Santa Cowboy: A Sweet Billionaire Cowboy Romance

One party planner, one grumpy cowboy, and one tiny letter to Santa Cowboy… what could possibly go wrong (or wonderfully right)?

Hallie Whitmore is a Dallas-based party planner with zero interest in sleigh bells, sentiment, or staying put. But when she inherits her grandmother’s old Victorian farmhouse in Cottonwood Ridge, Montana, a quick flip-and-sell turns complicated—especially when a letter addressed to Santa Cowboy ends up in her mailbox.

Beau Kingsley—grumpy cowboy, former rodeo star, and not-so-retired Santa Cowboy—has no intention of stepping back into those boots. But a local kid still believes, and the town hasn’t forgotten the Christmas magic once made in that big white farmhouse.

The Kingsley family practically owns Cottonwood Ridge—and they’re all-in on bringing back the beloved holiday celebration. Between Ridge’s over-the-top Dude Ranch gala and Colt’s hayrides featuring pigs in Santa hats, the whole town is going full on Christmas.

Somewhere between tangled lights and cocoa stations, Hallie winds up at the center of a celebration she never planned… and next to the one cowboy who just might change everything.

A cozy, billionaire cowboy sweet romance filled with slow-burn charm, small-town warmth, found family, and holiday magic in every snowflake.

With this title, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book. However I was so glad I did as it is a different take on a romance story. I enjoyed it very much.

What a PARTY!!!!!

Well written. There was lots of great descriptive words that led to vivid mental pictures of the preparations for the Christmas Party. I really lived the idea of the party becoming more than just a get-together rather
than what
the people of the community needed but might not be able to put into words.

Beau and Hallie

A beautiful Cowboy and city romance! I was certainly thinking that Beau would have moved a little faster to keep Hallie in Montana. I get that some people are more guarded than others. Two thumbs up!!

Santa Cowboy is an amazing start to what is going to be is a great new series. JC Savoy did a great job of bringing this heartwarming story to life. I mean, who can go wrong with sexy, broody cowboys. This will give you all the feels and you will be happy to have went on the journey with them!!

Hailey is a Dallas-based, workaholic, party planner that finds herself in Cottonwood Ridge, Montana. Little did she know that this little trip (and a letter) would change her whole life.

Beau - one of the many Kingsley Clan, will do anything for his family, friends, and small town community. However, there is one thing he had hoped to never do again, but wouldn't you know it, Hailey would arrive and turn his whole world upside down.

You will enjoy the journey of Haiely and Beau as they find themselves bringing their small town community together to help make the dreams of one small boy, (and maybe their own) a reality.

This is a sweet, small town romance. Written as a third-person POV with a happy for now ending. The main characters will appear in upcoming books as support characters and we will get to learn more about characters we were introduced to in this story in future books. They will get their own moment to shine.

Would I recommend this book? Absolutely

Would I read more from this author? No doubt about it!

2⭐️ Small town, closed door, Christmastime, kisses only, grumpy cowboy, found family.

Honestly, I was pretty bored reading this story. There was zero chemistry between the MCs until 90% of the story and then BAM, they are in love, making out in front of the whole town and are suddenly completely different people than the boring, avoidant and barely know each other people they were through the 3 weeks of reluctantly planning a party together. MMC was a real grouch, who begrudgingly helped the FMC recreate a town party at the FMC’s late grandmother’s house.

The story was soooo slow, and part of the writing style was annoying because every single chapter or break in the chapter ended like a “sigh.” I don’t know how to describe it differently. Most of the book was single POV of the FMC, and maybe 3.5 chapters were the MMC’s POV. Personally, I like a dual POV.

Anyway, I didn’t want to DNF because it’s a relatively short story (about 200 pages) so I forced myself to read more quickly so I could get it over with. It was just disappointing overall.

This was a really enjoyable Christmas romance. I think the "Billionaire" in the series title is a bit misleading. Beau's family is very successful in their small town. His father and uncles own ranches and businesses in and around the town. I also thought there was not a good explanation of why Hallie's mother was estranged from the grandmother who left her house to Hallie when she died. Apart from that I felt the writer has done an excellent job. The characters are very engaging. The gradual development of love between the grumpy cowboy and sweet event planner was very believable. I particularly liked the authenticity of the Christmas plans. J.C. Savoy has done some very good research. I would love to read more in this series.

“Santa Cowboy” is the 1st book and a Sweet Billionaire Cowboy romantic story from the new ‘Kingsley's of Cottonwood Ridge’ series... Hallie comes to this wonderful small town for a short stay, never thinking she might meet the man of her dreams... But can she resist Beau Kingsley, a real cowboy with a heart of gold? ... Even tho I volunteered to read this book, these are my own opinions & I can honestly recommend Ms. Savoy’s books to all fiction lovers of any age, and now I can’t wait for more!

We author to me but I really enjoyed her style of writing and storytelling. Characters were interesting and their journey was quite funny at times. Love the small town feel where everyone knows your business.

Good read

The scene is set very well with very readable characters. A little repetitive making it a bit slow moving but overall I would read more in the series.

I liked the premise but the story was so slow and to be truthful, it was annoying.
The two main H’s couldn’t sort themselves out or communicate honestly.
Hallie’s background was typical of this trope.
Even though she is now an adult, she has not seen her own grandmother since she was 12. Too busy with work, blah blah.
Hallie’s mother died recently, but was never interested in visiting her own mother, as it was to far, to cold, to everything decent. Wonderful example.
But Hallie is left grandmothers house and finds her real family history when she goes back to sell her legacy.
Beau blowing warm then cold was annoying.
He was never actually hot, which meant these two didn’t even kiss until nearly the end.
I don’t mind the no sex part, a nice change to be truthful. But molasses was faster moving.
Family is huge to allow for lots more books.
The best bit to me was Delaney and the animal antics.
