Ok, I don't doubt that these tips and tricks will help you communicate and coexist with men. I do, however, think that a lot of these things go against what women have a natural inclination to do. So, what I get from this book is that in order to peacefully cohabitate with men, women just need to completely go against any of their instincts, and pump their man's ego because he's a little man child that can't handle even the smallest criticism like, "You're going to miss the exit to where we are trying to go." Come on. Again, I don't doubt these things about men and how they feel are true. I guess I've just read some other books that express these ideas in a way that don't sound like women have to completely change everything they think and do. I will try some of the ideas and suggestions the author gives, and I'm sure they will be successful to an extent, but I just don't know how realistic some of the suggested changes are to make in the long-term. I don't think I can all of a sudden be some damsel in distress all the time just so my husband can feel better about himself. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

Cracking the Man Code is an insightful and approachable relationship guide that demystifies how men think, love, and communicate — and why that matters in building a deeper, more connected partnership. Mat Boggs blends real stories, science‑backed insights, and practical strategies to help readers understand what fuels a man’s devotion, how to communicate in ways that foster closeness rather than conflict, and how to restore and sustain attraction over time. It’s full of heart, humor, and empathy that keeps it both relatable and actionable.

What I loved most about this book is how it reframes common relationship frustrations into opportunities for understanding and growth. Instead of offering vague advice, Boggs gives clear tools for harnessing both masculine and feminine energies, balancing partnership dynamics, and stopping patterns of over‑giving so both partners feel equally invested and respected. Cracking the Man Code is a helpful read for anyone looking to deepen intimacy, spark romance, and build lasting harmony in their relationship.

Cracking the Man Code by Mat Boggs
4/5 stars
This book gives a lot of insight into the male human brain and how it functions. If you do not have an emotionally intelligent guy friend, you should read this. Boggs does an amazing job narrating. He has a good pace and clear pronunciation.
I think he has some good points on how to handle the male love interest in your life. However, I do feel like the book puts a lot of pressure on women to notice his brain pattern without him taking accountability to learn hers.
Overall, the book is a good starter for someone in the dating scene or for someone in a failing relationship. I think it would be beneficial to listen to this with your current partner so you can both learn about how the other functions. You might even learn that this book does not accurately portray each other, and you can save unnecessary confusion.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!

Wow, I think I audiobooked this in 2 days or less. I really liked this book and felt like it opened my eyes to things. As I was listening to it, I was like omgosh I am that person who does all the things that I shouldn't be doing, but I felt like it gave me good advice. When I brought this book up to my spouse, he was like like yeah, I could've told you that, you needed a book to tell you those things. I really liked how the narrator read this book and how it was organized. I liked how this book was for the female about the male perspective. I feel like all the marriage books are what we should be doing and how we should talk about "I feel and I need." But it never gives this is how a guy thinks. I really enjoyed this book. If anyone is looking for something to read on relationships, I would highly recommend this book.

Although I think this book is especially suited for someone actively searching for their “Mr. Right,” I personally found it full of fresh insights and helpful perspectives—particularly from a male point of view. The author does a thoughtful job of breaking down common relationship pitfalls and offers practical advice for navigating them.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a great job with pacing and delivery, which made the content easy to follow.

Overall, I think this would make a great gift for someone who’s currently in the dating scene and looking for guidance.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this ARC!
