That's one thing about my favourite mangaka: they can make me like things I usually don't like - like, say, crossdressing or stories with an age difference.
To be honest, I'm still on the fence regarding the main romance, but I love weird little families like the one depicted in this manga: Yuuji is living together with his younger brother Kou and their nephew Hayato and niece Kikka after their mother (Yuuji's stepsister) disappeared three years ago. Yuuji's thirteen years older than Hayato and so he's more than a little distressed when one day Hayato tells him he's in love with him. At the same time, Kou is quite a bit of a playboy who doesn't realize his best friend Hidaka has been in love with him for years... or does he?
The story reads less weird than its description does - I won't lie, if it wasn't Hideyoshico I wouldn't have read this. But as it is, I'm curious where the story will go. I am more invested in Kou's story than in Hayato's and Yuuji's, but I love the way she writes Hayato - how he's trying so hard to play it cool, but it's only an act.
And as always, I love her art. My absolute favourite bit about this may be Kikka's hair ^^

La verdad es que no sé muy bien si me siento cómoda leyendo esta historia pero la mangaka es una de mis favs y de momento todo lo que me cuenta, podría hasta entenderlo

1er tome intéressant, il y a eu quelques redflag mais j'aimerais connaître la suite.

Ce premier tome alterne différents points de vue : adulte, enfant, mais aussi passé et présent, ce qui se traduit par une difficulté de compréhension de l'histoire. Les personnages ne sont pas toujours clairement reconnaissables surtout que le mangaka imbrique des histoires dans d'autres histoires.On se mélange vite les pinceaux entre les protagonistes, ce qui est bien dommage car certains passages mériteraient d'être plus explicites, plus approfondis, plus détaillés avec des repères spatio-temporels précis. Malgré ces petits désagréments, ce manga reste plaisant à découvrir et nous donne envie de connaître la suite....
