i.e., angels, pirates, magic, etc.), and multidimensional main characters. I loved following the FMC and MMC on their journeys for redemption and growth. I absolutely cannot wait for the second book to come out to see where these two go next. The cliffhanger was diabolical, so I am not sleeping until the next book is out.

Thank you so much for the ARC Copy
